Day 5 and finally feeling it.. my whole body feels numb and weak today. I have been pushing myself hard with working out and am now focusing on my diet more than i was before. I am doing p90, p90x maybe once I have done a few rounds of the P90.. Have you seen there is a program above and beyond P90x called P90x+ Do you have to be a marine to get through the workout?!?!? I just need to get through today and maybe feel better tomorrow. Hopefully. |

I love your post, I am in the need of an inner snowball! I was slacking in life and for the last week have been picking up the pieces and going slow and it works. I am happier, I am stronger, I have done all my workouts that I planned to do.... eating well. Some how living a healthy life comes all together even when you may not notice it at first.

Hi, I'm Diana, 27 also with a 2.5 year old daughter. I am looking forward to losing around 60 pounds but starting off by 20 and then another 20 and of course the other 20 (that's if i can keep the momentum up) I am on day 4 of the p90 program and my sister Natasha is just past day 60. Lets really do this and keep eachother motivated... even on those rough days. Success no matter what! Take care, hope to hear from you soon.

I just wanted to say thank you for your story. I have let myself get to around a BMI of 39. Your story makes me want to food journal again, continue with my p90 workouts (i am on day 2 of 90) And get moving. If you do it, you will see results. Just have to commit. Anyways, thanks for your story again.

I haven't watched any biggest loser this season, but when i do i get so addicted that i dont do much else than watch the show and make poor choices too (mostly frozen pizzas with my hubby) Maybe i'll change that to veggies and hummus instead... |

Hi my name is Diana and I would love to join this group! My start weight was 225 my current weight is 215.6 and my goal weight is 165. I dont remember the last time i was at 165 maybe when i was a tween and that was long ago.. I am a mother of one most amazing wonderful Daughter Nina who is 2 and a bit going on 15 with the eye rolling and the arm crossing/stomping that i have been noticing the past little while. I also have a best friend for a husband and his name is Ike. I really can't say much about it other than i love him to pieces and think the world of him. I have a good life and have realized to really enjoy it I need to take care of my self too, and not do it with food like i regularly do. I was doing really well and hit 194lbs in May but with family stress, a car accident and depression hit in i let myself get up to 225. But now i am working it down and hopefully it sticks this time! Since i am working hard mentally to deal with issues i think i may have a better chance this time. I am a knitter, i love buying exercise videos (zumba is coming in the mail soon! yay!!) I love cooking, baking and gardening, playing and reading with my daughter, snuggling my babies (husband included), i like to try things i have never done before, any self improvements i can educate myself about is great too.
Can't wait to meet everyone here and wish you all the best of luck and determination! Diana T.

Thank you both, I guess i know how i want to feel but dont know how to get there. I am trying to find a grief support group here, maybe my doctor would know how to find something like that, i canf afford to go and talk to anyone this year. My husbands health coverage doesnt cover seeing a shrink although i really wish it did. Today i didnt eat away the pain, the anxiety i feel today is overwhelming but maybe tomorrow will be better.

I am doing a run/walk program now at 200 and change. What you have to do is build up your endurance. Although i have been going through some personal turmoil and not doing too well on losing weight right now ( more like gaining actually) i always know that i can start back at the beginning of the run/walk program and get results quickly regarding how long i can run. Remember to listen to your body and stay positive. I wish i was at 174, i dont actually remember the last time i was 174. I used to snowboard tonnes at 185 so i bet if you build up your strength you will be skiing in no time!

well after a week in the dominican i thought i would be up 5-10 lbs and sure enough i was back to 201.8... ouch! It was like all the work i have done was totally wasted. But after afew days back in the swing of things i am back down to 196lbs. So i am still up 2 lbs from before i left but considering everything that is pretty great i think. Oh well back to food journaling and working out with no booze. (too much of food and booze on the trip) |

My husband and i are headed to an all inclusive in the dominican tomorrow and i am so nervous that i am going to blow it. any kind of booze is included, food 24/7 , 3 different buffets, 6 free sit down restaurants, a coffee shop and a pizza place...... i just want to scream at this point. It has actually been keeping me up at night. There are tonnes of activities to do all included. But this will be my first time since being on CC that i wont have access to it. (no internet) My plan is to try to stay focussed and to just maintain my weight for the week. I am just thinking with all the walking on the resort, all the swimming i will be doing with my little daughter and all the other things i can do if i want, this doesnt have to be the disaster from hell where i come back heavier than when i started cc at the end of march. I wish i could take a cc buddy with me to keep me in check. Oh well, i havent been on vacation since our honeymoon in sep 2006 so instead of dreading a vacation i should just enjoy it right?? |

i am 194 even today... this week has been up and down from 194.8-198... god only knows why that would be.. but today is 194 and i feel good about it. Hope everyone is doing great!

I need a twin in a bad way!! 26 yo/ female 195.8 lbs 5'3" tall medium frame goal weight 135-145 I am a mom, so my body has definately changed since having my daughter. I need to gain some control and lose this weight before it damages my health for good. Of course looking great wont hurt but my main priority is to get healthy. I know my twin is out there... PM me if you think we are a good match.

Well gals i ran a 5K mothers day run yesterday!! And i actually finished! For some reason my weight is up more than 3 pounds from yesterday. I am imagining that it is my body being sore and swollen from pushing myself and walking another 3-4 kms yesterday too. But we will see. I will keep you posted later in the week to see what is going on. |

My stats today May 7th SW (march 30th) 201.8 CW 194.2 GW 130-145 I am really seeing the weight drop now, i dont know why i would have until now.. strange. But i am not going to ask questions. I am glad to see it go!!

I cant believe i am down!! I have been hovering around 196-198 and for some reason or another even with working out everyday and eating within my calorie range most days i hadnt seen a difference in a few weeks. Well girls i am down to 194.8. My SW on march 30 was 201.8, I didnt realize the weight was coming off.. i know that sounds funny but it just seemed like i was losing the same 5 pounds since the start of this but somehow i am down in just over a month. Yay me!! Seeing a loss finally makes me want to do even better, work harder and eat healthier. (please remind me of this on my bad days... somehow i tend to forget my accomplishments when i am not seeing results on the scale) Best of luck to everyone this week Diana |

Should we do a deficit challenge? Maybe atleast for me i really need to focus on lowering my coffee intake and also increasing my water intake. Any ideas for a workout challenge? I am up for anything as usual!
Wish me all luck gals, i am going to a family birthday party this afternoon and my husbands family is greek so they force food down your throat or guilt you into it. I am going to stay strong, no cake for me... i dont want it. Maybe i will write that on my hand to remind me ... hehehe I DONT WANT IT!!! |

My SW for this challenge was 198.4 CW is 196.8... feels like i have been at 196.8 for a long time but i guess not. Hmmmmm
I forgot to add the rest of my stats so here they are: April 20th- Lbs:198 Waist 99cm Upper Arm:39&37 cm Thigh: 77&75cm Hips 118cm April 25th Lbs:198.4 Waist 97cm Upper Arms:37&35 cm Thigh:74&72cm Hips 115cm May 2nd Lbs: 196.8 Waist 97cm Upper Arms:34cm Thigh 73&71cm Hips 111cm So a downward trend is great right??!?! Slowly but surely. how is everyone else doing?

I am in! 26 yo 5'3" SW 201.8 CW 196 GW 135-145 If i can get there one day my dream weight would be 125... who knows if that is possible after already having a child and being overweight for most of my life. But i am giving it a try!

- Determine the projected target date (see under Overall in the figure above)
