Are you drinking enough water? I know if I'm low for the day I get that feeling. One way to check is if your urine is bright yellow, you need more water. |

I LOVE almond butter. It has much less sugar than peanut butter. I love it as a nightly snack on a banana. |

No they have a shamois in the middle that is a cushion. It kinda looks like a big maxi pad sewn into the shorts. It helps to protect your sits bones and the rest of that area. Without them I'd never be able to ride, on my road bike or bikes at the gym. |

I always wear my biking shorts because I have the same problem. I even wear them on the Expresso bike and exercise bikes in the gym. |

I like cottage cheese over romaine with nuts , goat or feta cheese, red peppers, maybe sundried tomatoes, and a dole cup of mixed fruit with the juice. The juice is a great substitute for salad dressing. |

You need an off day at LEAST once a week in order for your muscles to recover. When you exercise you break down the fibers and they need time to repair. I understand the feeling though. I am a triathlete and work full time, so if I take a day off I feel like I'm not building to my potential. We have to remember that in order for our bodies to improve it needs the time off. It's obvious that you need a day off when you are feeling run down, sick, etc. Maybe on your "off'day you could do some light yoga or go on a slow, light walk? I do that and it makes me feel as if I at least did something. Hope this helps. |

If she really concentrates on her workout you might want to wait until she is finished working out. This way she isn't distracted by her workout.

It definitely is for me. Food is kind of a reward for me after a stressful day, (I deserve a treat!)That combined with opportunities to eat a lot, or eat poorly, like (entire)family dinners. I'm so good all week and then the weekend hits and I don't have as much control over the food choices. |

I have to say it is really comforting to know there are many other people that experience this too. Its really a secret for me, so having you all makes me feel better. The past two nights were bad. It really has to do with stress right now. I am finishing my master's, working, and training for a triathlon. With the exception of the training there is little I get to do for myself, and I let myself go when I get to let my hair down. Thanks for the book suggestions risabelle, I'm going to check them out. |

So I made it 27 days without a binge. Then I over did it on tortillas and popcorn. Ew, my stomach hurt (although not the worst its ever been) from being full, and then all the salt. I'd have to say its progress. There's still work to be done though, Days without 3. |

I'm right there with you Alexwilliams. I've been doing well for quite a while now, but last night I went out for my husband's birthday. I started out fine, but I think the drinks get to me and I lose my will. I ate more than what I wanted and even picked at leftover fries (a food I very rarely eat). I did't really feel like it was a binge, I wasn't eating out of control like I had been, but I ate way over my calorie limit. And my stomach feels awful today with the "not so healthy food". Would most of you consider this a binge, or just overeating? Stay strong!

| I completed 2 sprints last year. This year I'm training for my first olympic, the Memphis in May. I love everything about triatholns. I used to run all the time and now I've found my run times going down. I think its due to all the cross training. Its so sad having to train inside right now. I can't wait for it to be warmer and more daylight. | |||

| Back to day one again. I just have a very hard time at parties were food is all around. I go with the intnsion of being good, get half way through and then lose it. I didn't go WAY over but, it was mindless eating. I usually pick at everythig. Even if I get a plate, I'll go back later and pick. Any tips, suggestions? I just want to feel like a eat 'normally" at these types of things. | |||

I'm totally in the same boat. I went to a football party last night with the intension of eating fairly well. That didn't happen, even with the light beer (Beck's light premium 64 cals a bottle!) and the spinach munchies I brought. Oh, and the superbowl is still to come. Go Pats! Days without 1 |

Did you calibrate the Nike+ to your stride? That also makes a big difference. I calibrated it to my stride and it was very close to what I normally do on the treadmill whe I put in my current weigth. Did you input your weight into the treadmill? |
