I would keep an eye on what you are having for dinner and try to eat 1/2 of that meal, ( maybe your mom could adjust her cooking to help you with your weight loss )? also i agree with the sodium intake.. that will keep water weight on you... and another thing muscle weighs more than fat so if you are working out daily it could be muscle you are building...

I have been on ww for a long time and i also kinda flip flop between them... on cc i lose much slower than i did on ww so i to am on the fence BUT i think (this is just my op) you lose quicker on ww cause of the pt counting and how the fat and fiber figure in to your daily pts apposed to you just counting your calories cause your calories can Carrie more fat than perhaps you could have had on ww.. ?? Hope that makes some senseUndecided

By the way ww did work out for me i did lose 40 lbs but then thought all was good and gained back 30 lbs so that's where i'm at now. either way whichever you choose good luck!

It sounds like how i feel when i  am having a very low blood sugar.. I get light headed sick to my stomach, blurred vision confusion and extreme fatigue and very irritable and argumentative and then shaky. It feels so horrible!!! Maybe you should consult with your DR..?? I hope you feel better soon

As a mom myself to 3 teanagers, i would never say anything like that to my children, because it's hurtful, your mom i guess doesn't know what you are going thru because she doesn't have the problem,  I would explain how you feel to her. At 123 and 5'3 you are NOT FAT as with any athlete you will have more muscle and muscle weighs more that fat, so i don't think you are fat you just have more muscle where as she probably doesn't have as much muscle. It's hard when people can't just keep there comments to them selfs.you know the saying if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all. If anything ask her to keep her comments to herself because she is going to give you a complex and it's not helpful to be hurtful. You didn't state how old you are so i'm not sure what you can get away with saying. comments like that usually make people so unhappy they just go ahead and eat more because it makes them feel worthless. Ask her to please respect you and help you thru this time..

When i'm looking for a little something sweet i go for some ff crackers and spread either lemon curd or some sort of jelly on them.. Or i have a weight watchers little cake, they have choc, carrot cake, lemon, and carmel they are 90 cal each.... or trader joes vanilla almond crunch granola bar they are sweet and nice n crunchy @ 130 cal each, or how about a serving of a good sweet cereal eaten dry, if you like choc a good one is cookie crisp...

Not even one reply!!!! I found it in case anyone wants to have it here it is..

  1. 2 cups ff ricotta cheese
  2.  8 oz light cream cheese
  3. 1/2 cup plain ff Greek yogurt
  4. 1/2 cup maple syrup
  5. 1 lg egg
  6. 3 lg egg whites
  7. 2 tsp vanilla
  8. 1+1/2 cup fresh berries(optional)
  9. 2 tbsp
  10. chopped toasted pecans(optional)
  11. preheat oven to 325
  12. lightly coat 3 mini muffin tins with cooking spray set aside
  13. put everything in a blender or food processor blend till smooth
  14. fill muffin tins all the way
  15. bake 20 mins  let cool completely then chill.. when done top with the berries and pecans if desired
  16. Makes 12   1 serving is 3 cakes @ 140 calories, 3 fiber, 8 gr protein, 16 carbs, 125 sodium

I just baked cupcakes made with choc cake mix added 2 egg whites and 1 cp diet pepsi when done i filled each cupcake with ff cool whip and it tastes just like a devil dog!!!!!!!!

Thats funny cause i have been eyeing this thing for a while.... But instead i bought  the Core Rhythms dvd's... in the begining of the dvds it seemed cool but then it went into dance mode and was so fast i was like what the h**k... Totally lost!!!!! WHY O WHY DO I KEEP BUYING THIS JUNK I have soooooo many dvds my husband thinks i'm addicted to buying exercise dvd's LOL   (i think he might be right)Embarassed

I also do the soda thing... You can make good brownies as well just use reduced fat brownie mix with 1 can diet root beer soda and as for the cake  there are so many different varietys you can do

 

Here's the recipe to Diet Soda Cake and some of the variations. I like to add a couple of egg whites but others don't and say there's turn out fine. My favorite is Orange Cake mix with Diet Orange Soda.

Diet Soda Cake

Serves 20 -
1 box cake mix - any flavor (ie Strawberry)
10 oz. diet soda - any flavor (ie Strawberry-Kiwi Soda)
2 egg whites
Bake in a 9x13 pan according to mix directions. For Frosting you can use Cool Whip mixed with SF/FF pudding or even jello.
A Few Combinations: (all with DIET SODA/POP!!)
orange cake / Mountain Dew
cherry chip cake / Cream soda
lemon / lemon
angel or yellow or orange cake/orange soda
white cake/ peach
spice cake/ lemon-lime
white cake/ginger ale
devils food or chocolate mix /Cola
devils food cake/ Vanilla coke
chocolate cake/ root beerchocolate cake/ cherry coke

A friend of mine gave this recipe to me. I don't know where she got it from but it's so good and it's frozen.. Perfect for this time of year

7.5 oz canned pumpkin

1/2 container cool whip free

1/2 package vanilla ff sf jello pudding mix (small package)

1/4 cup grapenuts cereal nuggets

combine pudding, pumpkin, and cool whip in a bowl then add in the grapenuts cereal

spoon into nonstick mini muffin tin and freeze

makes 15 frozen nuggets

cals approx 27 to 30 per nugget according to this recipe.... I did try to put it in the recipe builder but it couldn't find info for the cool whip and the pudding mix..

no i just clicked on the get ticker icon on where you set up and edit your profile then picked the ticker, then it said get code so thats what i did then pasted it in the profile and just doesn't come up.

When i followed weight watchers  they would suggest to do this to get rid of the extra fat.. If anything i think it just washes away the flavor..Undecided

I have been on ww so many times, I do love ww and have lost 40 lbs on it BUT gained most of it back and decided to give the cc a try. On ww roughly every 50 calories equals 1 pt depending on how much fat and fiber are in the food. on ww you can eat real foods but having to count the points for it, it doesn't seem like you get enough (so you fill up on freebies) the way i see it on cc i'm eating more real foods and whatever i want as long as i'm in my cal range for the day. It seems to be working for me, but either one is good i just got very tired of analyizing every food that i was going to eat for the point value, when you count cals it's right there for you on the package..

I hate that everytime i see my Father he tells me i look like i have been lifting dumbells because my arms are big! funny thing is he has a very big beer belly... go figure.. o and i also hate the belly overhang around the waist. always have to wear a loose shirt...

Oatmeal Packet Cookies
1 packet instant oatmeal
2 Splenda packets
1/2 tsp baking powder
sprinkle cinnamon
1/4 C water
Stir together. Let sit for 5 minutes. Spoon into 4 cookie rounds. Bake 15 mn at 350  

These are a soft cookie but if you leave them in the oven longer maybe they will crisp up?
