People who don't know the difference between "its" and "it's".

When you mean :

"IT IS" = It's --> (It's cold today)

Posessive = Its -->  (Its shoes)

Isn't it the same?

Here in Aus, we call it "baby octopus"  Lol

But, trust me to use the wrong terminology, haha.

If i went to the fish shop alone, i'd probably end up buying a sting-ray, or something to that effect. :P

I write a lot of poetry...

I am completing my Major Work in poetry for my Extension 2 English course at school,

I just finished my suite of poems yesterday and it's due at the end of August. :)

I would post it, but since it contributes to a significant proportion of my grade, i'm afraid of plagiarism.

If i'm at the gym, i NEED my ipod, i cannot stand the horrible techno pop music that they play at the gym!

And if i'm walking alone, i like to have music as well.

But, if i'm walking my dog, i can't have my ipod with me, too much multi tasking, since my dog is such a pain to walk :P

Strawberries are proof that being absolutely flat out delicious and being good for you in every way are not mutually exclusive concepts.  I'd a million times rather have a big bowl of strawberries than a Krispy Kreme donut or a bowl of Cheetos.

i love them naked, all by their own little selves.  (and by naked, I mean both me AND the strawberries, for any nosypants who may be asking.... it's nobodys business but me and the strawberries)

 LOL!

Yes, when given the choice, i always perfer to go naked too.

But, i really shouldn't be doing that anymore... police have no sense of humour!. lol, aparantly it's called 'indecent exposure'.

So i guess it's just you, me and the strawberries. :P

I don't think that losing weight is a very good idea, since you've had a history of eating disorders, and, you're perfect just the way you are :)

How about just doing some exercises to tone the parts that you;re not completely satisfied with?

sorry, lol

My taste buds would honestly say that tomato sauce and chocolate go well together :P

I really like the kinds of bars where you can SEE the whole nuts and fruit...  i'm not sure where you live, so the brands would probably be different. But Higher calorie bars are usually nutty and quite healthy.

A trail mix type dried fruit, nut and grain kind of thing can taste quite sweet, and be calorie dense.

Dried banana is also a really nice fruit to eat dried!.. sorry, i know i'm pushing the bananas lol..  But, i really think that the crunchy, dried banana would taste good with a cup of tea :)

That sounds so good!!

I was looking for a way to make a substantial smoothie without bananas (too calorific imo)... so this sounds perfect.

I've tried it with fat free vanilla yogurt, it was too sweet...

So, cottage cheese would seem to be a good compromise :)

I generally don't count vegetables either, i find it easier, having them as 'safe' foods that i can have a limited amount of without worrying too much.

I was just wondering, with reference to the plate..   Would the cauliflower be an effective substitute for carbs?

Thankyou for the youtube link, "Lo carb cafe"  has some great ideas :)

I was JUST thinking about this!
I was literally just about to post something like this.  lol

I was thinking that maybe we could also make a "potato and cheese bake" ..  with mashed cauliflower and cottage cheese?

hmm..

BUT, i have one question.     Does cauliflower still count as a 'carb'?,   like, as substantial as bread/rice/potato?..    Because my dietitian advised me to have 1/3 of my plate veg, 1/3 carb, 1/3 protien.

I don't want to take a 'short cut' or anything, because i have a tendancy to substitute and substitute until i'm down to nothing (recovering from a eating disorder...)

It would be a great way to save a few hundred calories though...

Sorry for hijacking your thread..  *hides*

EDIT **.. Just one thing,  oil is scarily calorific.. 150cal/talespoon
