Fitness does jogging benefit my abs?? Jun 07 2006

I would have to say...it is different for each person...I know I have a lot more than 10% body fat and I have abs...My fat is deposited every where but my core...I don't know why...it's kind of annoying....since I started I have lost 10.5lbs...my extremity measurements came down about 1/2inch but my abdominal region has lost more than 2 inches...and I already didn't have much stomach fat...

finding something gold will be difficult and a bit unsafe...because of the location and higher gauge of the piercing gold can cause problems(infection, rejection, etc...) so most of the jewelry is surgical steel...you might be able to find some gold

I have an A- overall and the lowest score I have ever gotten was a B- so I'm pretty happy but the B+'s bring my A's down...since even in my quest to find one I have not found an A+ rated food so it is a little off but it's nifty to see

Yeah, late night eating is pretty bad. I would suggest not only the portion control like finewine suggested but maybe a change in your choice of crakers. I find unsalted heaver crakers like watercress turn off my appitite because I end up sitting there with a heavy, chewy, totally gross, moist wad of craker in my mouth(have you lost your appetite yet?)

or...

you could have a few whole wheat or reduced fat wheat thins or triscuits to help you get that little bit of extra fiber in you which will hopefully help you pass more of the food you just ate instead of it all beaing broken down and easily absorbed by the body. Just be careful I find these extremely addicting...especially with a little muenster cheese.

Cheerios have enough crevaces and holes in them you could probably just toss them in the oven for 5min on a sprayed pan and then put the garlic powder on it :)

A comment on the pudding icing post-

I mix coolwhip and dry chocolate pudding to make a really good, light and fluffy icing

I don't know about other flavors though...my aunt says they taste good but I rarely eat cake so when I do I always make chocolate frosting <3

I normally use a can of plain red kidney or black beans...I drain and rinse them too so they aren't slimey and it gets rid of a lot of the sodium as well.

I often make egg white, chicken, tomato, and cheese sandwiches...I don't like soggy bread so I pack the egg in one baggie and the bread in another(I use one slice) since you have a microwave you can even heat up the egg...

Sometimes I even take a container of salsa it's soooo good or skip the bread and put a cruched triscuit in the egg when I am cooking it

I also love veggetarian chili I make mine with beans, corn, stewed tomatoes, garlic salt, and cumin. The beans have lots of protein.

You could even do some fun things with dal(a type of lentil) it's really good and not very high in calories

You could also just take hardboiled eggs

Light and Non-fat yogurt is also good for protein

Cashews, Peanuts, and Almonds have less fat than walnuts and macadamia nuts but they all have good fat so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Actually one of the things I noticed was that light n' fit is only 6oz while most other yogurt containers are 8-12oz

and yes the splenda helps ^_^

1.  What are your plans for the long weekend? Homework and studying Japanese

2.  What was the worst pick-up line anyone ever used on you? Come on...you know I'm the only Egyptian guy here(though I will say it almost worked...I've had other guys write signs asking my for my number as I walked by but that really aren't pick-up lines ^_^;;;) and these incidents all happened at various anime conventions...they are a whole other world...it's almost expected to happen there

Oh...it isn't me but it's funny. My friend works at a grocery store and has short hair. While she was facing the opposite direction a guy came up to her check-out line and said 'Excuse me sir, where's the soda?' my friend turns around the guy blushes and walks away. The next day he comes back apologizes profusely, rambles on and on and then offers to buy her a drink.

I found it amusing anyway.

Well here are a few suggestions...

1.) Don't do anything in your bed other than sleep...as in reading, watching t.v. or doing paperwork

2.) Make sure you have total silence or at least a noise that has no interuptions(ie. white noise from the radio)

3.) Turn off all of the lights possible...if you have a digital alarm put an index card over the numbers.

4.) Have a minimum 30minute cool down time before bed.

5.) Make sure you have sleeping clothes that you NEVER WEAR to do anything other than to sleep in

6.) change your sheets...often

Yeah, those are some of the things I do...I find that the human mind can be trained...If I read in bed, I spend an hour thinking about the book before I fall asleep.  If I read downstairs on the couch I hit the bed like a bag of sand.

Covering up the light helps because I tend to move...a lot.  When I turn in my sleep to the side my alarm clock is on the light wakes me up. Plus, I always feel more tired in the morning when I know how much sleep I didn't get.

I love grilling food!!!

My favorite recipe is grilled salmon with a light coating of 50% brown sugar and 50%chili powder on top...yes it sounds gross but it is really good the salmon even loses the fishy flavor! but maybe some people like that.

When grilling fish buy a small mesh pan thing for grills(otherwise the fish falls apart these are very cheap...I get mine form the local dollare store)

Heat the grill to the highest temperature it can go. It  the bottom of the fish so it doesn't 1: Fall Apart and 2: to keep the fish from slowy cooking into the bars on the grill You should turn it down slightly after the first few minutes

How long you cook it depends on the fish...the cut of fish...how much heat is used and where you put the fish on the grill(there are often cold and hot spots)

My best advise is to practice...before you have people over

It goes best with grilled asparagus that is mixed with a little olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, and a little salt and pepper. You mix it in a bowl and toss it on the grill...you might want to keep the grill open depending on how hot it is for the rest of the food.

That so funny. I hadn't really thought about it but I have that pronounced third muscle on my calf that my gym teacher always asks me how I got (she says she works on hers all the time but it just doesn't want to develop) and all this time I didn't even think about it being from DDR >_<

freelei-You made my day.

There are a few systems for the computer the most popular is Step Mania it has all sorts of cool anime/jrock songs as well as techno...If you are any good on the computer you can even make a routine for your own song. It also has a ton of modes...such ae the drunk mode where the arrows swagger around so it gets to be a bit harder.

Oh...and Step Mania is FREE TO DOWNLOAD!!! so as long as you have a pad the only extra invesment you need to make is the adapter and maybe a DVD-R (the program is HUGE so it helps to keep some of the song packs off of your hard drive)

I love DDR...although I am obsessed with anything asian >_<

I normally use it for cardio on days when it's really nasty out. It is a lot more fun than a tredmill but I too wonder about the validity of the calorie count...Extreme 2 even keeps track of your weight which is kind of nice but the songs are well...less asian so I like the first 'Extreme' better.

yeah...
