I don't know if I want to count calories for the rest of my life but for now it seems to be working. I don't plan on stopping just because I've lost some weight. I want to eat right forever! |

We are two people, a cat, and a dog. We spend anywhere from $20 to $70 a week on groceries and other items. We try to keep it under $50. We always shop at Wal-Mart to get the best prices. I think we do a good job of budgeting! |

I also had a period of over a week without a bowel movement. I called my doctor and she told me to take fiber, so I have been taking a tablespoon of Metamucil a day for nearly a year now and haven't had any further problems! |

Today I walked 4 hours. If I'm walking 3-4 miles per hour that puts me around 12 - 16 miles walked in a day. But I don't work outside the home so I have time to walk this much. |

I did this the other day, I went way over my calories for the day at a party. I just worked out to burn off as many as I could that day and then got back on track the next day. That is about all you can do. Just get back on track tomorrow and try to burn extra calories if you can. |

Calories burned are more difficult for me. Yesterday I had to eat some toast with butter just to bring my calories eaten over 1200! But exercising is something I have to force myself to do. My goal is to burn 2000 calories a day (including my base, of course) and to eat 1500. I've been doing good most days but then there are days like yesterday when I just couldn't seem to get up out of my chair and DO something. |

I was going to come in here and suggest volunteering, but someone beat me to it! I have had a few interviews for volunteer positions, I have one tomorrow as well! I'm not particularly job hunting but I am going stir crazy being cooped up in the house every day. Hopefully you find something! :D |

I've never heard of this, sounds weird to me. I usually wash my hair once or twice a week, never gone more than two weeks without washing. |

I was 5'3'' and weighed 97 pounds. Now I'm 5'3'' and weigh 130, so I feel super fat! I still have a BMI within normal range, but my stomach is way bigger than I think it should be. I never had a problem with weight, but in 2007 I started on some meds which have increased my appetite and I also went from a very active lifestyle to a very sedentary one. |

I set my activity level to sedentary and I add everything I do. Even folding laundry and doing dishes. I just started this thing on the 14th so I want to be as accurate as I can. I dunno, whatever you feel is best is probably best. I don't see anything wrong with adding light activities. They do burn calories after all. |
