| I hear ya. I havent lost more than 30lbs and have kept a steady weight now for a year. But I swear even though I am eating the same and working out pretty much the same my skin seems looser. I have no idea how to get rid of it. I think it is here to stay. | |||

| Fitness | Horrible headaches during workouts | May 27 2008 20:12 (UTC) |

| I sometimes get bad headaches from cardio too but dont know what they are from. My blood pressure can run really low and when it workout sometimes it will spike and that is when I find I am working out too hard and I get the headaches. I got myself a heartrate monitor and that seems to help to tell me when I am working out too hard. | |||

| My children are 19 and 22 so havent lifted a three year old in many years. Use to work for a salt service and lifted 80lb bags of salt and still lift 40 so I know I can lift more. Just not sure on how many times. And real afraid of bulking up. I have the muscles I can see them if I flex. Just dont know if I have to go out and buy heavier ones. Do have 15lb and one 20lb. | |||

| I too would like to learn more about this. I have lifted weights for years here at home. How heavy of the weights are we talking?? I usually lift 12lbs and change the workout every month. I do 3 sets of 10 reps for two weeks and than the other two I do 4 sets. Do you lift more and less reps??? | |||

| Will this effect the number of grams of sodium in the product or food than or will it be listed as something else or nothing at all??? I find this really interesting since I have been on a special diet with my husband who has kidney problems that we are trying to stablize. | |||

| I have not smoked for 8 years. However the cravings are still there once in a great while. I on the other hand have a husband that still smokes and have always like the smell of them as he smokes them. It seems to calm me. I have tried smoking since than a time or two but I get so sick to my stomach and get a huge headache that it just isnt worth it to me. Guess that is a good thing since it will prevent me from going back to it again. Have to admit a person sure feels better when they are not smoking. | |||
| Motivation | How do you stop yourself from eating badly when you'e had a hard day, week or month? | Feb 13 2008 22:35 (UTC) |

| I too have my binge days and more so lately in winter it seems but I after a couple days of that I feel drained and my stomach is churning and start to feel nausated. It is than I realize do I want to feel terrible or do I want to eat healthier and feel better. It is hard to get back to the healthy part of it but I do feel better when I do eat better and work out. But sometimes you just to need to let yourself take a break from it and not beat yourself up over it. | |||
| Foods | Sodium help! | Feb 12 2008 22:46 (UTC) |

| I eat a low sodium diet due to my husband has had some kidney function lost and has to watch his sodium and potassium. I do not have high blood pressure but it is easier to eat what he eats. I do know that I lost weight on it and must retain water because when I do eat it I bloat. I feel better when I dont eat a lot of sodium but maybe it is just because we have to stick to mostly whole foods and process foods are basically out. And when you havent had it for long periods some foods you just cant eat because they are so salty. | |||
| Weight Loss | Look Good Naked. | Feb 12 2008 22:33 (UTC) |

| I am guilty of that a time or two also. I also look at other people and it makes me proud of myself that I do excercise and try to eat healthy. I have never had a good body image of myself until recently. I have been up and down with weight my whole life and now that I am older and my husband has health problems I seem to realize that I will never have the tight belly but I am strong and feel better than I have in a long time most days being on my husband's diet. And I do look at myself in the mirror naked and realize my body is not as bad as I think somedays. But is this world it is really hard to be happy with your body at any age and any size. | |||

| You are not alone. I am going stir crazy. Snowing every day here in WI or cloudy and cold. Going nuts with no sun! And even though the food is not doing the trick I cant seem to stop myself. | |||
| Weight Loss | The cost of food... eat healthy cost a lot. It is really hard for me to purchase healthy food... any one else in this situation? | Jan 23 2008 17:38 (UTC) |

| I find it expensive too. For the most part there is only my husband and I but I spend about $200 a week. My husband has kidney issues so I can only buy low sodium items and no potatoes or bananas or anything else that has high potassium. These items are expensive and living in the midwest it dont seem to matter this time of for fruit and vegetables. They are expensive. | |||

| I only let myself have dark chocolate dove minatures. Easier to stop eating them since I am not a dark chocolate lover. Sometimes I eat them with a little of peanut butter. Also Quaker Mini Delights Chocolately Drizzel are good and only 90 calories a bag. | |||

| I do drink a lot of water so dont think that is the problem. I use to work out first thing in the morning but than the headaches would interfere with my job. I breathe in through my nose and out through my mouth. I read in a fitness magazine that was the way to do it years ago. I just think that maybe I get overheated sometimes with it. I usually dont get the headaches as bad at when I workout at night though. Maybe more in my stomach??? | |||

| I try to do interval training also on the treadmill. I up the speed for two minutes and recover for 3. The problem is though that after a while I start to get a headache which leads into a migraine. Does that mean I am working out too hard??? | |||

| I have actually been visting this site and using the tools for a couple
of months now but this is my first post. I have been battling weight problems since I was in third grade. I dont have that much to lose really now but am always afraid of gaining to a point where I will. I lost like 20lbs 4 years ago but since have gained some of it back. My husbands plant closed and we had to basically start over again which forced me to get a full-time job and finding time for excercise now is tricky. And I now have a desk job which I am not use to and I find myself wanting to nervously munch all day. Every day is a chore to make the right food choices and get the physical workout I need. But this site seems to help me a lot even though there are days where it just seems hopeless. But I am forever trying. |
