START June 25-27: 195 I’m not really happy with this number. I feel like I worked my butt off this week and I only lost 1 pound. I know I should be happy with any loss but I have been having such a hard time these last few weeks, I think I’m hitting my first plateau and it sucks! On the up side I was able to hit my 50 pounds mark. 234 in January 184 in July. Also I am probably going to hit my week 4 challenge, I ran 7 miles the other day and 13.1 last night so I just have one more 6+ to do. Anyway sorry for complaining, good luck everyone and keep up the good work. |

I find for me the best way to stave off hunger is drinking a lot of water and chewing gum. also chewing the gum helps keep me from snacking because I don't want any food to mix with the gum and I don't let myself take the gum out when I know I’m not really hungry. The guy in the cube right behind me has a drawer FULL of chocolate we are talking good chocolate and he makes sure the whole department knows about it and welcomes everyone to take as much as they want. So sitting right in front of him seeing people come and help themselves all day it is really hard 10 minutes before lunch when I’m really hungry not to eat it, but it doesn’t mix well with gum so… I haven’t eaten any since June 15th |

Another good way to check to see exactly how far you run or to help plain your runs is MapMyRun.com they have a good easy to use tool for mapping and measuring distances. |

Ok I’m a little late with my week 4 challenge but here it is. I have really been slacking on my training for my half marathon so I want to get back on track. I must run more than 6 miles twice this week and more than 13 once. I think I can manage that. |

START June 25-27: 195 It's my birthday today and I am happy to say that I have given myself the best present ever in these 49 lbs I have lost. I was shooting for 50 for my birthday but I’m still very happy! 50 will come soon enough. |

Actually I have only had my precious fried chicken once in the past four or five months and that was only a wing, so two more weeks should be easy. ^_^ I’m going to wait to weight in for another day or two, this weekend was very bad. Family reunion (lots of unhealthy food) + Back injury (no working out) = weight gain. |

BRAG; I hit my first weight loss goal of getting to 190 lbs that I set for Sept 6th. That’s 44 lbs in 6 months!!! ^_^ DESIRE; I am running a half marathon on Sept 6th I want to look good enough to run without a shirt. GRATITUDE; almost every day someone tells me how good I am looking. It really helps me self esteem and gives me that extra encouragement to stick with my diet and workout plain. |

oh oh me too. i want in on this. This could not be more prefect! I’m running my first half marathon on Sept 6th. my real goal is to look good enough that i can run with my shirt off and not be embarrassed.
