Ok, thank you very much, both of you. I will try to eat healthy and keep up on walking....it just snowed and so I don't know how much I will be able to get in though. :( I will look up that site as well and see if I can get some ideas on what to do. Also, I am going to call the nurse and get with her about this spotting. It's so weird, I'm so excited, anxious, and scared all at the same time...plus sooo tired. I just can't seem to sleep enough. |

Thank you so much ladies, that really helped ease my mind. I've been going loupy with worry. Actually, I've been going up and down on with mood swings like crazy. One minute my sig. other will be looking at me and I smile, the next he looks at me and literally burst into tears! What's up with that? Anyway, I did call the shop, but they don't really have anyway to do anything with the order since they have to go to the company and order it that way at a regular size and then after we will do the alterations. Luckily, my mom can also do alterations, so that really is a relief. I just told my mom today, and she wasn't upset with me, but she wasn't happy either. I can understand, she is very traditional and the fact that i'm living with Justin before getting married has put her at ends already, much less getting pregnant before hand. But, honestly, she was ok with it....although, she wasn't as happy as she is for my sister. Granted, my sister has been trying to get pregnant for about 7 years now and finally had to do IVF (the first time she did it she lost all 3 babies, this time she lost one and so far is having a boy!) I know I can't compare her reaction to my sister the same as with me because, well, I just was not planning on this at all for about 4 more years. But it's ok, everything will be ok. I'm glad I found this little group, I think I am going to need it. |

So, I found out I am pregnant..... I feel so weird saying that. I have odd periods and thought I was just skipping another period like I normally do, and I was also sure I had PCOS, honestly. I thought it was going to be really hard for me to get pregnant, but nope, it happened and we only had an uh oh moment 2 times, but that's all it took I guess. I have taken 4 pregnancy tests so far, each a different brand from different stores, all positive. I have called my doctor and they will not be able to get me in until the 21st of this month. I'm rather horrified because I have a wedding in March....MY WEDDING. I have my dress ordered and everything. I'm freaked out about if I am 10 weeks along right now then I will be 5 months along during my wedding. :( I really love my dress and it cost $1000. I don't have the money not to wear it. i actually posted a new thread about this issue because I'm freaking out over it. I just wish I knew how far along I was. I have a bit of pain and some spotting... I know ectopic pregnancies run in the family, so I'm rather worried about that. But all I can do is stay calm I guess. |

Thanks, my mom is actually a seamstress so she could let it out and what not. Thank goodness! I think I will not be showing too much, but you never know I guess. I will have an issue with my breasts as they are already too large for my body. I have calmed down a bit just by reading you reply. Thank you, I really appreciate it. I need to be calm. Thanks again! |

Original Post by missvirgell: I'm getting married in Vegas too!!! Only, in March...oh, and I would love to lose 20lbs before then. I have the Jillian Michaels DVD 30 day shred and another one that kicks my butt, I haven't made it through it yet, but I sure would love to just have my face look slimmer instead of the pudgy look I have now. I'm working, I just keep slipping up because the fiance looooves to have pizza and speghetti and wine all the time! UGH! |

Original Post by dkn: well, the reason I cannot rent this dres in my size in March is because it is too new and it is a special order kind of thing. I don't like complicated weddings either....I just have issues with my body and I don't want to look silly in my dress on my wedding day. :) Thanks for the advice, I would love to weigh 180 by March, considering I weigh right now at 211lbs. I can do it! |

Original Post by kbella24: that is such a gorgeous dress!! I actually saw this dress at one point thinking that I would totally get it....haha! :) Well, I have lost weight in the past and it really hasn't hampered my body shape too much, I just look like a smaller me. My breasts for some reason do not lose at all! I wish they did, but maybe it's a good thing. Right now the onlyh reason I do not look like I weigh as much as I do is because I have such HUGE melons! Anyway, I think I will go ahead and wear the shapewear under it because I just want to have the tummy in a bit because that is basically where I lose it (thank goodness). It goes there second after my face...it makes me look totally different losing 20lbs just because my face is not so cuddly looking. I do have a rather protruding stomach so I want to lose the weight so maybe I won't have to wear the shape thing under when it comes to the wedding and just wear a regular bra or something like that later. I suppose I won't really know what will work until I get my dress.
But thank you everyone for all of your advice! I really appreciate it, and it calms me down. |

Amethystgirl - I will be wearing the shaping stuff under it if the dress does not look good without it. See, I have a bigger chest than is comfortable not wearing a bra or anything...in fact I've never not worn a bra in my life with any outfit. There is no way it would work, but sometimes the dresses inside have a bra in them that might work. I am unsure with this dress as I saw it online and have not actually been able to see one in person. But I think I will probably wear it, as long as the back does not show...the dress does a nice dip in the back. http://www.shopofbrides.com/WeddingDresses055 9_8779.htm that's the dress...so you can see it at least. samanta81 - thanks for the advice. I will continue on then. A good thing for me though, my honeymoon will not be until a month after the wedding so I can lose even more after the event! haha. I will continue on then with my goals. :D |

You did much better than me last night....I totally cleaned my plate that was full of orange chicken, sesame chicken, fried rice and to top it off a fortune cookie with no fortune in it. :(.....oh..and crab wontons. dear me, I was doing so good for the last 3 weeks and then this week I totally botched it! |

haha....sorry, I was just talking about the calorie content and then I did another search and found out what I was needing to know. I thought they didn't have any calories at all and I was like "hell yea! I found my food I can eat tons and tons and tons of....." however, I really don't think I could only slightly a few less than that. hm |

Original Post by gi-jane: Ha! I understand what you said and I can see it with the people I've known to be on Atkins. When they start to eat those lovely little buscuits they gain it back rather quickly and usually more than what they started with. I will just do my portion control...I have to remember that it's all in the freezer and not going anywhere except slowly into the betterment of my body. I don't have to eat it all right now because I have it! The stew is a good idea too...now I just need to learn how to cook outside of my little circle of "on the grill with it." haha. |

Thanks! I will try to do that then. Our meat is going to be very very slow in going then. :) I guess I just don't understand how people who eat on the atkins diet lose weight if red meat is so high in calories. I suppose I need to do more research on my own to figure it out instead of making you do it for me. :D |

My big cat Roy...he's 15lbs...mostly muscle and just a huuuge cat. He does not like closed doors. He will jump up on his hind legs and paw at the door for forever and if it is the right kind of handle he will open it. If it's a sliding door he will open it. He also loves to have his tail pulled because he will flop down and just stare at you till you pet him. When he wants attention he will jump up on his back legs and tap you with his front paws until you look at him and then he will start talking to me until you pet him then he pulls your hand down with his paw as he goes down to the floor and makes you pet him. He loves my hair ties, he will put it under the rug and then 10 min later go diving under the rug to find it and flip it around and then put it back and then come back 10 min later to do the same thing. My other cat Howie, who has one green eye and one blue AND unfortunatly is deaf....well, it's actually really hilarious....anyway, he likes to jump into the shower with me....he will just sit there on the floor of the bath tub. he usually gets a bit wet too. He loves to lap up the water out of the faucet...so funny. And him and a lazer pointer really is too funny, i make him really dizzy and he continues to chase it up the stairs and runs into the walls. He also plays fetch by himself, he will take his little ball in his mouth and then go to the top of the stairs and throw it down then run down to catch it and run back up the stairs. Thirdly, my other cat that is lost at the moment, her name is Orange Cat...she would bite your nose if she liked you...she would run up to you when you are laying down and carefully bite the tip of your nose then start petting her head on your face. The other thing is, she would only do this with Justin, but when he would pat his lap she would come running and jump into it and sit there. Lastly, anytime you whistled she would run up to you and slap your face. I absolutely loved my other cat that is also lost because the roomate left the door open...Marth, she would come to me and only me and any other time she would hide out under the couch until I was alone in the room, then she would come and just sit right down on my bladder and sleep. I loved that cat so much. I miss her :*( |

Ok, I'm in! I have started one of these before and after the first weigh in I stopped....so maybe I'm hoping for two weigh in's this time. haha. I lost almost 10lbs from this site and then I gained it all back. I have my wedding to plan for and I'm not losing weight for the wedding, just losing weight because I want to...well, plus where I live I don't have any place that seems to have my size in a wedding dress that I like. So I figure I better get slimmer if I want a certain dress (of course if it doesn't happen, I'll still be ok with whatever!) lol. My wedding is in February so I bet I could lose up to about 30-40lbs?? |

Original Post by cinastik: Well, I feel silly, but I just started it....week one day one was yesterday. haha. But I do feel really good about it! Mainly because I bought some sole inserts for my shoes because every single time I run I get shin splints and that was one of my biggest reasons not to run...also because I feel like I look retarted also. (I have large breasts so I created my horrible way of running...I shuffle my feet so I have less impact, lol...so stupid looking. I fixed that problem with an awesome bra, but I still run like that because that's how I've done it for most of my life.) Anyway, It's awesome that you are on week 4!!! I can't wait to get to that point! I really enjoy being outside in the mornings when I run instead of inside in that nasty sweaty smelling gym. I think on Thursday I will swim because I love to swim and I think it will also help me with my breathing and so many other things. Keep up the good work!! |

I for sure feel sore, but I don't have shin splints thank goodness. Exercise is new to me in the way that I haven't actually gone out of my way to do it. My last job I seriously worked my butt off...I was a landscaper/mower, so on average I walked about 10 miles a day, but I just switched to a desk job and now I am just sitting around. Since switching to this job, I've gained a lot of weight because of me being stupid...but i've always been a very muscled girl. I don't look like I weigh as much as I do. So I am new to exercise this way, but I use to be very physically active in the past with my job...but I've totally lost it. I think i will try out the swimming on alternate days, but I will wait off on the weights until I have lost my initial 30lbs. Right now I'm at 209 and want to get to 180. So yea. Thanks everyone |

I've met 2 guys....unfortunatly both I didn't click with. The first guy was a good ole' country boy....nice, just not for me. The 2nd guy was a very very creepy experience. But honestly, you can get a creepy experience even with someone you didn't meet online. Unfortunatly, this guy was a trip, he drove 9 hours to see me...which I was kind of freaked out about because after talking to him on the phone he did something very very weird, which is so not appropriate for this disscussion board. Anyway, to say the least he freaked me out because after he got here, he said he wanted to move there and be with me 24/7. yea, not my cup o' tea. However, I did get to know my fiance online, granted we met and knew each other a year or so before, but I got to know know him online. Oh, and my brother met his current girlfriend online and she's awesome! But like I said, you could get someone awesome or someone not, it really is dependent on people. I've met people just in person who have freaked me out even more than that one dude....so, i think of online as a really big bar, you get the good and the bad. :) |

NO! It's not out of line at all!!! Thank you so much for sharing your story! I'm so glad i'm not alone with this stupid head of mine. I'm so happy I think I'm going to add you to my friends list! Congratulations on the lbs lost! I don't even know you and I'm proud of you...maybe because you said exactly the same things in your reply as I'm saying in my head all the time! Thank you for your help! I hope to wake up and to just have it all click and just want to do it, but I'm holding myself back for some stupid reason....I'll get there, I know I will! :) :) |

Okay! Thank you for your help with the options for the bodybugg and Gowear Fit. I will look at those and decide if I can get them! Thank you so much! pbear999: Okay, so my fiance gets up at 5:30 for work and goes, and I do wake up, but then I go back to sleep and I tell myself I'll just eat less instead of exersice...i'm such a poop. Seriously. I even have a membership and I waste it! I don't have any friends in town :( which is super sad. I stay at home at night because I am a computer player and I have alotted times to play stuff, i'm a super geek...I need to change it all! I need to start getting up and at em'! I like your ideas, really....like the pictures and things. I feel so stupid putting them up because I am embarresed for others to see them and know that I'm striving to work out....I don't know why. I signed up for only a one mile walk-a-thon on August 29th to do a drive for the down-syndrome society in my community. I hope by then I can run instead. :) I wish my town were bigger and we had a running store thing where I could learn to run correctly. Unfortunatly the place I have is stupid and we have high school kids working there who don't even know how to tie shoes. (harsh, but true) The Y we have here in town only has the pool open in the mornings for laps and the work out area is only open in the morning because of summer hours and they close up that area so they can have kids in the gym for their summer activities. It's so stupid. Anyway, I suppose I am creating excuses for myself, and the thing I need to do is just do what I know only I can decide for myself. Either live unhappy, or change. Simple as that! I just need to get off the darn computer and out in the sun. Thanks for the reply's. I really appreciate your support and advice. |

Your life sounds so close to mine, well, except different. Anyway, I think it's awesome to not have a ring....but maybe that's because my fingers are so chubby and i think a ring on my finger would just look silly. anyhow, my opinion is if he wants to get you a ring, tell him he can get a nice cheapo ring that no one will know the difference by. who cares if it's real or not, or even if it's just a silver band? what's wrong with that? my boyfriend gave me a ring out of a gum machine...he spent like 5 dollars until he got the stupid ring. haha. i have it, but i don't wear it because it's a fantastic green emerald like ring. anyway, he got that for me a really really long time ago, kind of a joke thing, but i still thought it was cute. |

Oh, and I had to have monthly blood tests before they would refil my perscription. This was to monitor my body, and to make sure I was not prego. But, lucky for me I didn't have to mess with even the idea of being prego because I could hardly look at myself in the mirror much less anyone get that close to me to do that! I know, I felt terrible. Plus, I realised with my face that I was also gaining more weight because I felt terrible it was getting worse, and then as I saw my face clearing up over time, my weight started going down because I felt soooo much better about myself. I'm not sure if you have a weight loss or weight gain issue, but it helped tons with me. again, best of luck and I hope you know that no matter what, you are beautiful and amazing no matter what! :) |
