Hello everyone,

 

Maggie- Thanks for all your great support, sorry I've been a little busy these past couple weeks. Theyve been crazy. You've been very supportive and are a great leader =).

 

I have consistantly been losing about 2 pounds a week which feels awesome =). This involves absolutely no exercise, I've just been eating a lot healthier (even with all the beer i've been drinking hehe). This week however I will start going to the gym again at least 3 times a week. I am at 165 now and am hoping by the end of June to be over that 160 mark which will be absolutely amazing =).

 

Good luck everyone, keep going at it =).

Hey everyone,

Hope all is well! I haven't posted here in a while!!! Thought I should update.

I just flew into Austin Texas yesterday for my internship this summer =).

I am about to head out to target to get my equipment for exercise in the summer.

A scale, resistance bands, and yoga videos =). I am very excited. Also for anyone who has an iphone, I plan on using Lose it to track calories and streaks (You can check off everyday you do something and it helps you build a streak so when you don't do it one day your streak is broken. Planning on doing that for exercise and calorie counting).

 

Hope everyone had a great memorial day weekend and didn't overdose too much on the bbq =)

Jojo - It seems as if it would be around 272 calories according to my iphone app.

I just wanted to share my success for the past 2 weeks. I have not lost any weight, however i have also not gained any. Last week was finals, sunday was mother's day and yesterday was my 21st birthday. I've worked out everyday and have not gained any weight =). While I would love to have lost weight, I feel like I have hit a plateau. However, I will get over it and keep doing what I'm doing =).

Hi Stone, I did try increasing my calories to about 1,500 along ith exercise. This caused me to gain weight massively =(

Congrats to all! Everyone has been doing so good!!! =)

However I myself need some motivation/advice. I have not lost any this week. In fact I think I might have gained a pound and I really don't know how. I follow the net 1000 daily calorie loss (about 1300 cals a day) and I work out 7 days a week for an hour, cardio and pilates. Not sure what's wrong or what else I should do. Any advice?

Happy Mother's day to all! Thank you for th advice. And Oh my gosh oversix2 if only my body loved me so much to let me lose 3 pounds a week even with overindulging. I already work out daily for an hour and I lose at most 1 pound a week with eating right...but i shall be strong...rawr =)

 

Oh and btw those 5 pounds I gained overnight magically vanished today after not eating late last night and destressing =)

Hello all again.

I am so proud of all of you! You guys have your workout routines together and do it for a good amount good amount of time.

I am calling on my red team buddies for support right now. I am on a 1200 calorie diet which results in about a 1000 calorie deficit each day. I got on the scale today after weighing myself last sunday at 171 lbs. It read 175!  ....yes 175!.. 5 lbs in in 5 days. I don't know, but that seems a bit off to me , or my body just absolutely hates me, These were my calorie numbers this week:

monday - Food: 1565 Exercise 0 - 1,565

tuesday - Food: 1254 Exercise 502 - 752

wednesday - Food: 1586 Exercise 427 - 1,159

Thursday - Food: 1468 Exercise 332 - 1,136

Friday - Food: 2338 Exercise 570 - 1,768

Yesterday I had 3 beers and a glass of wine along with 2 brownies, popcorn, and italian food (eeek lol), but I havent indulged like that in ages...I was celebrating. Could this have cause my sudden spike in weight??? Although I do not believe it is 4 lbs worth! right guys? Ugh feeling de-motivated =(.

 

BTW for the question: When I am at my dorm I do elliptical for about 45 minutes followed by either pilates or weight lifting for 20 minutes (I alternate between the days) 7 days a week.

When I'm at home I jog for 20-30 minutes followed the weight lifting or pilates.
