Hm-mm. It is difficult for a novice such as myself to question a trainer because I know so little. I have no mobility restrictions or joint impingement's - possibly some "whatnot's" |

donnie5150. Thank you for your input. I will talk with the trainer. The exercises with the weights are probably the least challenging at the moment. Some of the core exercises I find gruesome and have such difficulty with a couple of them that I know they are not doing anything. I suppose I just felt things were moving slowly - but I am sure that is the fault of my body and not her training. |

If you entered your weight in the weight log, the burn meter should have decreased. Subtract 500 - 700 from that to determine your new calorie intake. |

I'm an ex-patriot Brit (Scouser) who has lived in Canada since 1973. All accents are interesting and enlightening. I didn't get to watch "Sopranos" on TV so I ended up buying the DVD series from E Bay. Thank God for the subtitle options because I watched the first four episodes with English subtitles until I tuned in to the New Jersey accent! |

I believe it is fresh pineapple that prevents jello from setting. |

I would also suggest when the pup is loose, you can attach a 4' lead to his collar. Let him drag it around the house. When he attempts to jump just stand on the lead. When the pup sits, praise and treat. He will soon realise he gets treats for sitting and nothing for jumping. |

I would suggest crate training. There are many articles on google or elsewhere on how to crate train your dog. Your dog should be in the crate for every moment when you are not able to supervise it. As you can see, this will avoid food being stolen and any other unwanted mishchief. I would also invest in good quality training lessons - not Petsmart - and read as much as you can about positive training methods. Have all the family on board with the same commands and incentives. Squirt bottles and noise cans do nothing to train a dog. Patience, and consistency is the answer. Dogs also need exercise, discipline and training - just like kids. |

Wes. I really enjoyed reading your blogs. The account of your last Ironman was amazing. I felt as if I was there doing it too - without the pain ! I am in awe of anybody who can achieve such feats. Good luck in Augusta this month. |

Thanks for your replies Wes & Fitness girl. That is what I thought. Today was the same scenario as yesterday. I guess it takes awhile to get back to normal after feeling off. |

Yes indeed. When I added 473 (my exercise cals) to 1550 my daily burn, the result was 1960. Therefore cc added 410 calories to my burnmeter. Thanks for the input and help. |

mperic81 - Thank you for that information. I didn't realise. I guess cc does it automatically when you log in one of their preset activities? So now I will subtract 65.41 from the total on my burn meter. Thanks again. |

Antibiotics can cause gastric irritation and a burning sensation in the stomach. Try a liquid antacid and see if that helps the situation. |

Wesmckean - thanks, that really makes sense. I realised I was sweating more than usual and felt weak, even though I had eaten an adequate breakfast. Then I had a light bulb moment and dragged a dehumidifier into the room and saw it registered 98%. Thanks |

Thank you. I will check out the journal you mentioned. My treadmill has all sorts of fancy workouts, but I felt I wanted to keep control and not be defeated by the machine. I have an automatic, "I can;t do that..." mentality ;-) |
