| Weight Loss | I `ve lost faith....:( | Nov 24 2009 21:57 (UTC) |

I am not sure what you have lost faith in. If you are not sticking to the right amount of cals. a day then of course you will not loose. If you mean you have lost faith in yourself, DON'T. It can be done you can do it just like so many other people on here have. Stick to your needed cals, exercise (walk if that is all you can do) and you will loose. It is a slow process and sometimes it can be very frustrating but if you stick with it it will work for you. There is no mirical fix you have to really want it to happen and it will (with hard work and self disipline). Best of luck to you, just get yourself in the right mindset and you can do it, next year at this time you could be down 50 plus pounds! |

Here a couple things to consider. Just because they can eat anything and remain slim does not make them healthy. Plus weight has a way of finding you later in life I know some guys that could eat anything when we were kids but now they gain weight like anyone else. Try to be healthy for your own benefit don't worry what other people are doing. By the way good job at working toward a healthy life at such a young age it will pay off for you in the future |

This turning someones world upside down is just beyond me. Did you know any of these people? I do feel it is a shame about MJ I always feel bad when someone goes before their time but I have things going on with people I do know and care about. Getting all worked up when a stranger dies is beyond me, what will you do when someone close to you dies, crawl into a shell? Sorry if this comes off as harsh but this kind of thinking drives me up a wall. A real good freind of mine and one of the nicest guys you could ever meet died of lung cancer last night (he was 45), he never smoked. My brother and his girlfriend died in a car crash a few years ago he was 23 she was 19. I am sure I am not alone with these terrible things happening all around. My whole point is try to concentrate on the people around you if they matter to you let them know because they may not be there to tell tomorrow. I am sorry if I came off sounding like a jerk. |

| Weight Loss | Ugh. What's a girl with 11 pounds to lose and a crazy life to do? | Jun 18 2009 23:57 (UTC) |

It is all a matter of planning what to buy before going to the store, you can buy healthy food for the same kind of money as junkie prepared stuff. It does take more time but it is worth it because you will feel better quickly once you are eating better food. I have been at it for a couple months and feel alot better already. Don't forget chasing around your little one is exercise! It takes some effort but it is well worth it. |

I know all my friends and family think I am nuts, I talk about my kids more than anything else I am with them all day everyday. What else would I talk about? They are the people I hang out with the most, it is alot better with them anyhow they don't try to stab you in the back or try to dominate a conversation they are also greatful for the littlest things who else starts dancing around when you tell them dinner is ready. |

If you want to get in the best shape ever join the military and do REAL boot camp. You do nothing but run , march and work out. It is hard but the results are unreal. The only bad thing about it was I realized "I am in the army I could be getting shot at" |

| Pregnancy & Parenting | How do I get motivated to exercise and lose weight after having my 3rd child? | Apr 29 2009 02:29 (UTC) |

Half of my work out is following my kids around all day picking up after them, sounds like I am kidding but think of all the bending and walking around you do. I get alittle weight training in 3 times a week a half hour at a time or so usually late at night or really early in the morning. Other than that I take them to the park and try to keep up. Mine are 8, 5 and 4 so if I can keep up with them for 30 minutes or so I feel like I did something. When were all home like yours it was really hard to find the time to do much other than feed them and change diapers but once they were more mobile so was I. |

Hi, I am a 43 year old guy and have been between 185 and 300 my whole adult life. I do mean around I have reach my goals then just did what I want and ended up at the beginning at least 5 times. Here is the one thing I have learned do not deny yourself or eat to little sooner or latter it gets so frustrating you just give up. I also think it helps to know if what you are eating is healthy but not to expect everything you eat to be an A or a B. Good luck |

When you look in the mirror are you happy? Don't trust scales they are a nice guide post but if you feel good and look good you are winning the battle in my book. A number is just that a number. My wife does the same as you she gets a number in her head and that is the goal period. I tell her she looks great but she still gets frustrated because of that damn number. Have a good day and best of luck to you |
