 Why does it matter if you can buy it at a grocery store? I HATE having to go a special store to buy licquor.  It's lame. 

 Thats the reason.  It is to convenient. Pick up bacon, eggs, milk, orange juice, oh don't forget the Vodka. For people who buy occasionally no big deal. Drunkorexia, alcohol comsumption in place of food is topic.

All types of alcohol are sold in grocery stores?? Or is that just a Louisiana thing? In every grocery store, there is a huge alcohol section...hard liquor, wine, beer, you name it.

 In Virginia only beer and wine in grocery stores.  All hard liquor and beer and wine are sold in ABC stores.

Maybe its the gym setting you hate.  You may need to invest in a few free weights, exercise ball (i forgot the real name for it) even a stationary bike.

Hi Selenaraye, Once you have  found out for sure that you are NOT pregnant.  Please don't put yourself through this unnecessary uncertainty.  If you are going to have sex, use protection. And don't depend on him to get it.  And you can still get pregnant without penetration.  Sperm can swim up stream! After you have determined that you are not pregnant ask this same question again. Sorry I couldn't focus on your weight gain.

 Be patient, don't give up!  2 weeks is too early to get discouraged!  At 41 or at any age it is going to take your body sometime to get used to your new routine.  And please eat at the very least 1200 calories.  Keep track of your calories and activity. Use the tools offered on this website! Knowing how much you are eating vs burning is the key!! I'm 45 we are at the best age!!

I usually do use the entire day to have whatever I would like!  But I do make each meal count.  If I am going to do I do it right! Do I eat a whole bag of potato chips? NO. Do I eat a lot of fried oysters, shrimp and stuffed mushrooms? YES!! No donuts for me. Give me a meat lovers omelet with a side order of sausage and wheat toast w/butter and a side order of hash browns.  IHOP here I come!  Then the next day.  Special K / banana/ raisin toast etc! Most of all no regrets!

We have had the grilled chicken several times!! Very tasty!! I wish they would go ahead and remove the skin!  It is tempting to eat it! Sometimes I do!  We get the cole slaw, mashed potatoes/gravy, potato wedges and green beans.  I wish they would just keep those biscuts!  (I eat those the next morning with some jelly!) When you eat at KFC or any other fast foods you can't worry about the sodium/calories/fat etc.  Just eat there in MODERATION!

It would be kind of like the big fish that got away.  You can tell everyone about it but no one would believe you if they hadn't seen it. Losing a lot of weight and gaining it back is unhealthy and discouraging.

So, I think weight lost the wrong way and gained back is for nothing. #1 lost by dieting instead of changing your lifestyle and #2 losing weight to please some one else or just for a special occasion.

When you're in the restroom, while in the stall you can do pushups against the stall door, and you can do squats inside the stall (or pushups on the sink if you can lock the main entrance door!)  Everytime you go do 20 reps of each.(with your pantyhose up or down its up to you!:)

Continue looking for other employment don't wait until you are fired or laid off. (That sounds like it is coming soon!)  Instead of asking for more hours find out why they aren't giving you more hours.  Are you available to work anytime? Are you always requesting weekends off? When they ask you to cover another shift, do you? Look at you see what you can fix. Still I would continue applying  for another job.  And when interviewed do not bash your employer stay positive.

What time of day do you workout? You may need to change up on the time of day that you exercise.  Getting your sleep is more important than excerising! One thing to try, read the bible!  Everytime I read the bible at night I get so sleepy! Satan gets so angry and I can hardly keep my eyes open!  Sweet dreams!

Hi  I'm no expert but adding extra weight that you carry on your back while walking doesn't sound safe. As far as the hand held weights, I think they would be fine to give your upper body some extra resistance while walking.  Although I would probably go to 1.5 or 2 lb weights.

I'm excited for you Kent!  You did it!!  Try easing into those extra 750 calories!  I have 2 more lbs to go till I reach my goal and  I have added 100 to 200 calories more to my intake.  I know it will take me longer to get to my goal but it is keeping me focused and it is really helping this "lifestyle change" stick!  Kudos to you!!
