Be glad you know how they truly are! And be glad they are not related to you. I had a nephew-in-law who overstayed every time he and his large family came to Florida. Finally, my niece divorced him. She was, and is, always welcome. As to how to deal with them? Never ask them to visit again. Don't call them. If they call, be polite but have very short calls and be firm. They do not deserve your friendship. (Lock up your pets???? The nerve! And rearranged your furniture? Even my mother-in-law, a world class nosy, manipulator, did not do that.) |

Enjoy this time. I, too, was always accused of not being old enough to drink, to have children, to vote. Well, I did look younger than I was. Like you, I was thin and had a "baby" face. I can remember my friends in the second grade always making me play the "baby" at recess because I looked so babyish. My oldest son became angry when a waitress asked if he was my brother. But now, I no longer have to ask for the Senior Citizen discounts. I still look younger than some people my age, but now it is a pleasant thing to hear, "You don't look 65!" Time heals all. |

You sound like me, being on a four year journey to get in shape, only I haven't gotten down to 127 lbs.. But I am 5"4" and four years ago weighed 205 (shudder). I, too, still want to loose weight even when other people say I don't need to. I am still overweight though, no matter what people say. When I see a photo of me, I start shuddering again! I am down over 40 pounds, but the flab is still there. My self image is different from the image my friends and relatives see. |

Do not let a boyfriend tell you to lose or gain weight. Listen to your body and do what is best for you. Anytime a male tells a woman she is: a)fat, b) bad hair, c) can't cook, etc.... you get the picture, he is trying to control you. Run for the hills! Been there, done that. |

I routinely eat a 6oz cup of yogurt when I feel as if I am hungry at night. As long as I am within my calorie goal, I am fine. When I start eating the container, well, that is another story. |
