| congrats catherine on ur weight loss so far... keep up the good work. This morning when i got up i was feeling blah because i have stalled after 11lbs... but u have given me the strength to go on... (i was thinking of just eating myself into oblivion today).
ici... good luck to u as u begin ur endeavour. I too have battle my weight my entire life, and must say this site has made it easier than ever for me. 11lbs in 3 weeks, but as stated above have hit a plataue (sp). |

| congrats to all who posted, keep up the good work. It was said before and I want to repeat it... Lose weight for you..... I don't want anyone I am working with to know I have chosen this lifestyle change, cause I know they will watch what i eat like hawks and probably try and feed me much more. One of them said the other day I looked like i had lost weight and was i dieting... I lied and said nope just have on baggy pants today. I have went so far this month that when they put a cupcake on my desk i gave it to someone else to eat for me and then raved about how good it was... i know, pretty trifling of me, but for my sanity and to stay focused that is how it must be..... | |||

| rachael: my sentiments exactly.. Why don't we change time on a friday at like 2pm, so we get an early start on the weekend.. No we have to lose an hour of our weekend... drat.
Jamster: i too live in indiana, where abouts are ya? i am guessing in one of the corners since u are going on eastern time.. dang u lose 2 hrs of your weekend don't u? i thought i heard something about that on the news.. maybe mistaken.. who knows? |

| i have actually had less heartburn since i started dieting on here. I do still get it when i wait to long to eat, but my nighttime heartburn is totally gone. I figure i was overeating and eating wrong thing and my stomach was working overtime to digest the food thus producing more acid. I hope all works well for u | |||

| alexadria... I am in the same boat with u. I am 5'9, but weigh 260 and am trying to get down to 148. Maybe we can help each other out and get thru this with som sanity. I have set my goals in small chunks rather than the whole amount of weight... like 10 lbs at a time. I have lost 5 lbs since starting here on the 25th of feb. | ok, here i am at 265 and hating it. I am as heavy now as i was when i was pregnant with my youngest child ( he is now 8). I never lost the weight after having him. Did get down to 245 or so, but since my wedding (17 months ago) put it all back on. Don't really mind so much how I look ( ok, that's a lie), but more how i feel. Heels hurt, knees and ankles crack, dont have any sex life ( r we allowed to mention that here?). Just need people to talk to that can relate and that hopefully i can help out to. | |||

| hey everyone, i am starting cc today... hope all goes well. I have 148 pounds to lose. I am tried of feeling like crap every single day of my life. Heel hurt, knees crack, just want to sit on the couch and watch t.v. I will need lots of support from this new found site and hopefully one day can give support to someone else. They keep telling me that 40 is the new 20, well believe u me, i felt a heck of a lot better 20 years ago. Anyway thanks for letting me vent and for hopefully finding some new found friendsl. | |||
