Weight Loss Confidence? What is that? May 26 2009

The absolute most important thing I have learned is this, "hating your body will not make it look any better, or make you feel any better."

It really is as simple as eating less and exercising more. It doesn't have to be emotional or consume your life.

You have character, goals, and reason. Don't let your life and all you stand for wind up being insignificant.. (keep in mind this is not an excuse to not lose the weight, it's just a reason to lose the weight and be happy all along instead of only when your 30 pounds lighter.)

Have fun living

Shernandez08,

A good tip that has helped many people, including myself, is to keep a food journal. Since you seem to be heavily working out, you actually might be eating a lot more than you think afterwards.

A food journal is a good way to keep tabs on what you "aim to eat" too. Like if you mentally plan out your meals, you can actually track them and see your progress.

Hope that helps!

Hi madeline! I'm a 20 year old college student and I joined to lose my last 5-10 lbs as well.. right around 110-115 is my goal. You can definitely do it! Keep motivated and think about how far you've come... How did you lose all the weight? It helps to talk about your achievements :)

Best!
