Strength traing is awsome for weightloss, for every pound of muscle you put on you burn about 50 more cals a day doing nothing. gain 10 lbs of muscle and thats 500 more cals burned a day without having to do anything! On top of that you will have something to show off once the fat melts away.

Motivation is overrated, i use willpower. I can will myself to stand up right now as im typing. Just as easily i can will myself to workout. Dont think about it just do it. Set a time that your gonna workout and every day at that time just get up and do it.

Best thing is to work mucles that work together (benchpress works chest and triceps) to save time. So here is what i do.

Day 1: Chest/Triceps

Day 2: Back/Biceps

Day 3: Cardio

Day 4: Legs/ABs

Day 5: Shoulders/Neck (easy day)

Day 6: Cardio

Day 7: Full Rest Day

Health & Support I really really need some help with this, especially night binging (long) May 16 2009

I do the binge at the end of the day thing, its actually a diet, the warrior diet i think its called. Its based on cave people spending all day hunting then finaly eating at the end of the day. I find it easyer and its been working well for me, as i find it easy to not eat till 5 or 6pm. My workouts seem better on an empty stomach aswell.

Still there is one more question remaining that what if the person like me 24yrs old and weight 135 pound with 30 west ,5"9 height or 69 cm. want to gain weight and muscle .What should i do? I am totally vegitarian. can any one pls help me?

There are lot of people out there have tips for overwight but not for under weight .can any one help me with their suggestion and experience?

Well you need to find out what vegitarian foods have alot of protien in them and then try to eat 1.5 grams of protien for every pound of lean body mass (LBM). Then find out how many calories you burn each day and eat more then what you burn. Then lift heavy.

You want to be able to do about 6 reps. By the last set (i do 3 sets of 6 reps), If you can do all 6 reps then the weight is too light, You should only get like 4 or 5 reps in on the last set. The point is to take your mucles to failure so they can repair and grow (like when u break a bone it gets harder and stronger). But if u dont eat enought you wont grow very much.
