I've yet to find a soy cheese that was any good, but the Sour Lean sour cream substitute is fabulous! For soy milk, I think the Silk products are hard to beat. Their coffee creamer is very good. |

| Fitness | *Not enough hours in the day to exercise =/..... | May 27 2009 02:37 (UTC) |

I hear ya! I'm not in school, I'm 42, but the same applies. That's why I only get to have 1,200 calories today. I don't allow myself to go one calorie over if I'm not going to exercise, which I'm too tired to do tonight....but 3,500 calories make a pound of fat, and if I can't exercise, then I only get the 1,200. Sigh! The good side of course is that even without much exercise, I'm still losing weight, nice and steady, just by sticking to that one rule... NO FUN, I know, but it really does work. |

I'm 5'6" and was 140, with a goal of 122. When I got to 122 my tummy still wasn't flat (for some reason I have a very stubborn belly pooch - I always look 3 months pregnant and trust me, I'm NOT! LOL) so now I'm aiming for 115, but it really isn't about a number for me, it's about a flat tummy. |

ktjo you may be right about the nuts, I don't really know about that one. But I've had HUGE improvement by never mixing fruits with other foods, and never having starches like pasta or pizza crust along with meats. Once I made that change, I've never again had any problems with blowing up like a balloon |

But the winner rarely makes it as big, because they get the rotten AI recording contract deal...where is Reuben Stoddard today? This is the best thing that could happen to Adam, now he's free to choose his own label... |

I'll see your rinsing of the burgers and raise you! I've actually BOILED hamburgers before. Yep! It started when my vet suggested I do that to get my finicky dog eating, and boy, did it work. Then I decided to try it myself one day, figuring it would be reduced fat, right? All I can say, is it's not as good eaten as a "burger" - however it's perfectly good for putting in spaghetti sauce, chili, etc. MUCH less greasiness, and it seems to crumble smaller, more easily. |

Take a good quality B vitamin every single day! I can honestly tell a change in my mood and motivation when I've forgotten to take my B vitamins for more than a couple of days. I think of them as my happy pills. |

But if you take a good quality multi-vitamin you would be getting the minimum RDA (and then some) of vitamins and minerals... I take a multi and an Omega 3 capsule each day, so let's say I didn't get enough Vitamin C in my food one day, I'd have still supplemented. |

I used to have this problem until I learned about food combining. For me, following these rules made all the difference!
Eat carbohydrate foods and protein foods at Eat proteins and fats at separate meals. Some Eat proteins and fruits at separate Eat starchy foods and fruits at Eat melons alone. Melons combine with almost no
