Hey Kiddo, if you're under 25 your body is still changing, and one day is nothin'! Unless you've had sex in the last couple of months without condoms then you shouldn't have to worry. Have you changed any habits lately like less/more exercise, BP dosage change or restrictive eating? Are you underweight? There's probably a bunch of reasons for your period to change, but if it's not for any of those reasons then just stock it up to hormones and sleep better tonight :)

Edit - had to add that I meant you are still growing. I'm well aware that women's bodies are constantly changing, lol. Wait til your my age, and your period has a mind of its own :P

Heya, I'm going through the same crap.. . I find that having a cup of tea with a bit of skim milk calms the hunger down, atleast for an hour. It's not a perfect solution, but it helps me. ... I must admit I'm on my 3 cup of tea for this evening though, lol My metabolism has geared up too. Do you find that?

In May I was watching the Biggest Loser (food challenge) and a Dairy Queen blizzard commercial come on. I just got up, drove there, ordered 2 med (didn't want to appear like I'm eating alone), came home and finished both before the weigh-in.

Then it hit me. I had an awful habit/attachment to eating when I'm bored. What a glutton.. . Talk about self-loathing.

Figured once you hit bottom you have no where to go but up - so here I am :)

I bought the 100 cal packs of cookies. .. I can't eat just one. I'll start with two, have one later. .. I'm very fond of kettle corn though, so I'll have to find the snack pack size!

For a decent snack I cut up a pear (or some kind of core fruit), and have it with a cheesetring (60 cals, and I pull off little pieces, making it take 5 minutes to eat, lol) or 2 yoplait yogurts (35 cal each).

I've got a sweet tooth, so I buy white albacore tuna and mix it with yellow mustard and a little manuka honey. It's definately an acquired taste, lol ...

Hey y'all, I had to comment, lol!

I lie to myself everyday - saying that my weight loss solely has to do with how I perceive myself, but in truth it's about proving a point to almost everyone I've ever known. I also am dealing with the reprocussions of an ex-best friend, and all that drama it entails two years after the fact. I hated being the fat cousin, having the fat mom, being the fat wing-man at a bar, having almost exclusively fat friends because I hated the thought of someone comparing my body to a skinney chick's. ..

Anyhow, y'all are pretty funny. .. I like the scrotum comment, lol. . . I hope he went home and cried.

Hey girls. . . I'm a few weeks into this, and I'm a complete binge eater too .. For me it's come down to what I want more. Do I want an unhappy exsistence, or that Snickers? Can I deal with a big homemade salad for lunch, or am I gonna die if I pass by the McDonald's? Am I really too exhausted to go to the gym, or am I just a lazy bum with no conviction?

I hope you all find the conviction and the stamina to stick it out. We all know what's good for us, when we've had enough, and when we haven't done enough. You just gotta remember that the food and drinks only satisfy you for as long as it's on your tongue. A healthy, fit body will satisfy you for the rest of your life.

I found the calorie count the biggest eye opener. I actually found this site after eating McDonald's and being curious as to what I was ingesting. It was gross, lol. I don't always make the right decision now, but atleast my decisions weigh as heavily on my mind as they used to on my hips.

Anyhow, pleased to meet you all! When you're having a rough time of it, talk to someone, let it all out. We're all going through the same struggles :)

I'm not aesthetically inclined, so I probably would just try to grow my nails out :P Trying to do acryllic on yourself? Yikes! lol I know I'd probably do more damage than good. .. If you've got a buddy who can do them for you though, you might be on to a good idea :) Let us know if you decide to do it!

Hey girls - I've never been skinney either, hovering inbetween 200-230 lbs since highschool (atleast 8 years).

What I've done is put pictures of my mother up. She was 130 lbs after having me, before leaving the air force and having 3 more kids. She was as beautiful as I still can be. Now she's 48, 250 lbs, and hates her image. She doesn't like pictures been taking, and she generally just feels old; with all kinds of dreams, but little motivation. I have always been my mother's daughter, and I can't remember either of us being happy withourselves or our lives. Now I feel differently, and maybe if I can change, I can help her.

If family isn't easy for you to find motivation from, then maybe there's something you've always wanted to do - like skydiving, or rollerblading. Maybe make a collage of activities, or places, or clothes that will help you.

And you've always got us :) We're here, and we're going through the same things you are. Good and bad.

I Buy the Golean Crunch, and put 1/4 cup over 2 Yoplait Source Vanilla Tango cups. The yogurts are 35 cals each, and the Crunch is 58 cals per 1/4 cup. All together it's 128 cals, 1g fat, 2.5g protein!!

I love it sooo much - I think I'll have some right now Laughing
