I like apple and cinnamon tea! mmmmmm.

Dunkin Donuts-Hazlenut

3. FAVORITE COFFEE CREAMER/WHITENER IF USED.

I like caramel coffeemate..but I don't use it too often because of all the calories.  

4. FAVORITE ADDITION TO COFFEE/TEA...MAYBE A FLAVORED SYRUP, LEMON JUICE, MILK, ETC.

I think 2% milk in coffee is just divine!

5. FAVORITE CARBONATED DRINK IF APPLICABLE.

I love diet coke..but I try to only drink it once a week.  

6. FAVORITE FRUITY DRINK.

cran-grape juice is wonderful!

7. FAVORITE KIND OF MILK. BRAND/FLAVOR/ETC.

I like silk plain flavored soymilk!

8. FAVORITE COFFEE SHOP?

probably dunkin donuts. they seriously have the best coffee ever!

water.  I love love love coffee, but if i eat food with coffee, i can hardly taste what i'm eating.

water or unsweetened iced tea!

i love a nice warm decaf coffee with milk! and i try to chug some water throughout the night

I totally feel you.  When it's cold outside, I just want to eat eat eat and not exercise!  What I've been trying to do is stay active for as long as I can during the day, because once I go home--it's usually over from there..sweatpants and FOOD for the rest of the night :)

What I can say has been working is to put your sweatshirt in the dryer!  I'm seriously always cold, and I'll put it in there for a few minutes, so its a way to warmup without eating!

Coffee/Tea is always a great low calorie way to stay warm too.  I bought some apple cinnamon herbal tea:   sooo good and zero calories!

As far as snacks go, soup is a great option, just be careful to look for sodium!  Amy's brand has some pretty good low sodium soups!  Oatmeal is always warm and yummy, and I'm a huge fan of slicing an apple with a little bit of cinnamon, and microwaving it for a few minutes. so good. and soooo WARM!

Thanks guys! It's good to know I'm not alone.

 noriita, I can definitely agree with you on the food thing as well.  I don't understand how choosing not to gorge my face with pizza and nachos makes my friends mad?  I love being healthy, and I know that eating that sort of food ALL the time doesn't make my body feel good. 

And gi-jane, the tonic water sounds like an excellent idea!  you are totally right..as long as you look like you're drinking, nobody will give you a hard time!

what's your favorite breakfast food?:  Oatmeal! 

when is your favorite time to eat cereal (breakfast, snack, etc)?:  I love cereal right after I get home.  So around 4:00. 

do you prefer hot or cold cereal?

what liquid do you use to cook your oatmeal?: water

what's your favorite topping to add to oatmeal?: i add cinnamon and occasionally a splenda packet. 

what kind of milk did you grow up drinking, and what kind do you drink now?: i grew up drinking skim milk but now I drink soy

what's your favorite pastry?: botston cream donut, dunkin donuts.

egg yolks or egg whites?: whites all the way.

what's your favorite spice?: oregano

do you think you consume too much sodium?: actually i think i'm pretty dang good at not doing so!

how much water do you drink a day?: around 16 cups

name a recipe you want to find a healthier version of:  any kind of cookies.

do you watch the food network? if so, who's your favorite food network star?: i'm a rachel ray fan

what's your favorite fruit to eat frozen?: none. i don't like cold teeth!

what kind of bread do you buy?: i don't really buy bread.  but if i order it its wheat.  

do you think you lack any vitamins/nutrients? if so, what ones?: definitely iron and any other nutrients you get from meat eating.

do you like spicy food?: mildly spicy

what about sour food?: no. i threw up at ihop because i was having a lemon sucking contest and couldn't stand the sour.

when buying yogurt (if you buy yogurt, that is), what kind of things do you look for in the nutrition panel?: nonfat greek yogurt, or lowfat kefir. 

name a food/drink you're getting tired of: i can't think of anything at the moment.

name a food/drink you're eager to try: the halloween cupcakes my roommies and i are baking. 

name a food/drink you haven't had in a very long time: spaghetti

how many calories do you have left for the day?: around 500

what do you plan on doing with those leftover calories?:  eat dinner duhh! probably a strawberry spinach salad and dressing and some steamed vegetables. and maybe something yummy for dessert!

what's your favorite sandwich filling?: peanut butter.

what's your favorite pasta dish?: plain old spaghetti!

are you craving anything right now? if so, what?: anything high fat high calorie, high sugar would be great.  mmmm. like a snickers bar. or maybe even a piece of pizza. oh goodness.

I've eaten an entire watermelon!  We cut it up because we were having guests over.  Too bad they didn't get to have any! I ate the whole thing in the course of a few hours, and vomited the entire night. I haven't wanted watermelon since--but it is in fact possible.  :)

Eggs - Scrambled, sunny-side up, or boiled?  ehh, not to big into eggs, but eggwhite omelet if i must. 

Potato - Fried, baked, roasted, or mashed?  baked with sour cream and cheese on top!

Berries - Frozen, fresh/raw, dried, or cooked/pureed?  totally fresh please.

Tomatoes - Stewed, paste, raw, or juice?  raw, and i usually eat them like an apple haha.

Beans - Soup/chili, salad, or as a dip?  how about salsa..yummm.

Corn - Whole kernel, creamed, or as a flour (ie tortillas, cornbread)?  i love pocorn!

Cheese - As sauce, in salad, or with fruit?  I like it plain, with crackers sometimes. 

Meat - Lunchmeat, main course, side dish, or salad?  none, i'm veg! :)

Nuts - On salads, stir-fries, desserts/snacks, or as butters?  peanut butter=<3

Green veggies - in pasta, cooked as a side dish, or in salads? if its spinach then in  salad.  anything else boiled.

Carrots - Raw, cooked, or in dessert? cooked!

Milk - Pudding, smoothies, or by itself? soymilk, with cereal!

Rice - On its own, in desserts, in soups?  only with Chinese food. 

Fish - Steamed, grilled/broiled, in soup, or raw?  i'm a vegetarian

Oats - Oatmeal, baked goods, or granola?  Oatmeal is my favorite!

I have this terrible problem where I can pretty much binge on anything. haha.

 

My main ones..

 

Peanut Butter-I don't think it's physically possible to just have 2 tablespoons. I usually have around 6 or 8 without even realizing it.

Chocolate-in the form of cookies, brownies, candy bar, chocolate chips. ah. I love it.  Too bad I gave up sweets for lent! :/

Oatmeal/cereal-I love cereal and oatmeal. I love to mix different cereals and put dry oatmeal on top. soooo sooo good

I can't think of the last time i didn't have it, so i'm guessing everyday! :)

2) what's your favorite way to eat chocolate? (on it's own, in baked goods, ice cream, etc):

pretty much all chocolate is good, but i'm known to love a good candy bar!

Ice cream...i don't like it that much.

today, like 2 hours ago, a chocolate chip cookie

chocolate and peanut butter is an amazing combo

I like 3 musketeers, hersheys classic, snickers, and twix. but 3 musketeers the best

almond joy. or mounds. ew.

i buy birdseye steamfresh "garlic cauliflower" All i do is put the bag in the microwave! after the cauliflower is cooked i add some skim milk and a bit of onion into the blender. It is amazing!!!
