i focus on my protein. if i get 20-25% protein my carbs seem to stay on track. whey protein shakes at 20-ish g protein each help alot if you just cant eat lots of meat and dairy.

i do because my daily goal is to limit my carbs to 50 to 60 % of my calorie intake - the analysis tool rocks but only if you are kinda OCD about logging everything lol

you didnt mention water - are you good about that? takes awhile to teach your body to drink as much as is recommended.

do you drink soft drinks? if so, maybe cut them out. make 1 little change in a daily calorie intake pattern or try getting right with yourself on your water intake if you arent.

change ur exercise routines. introduce the element of surprise. i.e. hiit instead of a constant speed walk/run. your body gets used to the same old same old. maybe try a different activity. change it up! even if you just change up the timing of your reps when you lift, its still introducing new things your body needs to react to. arnold taught us that.

last 5 are hardest! you gotta really want it!

my thyroid totally threw a monkey wrench in my weight maintenance. i was very active before i was diagnosed as hypo but had been steadily gaining weight anyways. took awhile to get everything balanced and get the weight back off but it can be done. thyroid imbalance can make things a little tricky. be patient and you will figure out what works for you. good luck!

maybe ur body is craving carbs? u need them for energy! if u focus on getting enuf protein ur carbs will not dominate ur diet. just a thot.

that sux! just make sure you dont skip any of your prescribed dosage - even if you have to pay the $3 for each pill. you will get killer side effects and it will be worth the $$ to avoid those. just google lexapro withdrawal...focus on getting a new supply first! maybe your insurance will reimburse later. good luck!
