Motivation Losing motivation, feeling depressed... Jul 06 2009

Great job on the weight loss!

At this point you should focus on maintaining weight.  Maintaining weight means exercising about thirty minutes a day and eating about a 2,000 calorie diet.  That's about the two things you need to do.  Remember you don't have to do all your thirty minutes at once and it doesn't have to be running around on an elliptical either.

Good luck!

Haha awesome with losing another pound in the morning.

By the way, going to the loo is not TMI, now if you said something like going to the sh***er then yeah that might be something, haha.

Keep at it, you said it yourself you're probably gaining muscle (swimming can do that).  In theory, you might be burning calories slower because it's warmer water so I suggest keeping a water bottle with cold water at the edge of your pool to keep yourself hydrated and cool down your system.  Cheer up, when you do start losing weight you will start to lose it pretty fast because all that muscle is bringing up your metabolism.  Good luck!

I am twenty years old, used to weigh about 260 and have lost about twenty two pounds thus far.  My goal is actually be at 175 (I might go lower though after I reach it).  This means I am planning to lose about eighty five pounds!

How is it that you used to be able to eat 1800 calories a day and now you can't get to 1200?

It's pretty common when you start to eat less than your usually caloric intake you don't feel as hungry for awhile.  I don't know why but I had the same issue.

Also my ultimate TTOM sundae! Take 1/2 of a tbsp of better n butter and put it in the bottom of a bowl. then add 1/2 of 1/3 cup of low cal vanilla. then put 1 tbsp of sugar free chocoalte syrup and 2 crushed mini pretzels on it. then topwith rest of ice cream, peanutbutter, 1 more tbsp of said syrup and 2 more crushed pretzels. This sundae is 165 calories

THAT SOUNDS AMAZING!!!!  And only 165 calories?  *adds to recipe book*

I LOVE THE YOPLAIT YOGURT!  I almost find it better than ice cream.  I am a big fan of the light yougurts whether it's a fruit yougurt (which is 100 calories) or the indulgent flavors (which is 110 calories).  Yogurt is great because it has bacteria that helps with your digestive system and it has lots of calcium and Vitamin D.  I totally would try it.  Also I like grapes, strawberries, and blueberries.  :)  Any questions feel free to message me.
