Sondra...I agree with you 100%!!! I too hate to exercise and am just dieting for the most part. Unfortunately I have to exercise because my goal is to lose the keg I'm carrying in the belly area. That's not going to go away by just eating right. I too feel great. I am a firefighter so I benefit from the workouts but still hate to do it. I do think its great though that you are where you want to be. What you did worked for you. Congratulations!!!!!!! |

| Weight Loss | Lipton Green Tea To Go? | Jun 26 2009 19:09 (UTC) |

I personally have tried, and really liked, the Sobi Lean Green Tea. It's ready made and in a glass bottle. 0 calories, little sugar, and it does wonders for my metabolism and energy level. But you want to make sure you get the "Lean". The regular green tea has I think 100 calories in it and the sugar level is much higher. |

Boy did I mess up last night. Went to go visit with my wife's maid of honor from our wedding and her husband. Haven't seen thim in almost 15 years. We had a great time...but I ate things that I shouldn't have. I had three pieces of pizza, along with 2 cocktails. I did use Diet Coke in my drink vs the great tasting regular Coke. But when I got home, I stept on my scale before I got into bed, like I usually do, and found that I went UP 2 pounds. I was very discouraged. But I had such a good time. And...OMG did that pizza taste good!!!!!!!! I'm getting back on track today. Gonna watch what I eat today and definately get down to the station to work out tonight. Maybe I can get that two pounds, and then some, off again. UGH!!!!! |

It sounds like it all comes down to one word.....WILLPOWER! I had the same problem when I would get home from work. I sit for my job so when i get home, I used to munch, munch, munch. Since I joined this website, I just started watching the calories. There are a lot of great 100 or less snacks out there that both taste good and are filling. I know people say counting calories is a pain in the ass. But at this point, I actually enjoy it because I see the results. In regards to what 86bg reply....salad will fill you if you add somethings to do just that. I've heard that you shouldn't eat bread if you're on a diet. I have two slices (without anything on it) of 100% whole wheat bread with my salad and it does the trick. Try that. Good luck to you....keep us posted on how ya doin. Ken |
