I have suffered from the same symptoms and determined mine was related to my intollerance for fried/ greasy foods.  My stomach was so bloated earlier this week that I had to take the "d" word.... Dulcolax.  It helped though. Plus drink plenty of water.   I just need to come to the fact that as much as I loved fried chicken and pork chops...they no longer love me!!

Hang in there.  I was right where you are last week.  It was a week from HADES!! I craved everything that you could imagine and ate it too!! But then I with the help of folks here at CC I realized that I was excessively depriving myself to the point that when I "binged" my body was just craving needed calories and that my food choices were just wrong.  Food choices is the main thing.  Somehow I didn't gain any weight Thank God...but I didn't lose either!!  Since it sounds like you are a great cook it might just be finding ways to alter recipies where you can still get the enjoyment of great food just with healthier ingredients.  You may/ or may not lose the 10 pds before March 1st but like a earlier post stated that this is a lifestyle change.  Wether or not you make the deadline isn't as important as how you live your life.  You have many very important dates this month.  Go to the Spa, get a day of beauty at the Salon, go buy a fabulous outfit.  If you know you are going to dinner decide on the restaurant ahead of time and do some research so that you will have an idea of what is the best, healthiest and tastiest for you before you even get there.  So you can enjoy yourself without the guilt.  This too shall pass!!  YOU CAN DO IT!!

Your right I think that I probably need raise it some.  Since I have been able to lose using 1200 I have been fearful of halting my progress if I go to far over.  I always eat atleast 1200 but when I use almost all my calories by lunch I know it is not a good thing. It just seems that lately the food choices that I have made have been junk.  Thanks for the suggestion on ways to limit my access to getting to much of "a good thing."  I am a mother of 3 and my daughter had to take a "HERSHEY" recipie for a marketing project and that is why I had a double chocolate cake at hand.  I just think I have denying myself a little to excessively and going buck wild because of it.

I just started taking it myself.  I have the Organic unrefined. You take 1 tbs before every meal.  It is the most tastless thing I have ever had. It's like eating Crisco but my husband wanted to give it  a try.  It is also suppose to help with Cholesterol and boosting your immune system.  I was just curious if anyone had tried it.  I hope it helps me!  It is 125 calories per tablespoon though.  I could think of alot more that I could do with 125 calories. (smile)

luvs,

I have a 15 year old daughter that has the same delimma as you except she is about 2" shorter.  I found that the the plus sizes in the girls section at JCPenny is the best place to get her jeans.   Zena and Arizona make a good plus size girls jean.  There are up to date cute styles and have a better cut and compliment your young curvy shapes better.  Congratulations on your weight loss.  Don't rush it though.  Your body is still developing and changing and you don't want to hinder its natural progress.  Don't be depressed because others haven't noticed.  Remember you are doing this for you.  Don't base how you feel on how others feel about you.  Get excited about your own progress.  Soon they'll see and if nothing else your energy level will improve and they will enjoy having you around to do more.  Enjoy being a teenager!!

Health & Support fear of diabetes, please keep me in your prayers. Mar 19 2007

Make an appointment to see you doctor and take care of yourself.  I was recently diagnosed with high blood pressure.  I was negligent in having some test done in December that my doctor had requested.  About two weeks ago my blood pressure had reached 173/115 when the norm is 120/80.  I had been having headaches and felt tingly and faint.  My husband rushed me to the hospital and they said I could have had a stroke.  I am 38 years old.  I don't know why I didn't want to have the test done.  I just didn't.  I felt really terrible that if I had taken the test months ago I could have avoided all that.  I owe it to myself and family to take care of myself.  I am on medicine but will hope that by changing my diet that I will be able to control it.  I too took the diabetes test because it runs prevelant in my family but I won't have that and my cholesterol test back for another week.  Please go get checked.  You are worth it.

Great!!  You're like me, portion control is something I have never been able to grasp.  Thank God for prepack!! :)  I have a friend that used the Weight Watches system and she lost 25 pds in about 3 1/2 months.  Now she is trying to maintain and she said so far it is easier than she thought it would be.  It seems like a good program.  That is what alot of people forget.  We look for quick fixes but we didn't gain the weight quick.  Plus the key point is maintenance and making sure that we retrain our brain to eat healthy.  Sounds like your off to a great start!!  I have added you as a friend.

Take it from someone who tried to work thru the same think last week...don't!  Your body is crying out for rest.  If I had rested like I should have what should have taken a day or two to run through my system took over a week.  Still coughing!   Continue to drink fluids do what you HAVE to do then go home and go to bed.  You don't need motiviation you need rest.  No one has time to be sick but if you don't rest willingly your body will shut down on you if your not careful.  I hope you feel better soon!!

Well it looks like my beginner running program just slowed down.  I found out I have high blood pressure so my doc wants me to to only do moderate walking for a while to monitor my heart rate.  That is fine but I hope I am not setting myself back to far.  I just get a good 30 min. in.

Thank txgirlygirl!  My prayers are with you and your family.  My husband is active duty airforce and can retire in September.  He originally wanted to do 22 years but since with the war reenlistment could be a crazy thing to do right now.  Anyway, I hope it works out for you all.

I am really having a hard time controlling my breathing.  Anyone have any suggestions or places that I can look to get some information?

I have this exact same problem.  I also weigh 140 and can't seem to break the into the 130's.   I however had become frustrated and pretty much given up because after 3 weeks it became very frustrating.  I started counting calories again last week and I am hoping that I will be able to be more sucessful this time.  I think I had hit a plateau.  I am getting appox 1200 a day and just started the couch to 5k running program.  My goal weight is 125.

Thanks.  I'll use...moderation!!  I am glad to hear that the calorie content is less than what I thought.  I use to get the cookies from Subway the white chunk macadamia nut ones....the calorie content was almost as much as a sandwich.  I had to leave them alone and quick!!  Life would be so much easier without my fondness for sugar but...not as sweet!! :)
