Keep hydrated, water water water...WATER!!! i can't tell you enough..also weight training helps a lot too.. If your only doing cardio workouts then you will have loose skin, toning your muscles is essential to preventing loose skin.. also vitamin E is really good for skin, if you keep hydrated and take care of your skin then it should start following your weightloss shortly

also if your losing weight way too fast then you aren't giving your skin enough time to catch up with you

2-3 pounds a week is good and will let your skin keep up

good luck! and grats!

usually sticking to one scale works best, I had the same incident happen to me, my home scale differs from what the PP said

but a pound is a pound, if your home scale is constant and a week later you've dropped 2 pounds then YAY your 2 pounds less you know?

Join the club! I'm having the same problem too

I started eating "Flax seeds" well, flax cereal that is, it has helped me A LOT, you can find it in the cereal isle, not all of it is good tasting so try a couple different brands!

Good luck!

Weight Loss scale issues! Jun 16 2009

I've been struggling with weight all my life, when i was 15 i used to weigh myself 35 times a week... so it would fluctuate throughout the day all the time

the best thing to do is weigh ONCE a week, at the same time every time

keep in mind too that 3500 calories equals a pound, so if you cut 500 calories from lets say a 2000 calorie diet then in one week you would lose a pound

I think your scale is probably pretty acurate. MINE IS SERIOUSLY messed up, i got on yesterday and it said one thing, then a week later it was almost 40 pounds less...now, my heart fluttered in excitement but i weighed again a couple hours later and it was like 10 pounds over, so who knows? haha time to invest in a decent scale
