| wow! I just started this on april 30..im on my third day...I AM SORE!
I work out for almost 2 hours at the gym everyday ..on various cardio machines and NOTHING compares to the burn I felt with this in just 20 minutes. I guess less sometimes is more?! So .like tracy, i'm going to do level 1 for 10 days, level 2 for 10 days and level 3 for 10 days, and see where i'm at when thats over. I cant imagine I wont be shredded ( unless I eat 5000 calories a day or something) yay for jillian! |

| try cutting out foods that boost testosterone levels, like peanut butter, nuts and high glycemic carbs. All of us, well most of us, are blessed with the lovely peach fuzz but if its starting to grow in thicker, coarser or darker, it probably has something to do with your hormones. you can always get rid of it by way of nair, laser, electrolysis, etc. but its best to find out why its changing in the first place. I say, no offense because you aren't significantly overweight, try loosing 10 or so lbs. you will be amazed on the difference it has in your hormones, make sure you are eating a very healthful and balanced diet including lean proteins, complex carbs, and lots of veggies and fruits. cut out processed items too. I bet if you try all this, your fuzz will no longer come in dark. but the problem is getting rid of the already dark fuzz..nair!

| i have this - sometimes doctors call it a buffalo hump which is a fatty deposit at the top of your spine, but mines not fat its bony, alot of times people with certain disorders like cushings or pcos will get this fatty deposit due to the excess cortisol production in their body which places fat in abnormal areas. but like i said, mine isnt fat and i've actually had it since i was really young, like younger than 10 i'd say. my dad has it and do does everyone on his side of the fam. lately though, it has been hurting me, so im kind of thinking about going to the doc and getting a mri or catscan of my spine to see if something more serious is going on, can't hurt right? i am a professional hypochondriac though, so i'm not sure my dr will go along with this but, i'm giving it a try.

| ok my question is...if I continue working out and eating healthy ..can I still gain? I have heard that it doesn't matter if you eat less or more healthy than before you were on it..your body act differently and you gain weight. I know it affects the hormones and your metab. but if I decrease my calories..wont that be sufficient to not gain? | |||

i LOVE to workout..love love love.. i get moody if I miss a workout. I probably overtrain but..its addicting and its better than doing drugs..now isnt it. |

| i have low blood pressure also...my doctor didnt seem too worried when she saw this though. Its not uncommon for very atheltic and anorexic/bulemic folk to have a low Bp..i'm not anorexic or bulemic by any means but I work out intensely 7 days a weak for at least 1hr so ..it does lower bp.
i wouldnt worry too much about it. just be sure shes taking in adequate nutrition. |

| eat small meals throughout your day and stop eating at 5 pm. and make sure each meal has a small amount of complex carbs, protein and some veggie or fruit. its not hard to do and if you stop eating at 4 or 5, depending on when you go to bed, you will probably have that hungry feeling you love. you arent helping yourself by only eating breakfast, thats not smart. | |||

I have always been told that using the incline on the treadmill will make your butt stronger and lift it. Now, if you butt is mostly fat, the treadmill will make the underlying muscle stronger and probably give it a better shape but I do not believe it will make it smaller. God I hope it doesnt bc I use the incline everyday in hope of making my small butt ..well...bigger, and who knows it its doing anything but hopefully, it can't hurt.
i would suggest jogging or even running to lean out the legs and preserve the butt. jogging overall is such a great workout and it gets the legs in tip top shape. |

| atticchair- did you stop jogging for a week or stopped working out all together for a week, bc obviously--i'm not joggin on it but i am still using the elliptical bc i keep my feet flat and it does not hurt at all to use that machine..
hope i'm not hurtin myself here.. |

I used to be an elliptical chick but i did it for years and my body never changed, so I started jogging and thank god i did bc i'm finally noticing some change! |

| oh boy...
I. my friend...am the queen of complaining when it comes to my butt. its flat and small and i HATE IT. my entire family has the same rear and it saddens me. but i am trying to do squats with a barbell every other day, along with about 3 miles a day jogging ( sometimes on an incline sometimes not, depends on if i feel up to it.) i do the stairmaster too and lunges with dumbells. i've been doing this for a few weeks and i can say i have seen a little improvement shape wise but i defintiely have no bootay yet. try some deadlifts and squats for a good month and keep staring at your butt till you see some results! |

| i love the harshness haha, its so true though..
so many people post here complaining about eating one too many handfuls of popcorn or something retarded like that.. ( sorry if I offend someone during this rant) and it really irks me. dont call it a binge because its just not a binge. If you were a literal binge eater ( and I am. well, recovering ) you would get pissed off at a comment like that. you cant control your binging. its just something that happens, repeatedly. and it sucks but you can overcome it if you really really try. but my point is this..maybe people should a) stop posting about a woe of binging unless you ate 5 pizzas and a cake by yourself in 2 hours. OR go to some pro-ana site so they can tell you what to do. this site is truly helpful and everyone who contributes to it is helpful but its not comforting when people post about eating a few hundred cals over and start crying about because if you really understood calorie counting and the science behind it..you wouldnt worry because you knew you'd be alright and tomorrow is a new day to (not starve yourself) but get on the right track. |

| I use the stair master alot, in hopes of creating some sort of shape to my flat rear...
i have really toned legs already so I don't know if the stairmaster encouraged this or not... but im sure it doesnt hurt in creating nice legs |
