Health & Support after anorexia.recovery question! help(: Nov 24 2009

thanks. loads.

my mental health has improved tremendously. when my doctor tells me i have gained weight i sort of dont really care. i just want to get back everything..so gaining weight really doesnt affect me..

what affects me most is that i may not looked like how i did pre-ed... so hopefully gaining to my set point will be enough.. really regret being anorexic.bleh

anyways. pre-ed i used to have  high metabolism and was the kind of girl who never could keep her mouth shut. i ate alot but never seemed to gain weight so that may be a contributing factor to why im desperate to get back to where i was. thanks for everyones contribution! muacksss<3<3

i was 41kgs..but my weight already went up to 46kg-48kg. i think asians somehow our bmi is lower. like 18.5 is acceptable so thats why my doctor says 46.8kg minimum... my friends are all around 46kg+ -. alot of people i know who used to be anorexic never seemed to get back their figure... which is why im quite upset and desperate...

3 soft bake double chocolate cookies(big)
1 bowl cereal
1 cup yogurt

my usual binges are

9 chipsmores
14 chocolate brownies

erm sorry i have further questions! please help!

1) what if i have been taking alot of chocolate biscuits (empty calories)?

2) before anorexia i was rather muscular and had high metabolism. after i recover will be metabolism revert back to what it was previously? or higher or lower?

3) should i straight away eat A 3000-5000 calorie diet to boost my metabolism or should i increase my calorie intake slowly?

4) does eating food in high fat content make you fatter than eating carbs and protein?

5) sometimes i feel like eating although i'm not even hungry and i start eating alot at one go (2000-3000 calories in 1hr?) is this normal? will it cause weight gain?

THANKS alot(:
