| I know what you mean, I?ve got the same issue, I?m just wearing a different ring for now, the real (& I?m sure frighteningly expensive ones) as at home in a pretty box, it?s going to be part of the reaching target things to get them resized, as although I know it doesn?t cost much, I don?t want to have to do it many times. So at the moment I?ve got a £5 silver ring which I?m not that bothered if I loose. I do want to ware a ring, so this gives me the best of both worlds! | |||

I?m not fantastic with emotions so I?m going for the other half of the post, the crying & physical aspect of it all. Firstly if your crying lots you need to drink lots of water. Secondly if you?re crying lots you?re probably on your own in your room, on or in bed. Don?t forget that as well as the emotional strain your changing your bodies routine. If you?ve been doing exercise then do exercise, I always favour dancing to loud shouting music in this situation.
Bet you?ve got a head ache as well? Try a long hot shower, if its day time try a ?mint & tea tree? shower gel or equivalent (assuming you?re not allergic). If it is near time for bed try something with lavender. Crying in the shower is fine, it fact your face doesn?t go puffy. I would guess part of the reason you feel so bad is that you?re body if under a lot of strain, if you sort that you should be able to think clearer. This won?t make it all go away. The situation will still be rubbish, you?ll still be upset, but you?ll be able to think about it in a better frame of mind. Sorry to be all practical, but the only thing you can change short term are those which relate to you. |

| Fitness | Turbo Jam or Tae Bo??? | Jun 14 2006 22:25 (UTC) |

| I walked (ran) in to a wall in an aerobics class, in my defence it was a mirror, so intent on watching the teacher & not hitting other people in the class that I was outsmarted by an inanimate object! Now that hurt.
I do the ?Aerobics Oz Style Belly Dance DVD? (called something like that), it?s not to jarring on joints but it?s good for toning, plus belly dancing is fun & not to much coordination needed. |

| Vegetarian | Why are you vegetarian? | Jun 09 2006 20:00 (UTC) |

| I became vegetarian because I didn?t want to course things to die when I didn?t have to, so no meat, fish, or chicken. Have no issue with other people eating meat. Don?t like factory farming much, have my own chickens & try to grow my own food. I do eat dairy, was vegan for a bit for medical reasons, didn?t like that much. I try to avoid gelatine & other hidden animal derivatives. Have you every tried finding a vegetarian beer? It?s a bit difficult when I go out or at new places but it?s my choice, I can it meat, I choose not to. | |||

| Thanks all, I work it in to my cals, although the % are a bit dodgy on a bad day, (but then do we really need protein everyday?!?). Most days I don't have any (longest has been 2 months), it's just stopping once I've started! (we can't take any of the free stuff off site thank goodness).
I've tried the gum idea (we get that as well, although translating the ingredients in to English can be fun sometimes). It's more for stopping after the "Try this, it's new/foreign/different" moments, where it's hard/impolitic to say no. Note for Iayna - the whole office/building/area smells of chocolate the whole time! |

| Well I like Bill Hicks when I'm grumpy & Bill Bailey when I'm not.
For films/TV it would be Shaun Of The Dead, Black Books & Spaced. Having said that all save Bill Hicks are British so may not be know out there. |

| I'm having a grumpy day too, I've been sick & I'm not better, my husband is away with business & it's all going horribly wrong.
Blah Blah Blah! At the moment I want to sit, watch rubbish TV & eat bad for me food. So at least you're not alone in your need to rant! |

| Weight Loss | I Want A Cool Name | Apr 28 2006 18:00 (UTC) |

| I thought as it is an important part of the name as it is the word for white in the welsh language it was worth mentioning, but maybe that?s a cultural thing. After all, when looking for your own name you should be sure of what it means.
How did everyone come by the names they are using now? |

| Hello, new to the site.
With the name above it could also be translated as white Mary (which may be a cocktail) wen being the white bit (white, fair, blessed), hence the welsh names BLODWEN - white flowers BRONWEN - white breast and my personal favourite EIRWEN - snow white, which is also my grandmothers name Welsh has some cool names to plunder! Having said that hardly anyone can say them properly, less of an issue on the internet. |
