Sounds like a great gay porn setup:

Some army-type bearish guy starts shouting up a town hall meeting, waving a gun, causing the broad-shouldered congressman to whip off his jacket, jump out from behind the podium, and wrestle him to the ground. Shirts are torn off in the process, and the grunts of their combat soon take on a different tone... The smooth-chinned young liberal finds himself kissing the stubbly, impassioned face of his foe...

And "shoving healthcare reform up Americans' asses" suddenly takes on a much more literal meaning...

(Sorry, hadda go there)

*fans herself*

oh my!  Did it just get really warm in here, or is it just me??

Hahaha suddenly I'm excited about politics again! ;)

Running. I think of jogging as 4.1-5.5... but who cares! That guy/girl at the gym is just an insecure idiot who wants to feel better about themselves by making you feel bad.

Change up your workout routine. Over time your body gets used to the same workouts and burns less calories. Mix in lifting or some other type of exercise and see if that helps.

Pregnancy & Parenting Paraguard IUD vs. Mirena IUS Aug 06 2009

Original Post by roo_the_roo:

I used the Paraguard for 3 years and had it out last July to start trying to conceive.  I was pregnant within 3 months of having it removed.  I had my baby 3 weeks ago and am going to get the Paraguard again in the future.  I loved it.  I didn't want to use anything hormonal because I haven't had the best experiences in the past.  I remember health classes too from high school and they made the IUD seem like such a scary option but my midwife told me that they are the most widely used form of birth control worldwide.  I had slightly heavier periods but no increased cramping.

Ha I heard the same thing in health class and was terrified of IUDs, then I went on the pill and had the most horrific experiences ie hair loss, depression, and mood swings. It was at that moment I realized that it is far more unnatural to take artificial hormones than to have a little piece of copper.

There is a string that hangs down into the vagina

I meant that he could feel this, it's a sharp metal wire. The Mirena isn't made of copper, it's a flexible plastic. I'm thinking about having it removed if I don't stop spotting soon. It's driving me insane.

Go to your GYN asap! Nothing sharp or pokey should be hanging out. If there is that means your IUD is out of place and may not work properly!!

I would like to participate in this challenge too! I've been trying to eat cleanly most of the time (except weekends) and I think this challenge is exactly what I need!

Can today be my start date? I've started the day off well.  Thanks!

About me: I'm 23 years old, 5'10", and weigh between 154.5 and 157.5. I'm having my measurements taken for my wedding dress in 2 weeks and am really stressed about it. When I get stressed I turn to unhealthy foods which is extremely unhelpful!

Wow he sounds like real winner.

^ A size 12 is not fat. That article shows a picture of a size 12 model. I know, what a cow (joking). It depends on how you're shaped. 12 doesn't equal fat. Hell, if someone's short, a size six can look chunky on them.

Anyways, my perfect body canidate? Behka. She's a korean singer, so I'm sure no one knows her, but I think she has a wonderful body. She's "fat" by korean standards, but who isn't fat these days. :/

EDIT: More "fat" 12 size models.

I'm pretty sure all those women are size 12 UK, NOT US.  That means they are size 8 here...

I don't know about the first one (if she's UK or not), but the second one could be, but the last one is an american model. So she's most certainly a size 12. :)

And not fat. Lol. The the only point I'm trying to make is that a size 12 doesn't always equal fat. :0

yeah the first one is def. uk, look in the web address. the bottom two are firstly airbrushed like crazy. the bottom one is the antm winner, go look at other pics of her, she's disgusting. in candid photos where she's not airbrushed you can see not only is she fat but she's untoned. if your going to be a plus size model at least have some tone.

so yeah you've only proved my point that your "perfect bodies" are a size 8 max.

Umm... your point is moot. All models are airbrushed and nearly all editorial photos are airbrushed. So these "perfect bodies" are not real. None of them... not the 00s or the 8s or even the 12s are real. You are thinking of every reason to bash on a size 12. Why?

yeah, the sizes shown are UK sizes so -4 for the american equivilant. as for marilyn monroe being a size 16, it is actually estimated to be more of a 12, not to mention if you include vanity sizing over the years shes about a size 6-8 in todays american sizes. sorry if i burst ur bubble, marilyn was not fat and yes a size 12-16 is fat deal with it.

A size 12 is not fat! What an ignorant thing to say! It's all relative to height, hip width, ect. I have some female volleyball friends who are very in shape and 6'2". Some of them wear a 12 but definitely are NOT fat. It's all relative deal with it.

Hey tofu_monkey we have almost the same stats (23 years old, 5'10", weigh 155) and I know how you feel! Don't worry about inches and lbs gained in the first week or so of exercise. It is water retention due to your muscle swelling. Also, 1200 is way too low! I have tried to eat 1200 in the past but just end up binging because I'm basically starving. Try to eat at least 1500. That is still low but enough to keep me satisfied. We are tall and need more energy than the shorter girls. Hang in there!

that's weird - I'm a little girl, but the guys at my gym are polite and always ask if i want to work in.  Maybe because its my regular gym and I go in the AM when its not crowded so everyone (the regulars, at least) knows each other.

Same thing happens to me but I am not little (5'10.5"). They are more polite to girls than other guys. It makse sence: the real (evolutionary) reason most males lift is to attract females and fend off rival males.

Weight Loss Alli Weight Loss! Jul 21 2009

It doesn't make sense to me either. If you have to eat a low fat diet when taking alli then why do you want to block more fat? Fat is good and necessary for survival. I added more fats and fish oil to my diet and my hair and nails have never been healthier. Plus, anal leakage? eww who wants to risk that!?

Why on earth would you want to believe you came from an animal?

  1. Because I did.  And so did you.  Humans are animals therefore your parents and my parents are both animals.  Therefore, we both came from animals.
  2. There are lots of things that I do not want to believe that are nonetheless true.  I do not want to believe that there are sexist and racist people out there, but there are.  I do not want to believe that eating a pound of chocolate every day would make me fat, but it would.  Wanting to believe something does not make it true, and not wanting to believe something does not make it false.

^Yay agreed! except for the thing about eating a pound of chocolate everyday ;)

I grew up catholic and I know all the stories and arguments ect. However, I am working on becoming a PhD in bioarchaeology and have had a lot of exposure to evolution (particularly human evolution). I've seen a good amount of the human fossil record and you can literally see humans evolve. I've also had the opportunity to study million year old hominid remains and there is no doubt in my mind that evolution exists and continues to happen. Evolution is amazing!

Also, it really bothers me when people say "I didn't come from a monkey." Duh! You came from a common ancestor about 6 million years ago.

you need to understand that first impressions are unavoidable, and sometimes very accurate... the way you look tells a lot about who you are (whether you 'care' or not)

you wouldn't go to an important job interview in sweats, greasy hair, and a stained shirt would you? I sure hope not... and if you have, I bet you never got a call back.

it's okay to be comfy and lazy every once in a while... hell I do it all the time, BUT I do it at home, or at the grocery store. You know somewhere that it doesn't matter so much what you look like... But I would never ever go to work dressed like a slob, or go over to someone's house looking like I just rolled in a mud pile. Not only does that show laziness and a lack of self respect, but it shows a lack of respect for the work place or for another person.

If my boyfriend came over looking like crap on a daily basis, I would get the impression that he doesn't care enough about me to try and look good, or maybe I'm not important enough, that my opinion is irrelavant.

if the real you is very laid back, then I would suggest that you don't get a 'fancy' job that requires a strict dress code if you can't keep up with appearances

don't think that only personality matters.. self presentation is the first thing seen and first thing judged, you're personality will never be noticed if someone has no desire to talk to you based on how you present yourself

harsh but true

please people, practise proper hygiene.. it only takes minutes out of your day and will make all the difference

ahh.. superficiality at its finest. what i love about humans most.

yes, because regularly washing yourself is REALLY superficial

I'm sorry I don't like the smell of BO and the feeling of greasy knotted hair

there is nothing wrong with taking care of yourself

go tell your cat or dog next time he's licking himself clean to stop being so stuck up and superficial

Oh geez if this is true I wonder how I've survived all these years! When I go to work in the field I'm often covered in dirt and, depending on the location, do not have access to running water for weeks but I still get plenty of booty ;). I guess archaeologists are just special or maybe I look hot with dirty hippy hair!! Haha I often go to work in dirty cloths.

P.S. I love long hair it's fun to play with but it's also hard to deal with!

Honestly, no that is a bad idea. If you feel like you have a lot of fat you should work on changing your body composition. Add muscle and lose fat. Start lifting weights it will raise your metabolism. Also, eat more and add in more protein to your diet. I think i saw a post by you claiming that you eat very little. You should eat at least 2000 calories. You are tall and still developing. I have male friends that just stopped growing at 22.
