YES I feel the same way. I am not allowed to have sugar because of a health condition but lately i have had it and it makes me NUTS. I can't just have a little, it is like a switch goes off and i HAVE to have ANYTHING sweet.

yeah i am pissed at myself i did it again today, but sugar gets me nuts..i literally if i have even a TINY bit of sugar it just sets me off to crave more.  Since i am NOT supposed to have sugar if I have even a little bit i crave anything sweet in site! does this happen to anyone else???

Also I notice, that I don't drink enough water...this could be also it, I don't drink enough before and after i exercise, so i will think "oh i am just really hungry" and then later on after i eat a lot of crap i get SO thirsty!

I hate this though it's bad.

i did the same thing tonight..I realize though that I don't get enough all day..i wait till the end of the day and then i am ravenous so even though i am eating healthy i am not gettingi enough throughout the day so it is exagerated by the end of the night. i am mad at myself because it is a bad cycle. Plus I don't get enough when i exerecise so that makes me more ravenous so iend up like tonighti had 3000 calories, but when i looked at how much i have exercised and moved around the past week, it makes sense that i'd need at least 2200-2500 cal. so that does'nt make me feel SO bad for taking in 3000 today.

tomorrow is another day right?

Thank you so much for your advice, I will approach it with the website and also the 8-10% comment when he brings it up.

I also hope that this doesn't become an obsessive thing. what do i look for if it gets out of control? it's hard to decipher since before he was a couch potato.

Hun in my opinion, those that express that much concern in your appearance, are in reality, insecure with their own.  Do not let her wreck your confidence. Bravo on gaining the 5lbs.  Don't let this insecure sad RUDE woman wreck your goals for yourself. Just feel sorry for HER.

thank you peaches for writing a breakdown for me this will help i am going to try that instead. yeah the binges usually are when i am not getting enough protein. i noticed until i hit over 90grams i still crave everything in site and sugar a lot.

i can't have white bread and refined carbs so that is what i go for immediatly when i get into binge mode and it is bad cuz the next day i get really sick from it. but it's like at that moment i feel like an addict because my body doesn't care it just wants it no matter what.

im' noticing that not enough protein causes these insane craving binges for what i am not supposed to eat.

I am so pissed off, last night I ate 5000 in one sitting because i was so sick all day that i couldn't eat. I wasn't feeling 100% the day before either so although i was able to do my exercise routine and eat a little, i didn't get my daily calorie intake...so of course by 3am last night when I started to feel better and my symptoms were going away my stomach was ravenous from two days of discomfort.  I HATE THIS. Cry

Well i lost lasst night, I was sick and unable to eat the entire day andb 3 am i was ravenous, i just logged it and at 5000 calories! HOLY CRAP! but the past 2 days i wasn't feeling well so i probably didn't get in my daily the day before either so that explains it. I'm so pissed off now though, this is what makes it so hard, when i am sick i am unable to eat and then when i feel better my body freaks out cuz it couldn't eat when i was sick. almost like my body is a camel...it has to get it in while it can and then is ok for a while. i hate this.

Hi Ithic18,

Wow it is like I wrote what you said. I cannot even begin to tell you all the hell I went through to get diagnosed, i went to literally 20 different doctors the TOP on the east coast and it took 15 more yes 15 more to FINALLY figure out what was going on with me.  Before I got sick I was 105-110lbs, while I was severely ill i dropped down to 82lbs.  I finally got back up to 90lbs and now hover around 95-100.

It is a relief to know that I am not the only one that suffers with having to fight off "giving in" and ignoring the fact that I cannot have certain foods due to my health.  And that I am not the only one to panic about it too.

Thank you for sharing with me, it helps a lot to know that I am not the only one getting through this on the days that seem impossible.

If ever you need someone to talk to that truly understands don't hesitate to message me.

Hope to keep things going in this healthier direction! and bravo to those that got through today! Healthy lifestyle!! and every day is new, so if you slip don't worry you can get back up and start again!

thank you "fsdj1428",

It's comforting to know I am not alone and that you understand where I am coming from.  I have not thought of meeting with a physical trainer...I should do that as well.

I had a bad binge last night out of comments about being too thin, i panic and eat as much as i can so that i can gain quickly. which is SO BAD to do, this has been going on with me on and off for a month. I am sick of it and want tonight to be the end of it. I have to eat a bit more to meet my daily caloric needs but will make sure not to go overboard this will be the start of self control and not allowing others comments to make me feel so insecure.  I also just started seeing a psychologist and met with a nutritionist so I hope that this is the beginning of new return to a healthy life.

lets all keep eachother motivated to focus on HEALTHY lifestyle changes.

:-)
