I bought the diet about 2 or 3 years ago. I always have a hard time staying on it, but I use it when I've hit a plateau and it gets me going again. I'm actually on day 1 right now. I expect to lose at least 4 lbs in the 11 days which I won't complain about. I lost 40 lbs after having my son and the diet helped me lose about 20, but I was going to the gym 5 days a week and I know that helped. I think it's a good diet and I recommend it. Don't expect to lose absurd amounts of weight after the first 11 days. But you do lose quite a bit and I think there's definitely something to this "calorie shifting" theory. I've never hit a plateau on this diet, which I think is awesome. I dread tomorrow, my fruit day. Fruit never fills me up, and tomorrow is the 4th of july and I'm going to a BBQ, it will be hard sticking to my fruit and watching everyone else have hot dogs but I'm one commited woman! :) |

What a mean man! I can't believe some people have the nerve to say such hurtful things. Just awful. :( |

I think it's good you're not craving bad foods anymore, I'm still waiting for that to happen to my body. My advice, just eat higher calorie food. It can still be healthy of course. I would put the calories in your snacks, that's what I tend to do. A healthy snack with higher calories could be graham crackers spread with peanut butter and banana. listen to your body. If you're not feeling hungry, your body is not hungry. I don't think you should force yourself to eat so long as you feel you've had enough. No one knows your body and what it needs like you do. If you were starving your body, you would feel hungry. I am in no way an expert, but you've lost 2 lbs a week consistently so far, that is very healthy. If you were losing more than that there would be more cause to worry. I think you're doing great. Before bed try having a glass of milk. Your body can never have enough calcium. Hope that helped! |
