Great job everyone!!  I will be doing W3R1 tonight.

My weigh in for today is the same as last week, I didn't really watch what I ate. 

This week I am focused on running and eating right.

Great job pumpkin!!!!  I can't wait to reach my goal which seems like such a long time from now. 

I did my run this morning, struggled through.  I think I may do this week again  next week b/c I missed one day.  I am dreading my weigh in on Monday.  I don't think I gained but I don't think I lost either.

Hey Ladies,

I did W2d1 yesterday, I'm a little behind.  I figured it would work back out to MWF eventually.  It was harder than I thought but I finished.

Great job  everyone on your progress.  I'm a little sore but nothing too bad, although I haven't really done anything yet today.

I think I am going to start week 2 this Monday.  This way like someone said before if I need to redo another week I won't be behind. 

Lulu, I was able to get new shoes on Tuesday.  It made a huge difference.  Although I still have the blister (actually a blister on a blister).  I'm hoping it won't be too bad tomorrow.  I bought the blister bandaids and some larger ones.  I will be padding it tomorrow.

Everyone is doing great!!  I think I might also look into doing an actual 5k somewhere around here. 

Tank, my daughter would always get up and try and go back to playing.  I would just have to keep sticking her back into time out.  Eventually she realized if she justs sits the first time time goes by a lot faster.  I wouldn't use his crib though.  I think a lot of people say that makes the kids think that bed time is a punishment.  Good luck with him, you'll be fine, so will he.  You'll figure what works for you.

Monday will be here faster than I want!

Just finished day 3.  Pumpkin it's funny you said it was easier than day 2.  I thought the opposite about half way through and then thought no I guess today is easier.

I didn't weigh in yet, I'll post when I do.  I don't think I have dropped any weight b/c my eating has not been the best. 

Is everyone staying on week one or moving to week 2.  I think I might try week two and if I feel like I have to move to week one.

*Edit*  I got on the scale it said 189.5, so that would be down 1 lb.  I am not going by that b/c my official weigh in is Monday

My youngest is 2, she is very stubborn, always wanting to do things her way and in her time.  I use time out for her, I've done this for a while.  Even as young as 14 months.  I wouldn't say keep him in time out for 10 minutes, but 1 minute for every year they are is what I think is standard.  I know they use this in the daycare my kids go to during the school year.  Find a place away from everything.  I use the steps or one of the chairs in my rec room and make sure the tv is off or not on a kids show.  Hope this helps.

As for everything else I have been slacking in the food department.  Some days are better than others.  Yesterday could have been better.  Well starting new today.

Good Morning Ladies!!!

Ok so I finished Week One Day 2 about a half hour ago.  When I started I kept thinking I could just walk at least I'm out here.  But I pushed and did the entire thing.  Once I started jogging my first sixty seconds it wasn't bad.  I was a little sore last night and when I started but nothing I couldn't get over.  The biggest problem I had was with the blister that started Monday.  I went and got a new pair of running shoes last night.  I put a bandaid on the back of both of my ankles making sure to cover the blister but it wasn't enough.  The bandaids didn't stick to the skin on my foot with the blister, now it is huge and sore.  If that is my hardest thing to overcome during this I'll be greatful! 

Elizajk, I just printed the checklist it is great.  I'm going to mark next to each day I complete. 

Keep up the great work ladies!!  Week One is almost over.

Hey ladies,

I did it!!!  I'm so excited.  I tried to get out of bed for half an hour but kept saying I have time.  I jumped out in just enough time to get done day one and be able to get ready to open the store.  My problem was the direction I went.  Usually I turn right out of my house and go around the block that way.  Well today I went left (my development has 2 streets, I live on the bend of the horseshoe).  I realized why I never go left, you get to the big hill within a few minutes.  Guess where my first 60 second run started, in the middle of the hill!!!  But I made it.  I did the full week one, ending a little away from my house.  All in all I did 2 miles (each time around my street is 1/2 mile).  That includes the distance where I ended the couch 2 5k and continued until I made it home. 

I realized the mistake with the podcast, I downloaded the wrong one.  Last night I went back and found the right one.

I'm so excited and nervous for tomorrow.  So we'll post our progress and our weight after we complete the first day. 

I have a question for those who downloaded the podcast.  I did it last night then started to listen to see what to expect and after the introduction there was silence.  Now I don't know if the full 27 minutes left were silent but after about a minute nothing.  Did this happen to anyone else?  I think I might delete it then try and download it again.  Any suggestions?

I'll add some info about myself. 

I'm also 32.  I started CC at 186 in 2006 and went down to 172 by the end of 2006.  I was able to keep that weight off until this past Oct/Nov.  I gained 20 lbs this school year, mainly from stress eating.  I was able to get down to 187 a few weeks ago but I am not sure where I am now, so I will weigh in Monday. 

I am a high school teacher with 3 kids.  My husband works  in construction and we have a summer business at the shore.  As a result he works 7 days a week also leaving me with very little time alone.  Throw in Tuesdays and Thursdays when I watch my neice and nephews for the summer and I am left with even less time. 

I want to feel comfortable with myself, something I have not been in a long long time.  I really like the motivation of a group and the accountability of checking in to others.  I'm really excited about this!  I also added everyone in the group to my list of friends.

Scared, I think that is not even close to what I feel, terrified!  I'm also very excited!  I put on all of the weight I lost two years ago on this site.  I'm ready to lose it all this year.  Friday or Monday weigh in is good for me. 

Are we doing the couch to 5k?

I would also love to join!  I have wanted to get into running for the past few months.  I have always thought no I can't run for whatever the reason, but I really think with some support I can. 

Starting Monday is great for me.  Just let me know what program we are following so I can download it.  Are we weighing in 1 or 2 times a week and which days? 

If someone could list all of the members of the group then we would be able to keep track of each other a little easier. 

I am going to go look up the podcasts later too.

This is so funny!!  I am also originally from Philly and actually worked at Tastykake.  I was a summer worker when I first started college.  That is where I met my husband (also a summer worker).  I worked on the krimpet line.  How funny!  My brother-in-law still works there.
