Original Post by linz78: Hahaha! Lmao! There was a forum post on here by a girl, I can't remember who now, but the gist was that that she had been intimate with a guy and he had turned to her afterwards and said "I'm sorry I don't date fat chicks." To which she replied "Thats ok, I don't date guys with small penises". Love it! |

I live in Australia and our shows differ from yours, but I'd say it's not so much the programs for me, but the ads. I love KFC popcorn chicken and it seems to be on every freakin ad! |

I think I'm the odd one out here. The people in my gym don't look at each other and barely speak at all, let alone smile. I have learnt just to stick my iPod on and ignore everyone. When I began I would have killed for a "hello"! Maybe just leave her to do her workout BUT if you do want to approach her, wait until she gets off her machine and hop off of yours and head in the same direction she's going. Make some excuse about getting more water, or going to the loo. ( Yes, it will muck up your workout -once!) When you pass her, say hello and try to mention something nice about her/something in common with her. ( NOT how flushed both of your faces are, maybe admit something to her that you would a close friend, to let her know you have problems exercising too) Then say seeya to her and the next time, pick a machine next to hers and if she happens to look your way, smile, then go back to working out.. Then she knows there's a friendly face nearby. Haha, sorry.. You don't have to stalk her, just let her know there's someone friendly there. If after that, she still is unresponsive, leave it. She's probably a lone-exerciser. Good luck! |

Original Post by meleania: To a certain degree I am. It was pretty crushing.. There were many other comments I omitted, I didn't want to admit things he said to me, for example: How disgusting I looked and that I could probably look normal if I lost half my body weight, and that guys won't like me until I'm thin. (No offence meant tho! Whatever!) The gist of the rest was pretty degrading. I am glad that someone told me about my weight issue, but I wish it could have been less painfull. But, if he had been gentler, would I have listened? Probably not. Actually, I would have continued to bury my head in the sand. Actually I should go punch him in the arm for the rudeness of the nasty comments, and bear hug him for the shake-up! |

Like some other posters, I have always been bigger than my friends and family but was in denial. Even when confronted with my fat, I still managed to make excuses and ignore my weight. It was all too hard and I hated the thought of depriving myself of things like chocolate and KFC. So I got bigger, and bigger. Did I mention I am possibly the laziest person ever? If there was an easy way out - I took it. My wake up call happened last year in October on my 21st birthday. I invited all my friends up to my dads party pub and we had a great time partying on, but I was very acutely aware that I was at least twice the size of most of my friends and one of the few singles. I had dressed up in my most flattering clothes and still spent WAY too much time adjusting and pulling to be really comfortable. After getting very very drunk I found myself sitting on the pavement with one of my longtime friends in a very drunken deep and meaningful, who blurted out to me that I was probably the only single in our group (not by choice) and that it had looked like I had stopped trying to look decent. I sat there silent for a while while he raved on about how friends tell the truth and it also how hillarious it was watching me attempt to dance, considering my size. I laughed along, but I was really hurt inside and I've never had much self esteem due to my weight, which in turn made me eat and round and round, and that talk with my friend really got to me. When I saw photos of myself a few weeks later, I finally put my foot down and swore to myself that I would: 1. Get to 198 (onederland!) by October 5th 09 and keep on losing (SO close! Only 10~ to go!) 2. Watch his face when I walk into the room, at goal weight 121 wearing something casual but sexy like its an everyday thing - which it will be! I joined Jenny, after losing 10 pounds on my own, and have lost 24 pounds. Here I type sitting in jeans two sizes smaller and in a L Twilight fan shirt (LOL!) :D It's only gonna get better. ROBERT, watch it! Sorry this was so long... |

Um, I have NO idea what shape I am... I thought I was apple, seeing as I have a large tummy, but I don't have "thin" legs, and I have almost no bum and thick arms...I don't have a problem getting jeans on (my thighs aren't the problem) have you ever seen an advertisement with a lady on her bed breathing in and trying to do up the button?? Yeah, thats me.. With muffin top. My measurements are 5"1 1/2 I'm sort of big all over.. What the hell am I??? |

Yeah, fellow Aussie here. How crazy was that wind last week?? Anyways, I usually grab a couple of Saladas and tomatoes and put a but of cracked black pepper on the top. That way it's not too bad (no butter!) and I still get that crunchy munchy feeling as well as feeling full. Hope it helps! |

Um, I've lost 7.5kgs, and NO one has really noticed much. I've not really noticed much, just a small thing... like the possibility of a jawline under all this double chin. Over the next six weeks I am hoping to have lost 3.7 kilos , which is achieveable.. and would get me out of the 90's, and just into the 80's. Fingers crossed, SOMEONE notices.

I know I've posted here before, but last night I was hanging around with my friends. One of my mates was in his room with these two chicks, all a bit drunk(not doing any thing sexual) But the girls emerged a while later all flirty and just about to leave and I looked at them and they were a tiny bit bigger than me and they looked uncomfortable in their clothes and awkward with their bodies, holding on to their pant pockets and chewing on their sleeves, covering their faces and I realised that I was mirroring their behaviour. I don't want to be like that, it's not who I am and I don't want to be like that anymore... I want to feel confident wearing a burlap sack! |

Cannot recommend Bio-Oil enough. I have scars on both my hands, and have been using a combination of exfoliating in the shower and using Bio-oil on my left hand. On the right hand, just exfoliation. My left hand scars are fading fast and turning lighter, my right hand ones are only improving slightly. I've been using it for a month or two now. I haven't used it on my tummy or sides just yet, but I definatley recommend you try it. I think it's around $15(?) or so bucks a bottle and lasts ages. So if it doesn't work for you, it's great to use to re-hydrate skin.. I rub it into my legs. In fact, I'm off to oil up. I'm gonna trial it for 3 months, and see how it goes.. Worth a shot I reckon. |

Thanks heaps cellotlhicks, I didn't realize just how poorly I thought of me. Thank you for replying... I really needed your kind words. I consider myself kind, honest, funny, caring, smart and thoughtful.. I don't mean to sound up myself here.. I guess I forgot that whats on the outside can be just as important to me. I don't mean looking like a supermodel, but being happy with myself has got to be seeing the beauty when it's not obvious and finding something that I do feel proud of, physically. Got a bit of soul searching to do, I think. Thanks again cellotlhicks.. people like you are beautiful inside and out. Much love. |

I just read this thread with such enthusiam until I realised that I have nothing to add... I just realised how much I hate my body. From my flat fat feet, to my wild unruly hair... I have almost nothing going for me physically... 1. Long lashes on big green eyes... and unfortunately.. Nothing else... Has anyone seen Kath and Kim? Seen Sharon? Yeah... Similar body type. No neck, triple chin, cellulite.. God I hate myself so much. Why did I let it get so bad?? Sorry guys.. Totally brought this thread down.. Literally never felt so bad about myself. |

I first started noticing in in my face, my cheeks are less puffy and under my ears where I suspect my jawline is awaiting, definately less of a double chin. My tummy is as pudgy as ever unfortunately and I would love to see less boobage! |

I need to change mine too, I usually do tests a few times to see if the results differ (most quizzes I take change dramatically) and I got curious and now I have a profile that does not match me. I did read the post about the Development Team trying to rework the results, I was just wondering when in the future as this will be, as that was posted in Jan. |

If I had got to my goal weight and my pants fell off I would run naked through the shops. Lol. Better to fall off you, rather than split or wear through chub-rub. Great work on losing. :D None of my pants are falling off me yet, as I was unsuccessfully squeezing into a size 18, but they are starting to stop cutting into me so much. :D |

No-one at my dads 50th last night said I lost any weight, I got a few "You look good" comments though. I suppose I'm only down 13 pounds. I did notice today that I'm STARTING to get a jaw line and less of a double chin, which rocks. I'm not really waiting for comments just yet, maybe in October for my Bday, or Christmas I will... *fingers crossed* |

So I can buy boots! I have big calves and I can't wait to lose weight and slim down and pull on some gorgeous boots. Also, here in Australia in summer it gets sweltering and I sometimes get a heat-rash behind my knees and in my elbow crease. So I can go on a shopping spree and pick a shop at random and KNOW I can pull ANYTHING from the rack and have it fit. |

I don't know if thats true, I am certainly overweight and I guess I don't look horrifying, however I am 100% certain my looks will improve once I lose the double chin, round face and get a neck.. I don't think I'd be offended if someone said "You have such a pretty face it's a shame.." I would just be content that someone complimented me, even if it was a backhanded comment. At least it's not "You COULD be pretty, if you lost some weight." I'm on the same page as lovegrowsontrees, my face is one big flabby circle and I'll look much better without all the flab... makeup helps me. |

Thanks gals and pals, I was thinking about going to the thrift stores and picking things up, what would I grab though? Every warbrobe needs a flattering pair of jeans, but what else, I've never been fashionable and as I have alwyas been a bigger girl, I've mostly stuck to big loose shapless shirts and baggy jeans, so I have NO style. What would be your staple items to ALWAYS have? |

I had a bit of a look online and it said that around every 15.4# was a dress size, so perhaps a new wardrobe? Although, seeing as its a continuous loss, you wouldn't want to buy a whole new bunch of clothes.. I bought a pair of pants for work from Target (notoriously generous) earlier this week and I already have to wear a belt for them...Just sick of living in oversized mens shirts and shapeless ill-fitting jeans. Oh, another of my mini goals-Melbourne shopping spree, when I get down to near goal... (Australia) |

I really want to lose weight so that I can be carried. I adore being put over a guys shoulder and carried somewhere. I love to play-fight with my guy-friends and I would love just once, to push it just that little bit further with my sexy body, to prove I'm not a guy. Also, when I wear tops I have a huge overhang belly and I'm very self-concious of the way that tops ride up and expose my belly when I raise my arms high enough so I'd love to wear something that if it ever does move up when I raise my arms, someone wants to kiss my sexy tummy. I tend to be classed in the "One of the boys" category and would love to walk into a room in low slung tight jeans and a cute little top and make some jaws drop. Maybe it just me, but guys seem to gravitate towards these women and I'd love just once for it to be me. One of the reasons I want to lose weight is so that when I come across my ex (we both still have this chemistry between us, but he can be an as$hole) he can't take my eyes off me and wants me the way he used to. He's also the jealous type and I'm evil for thinking it, but I would love him to grab me and get punched in the face for it by one of my other stunned guy-friends. Evil I know, but that guy wouldn't take off work to pick me up after bullying me into a termination. Sorry, but also I would love to be the out-going person I was before I realised that I had always been "the fat chick" I don't know how I look skinny and would love to lose my tummy and quadruple chin and moon-face. Sorry, rant over for now, I just have a lot of things I would love.. Started at 222 pounds, down to 209pounds... and still falling |
