1- When people let their weight slam down. 2-When people put the weights in the wrong place or don't put them away at all. 3-Guys that grunt very loud sounding like they are either having sex or developing a hernia while lifting so much weight they can only do maybe 3 reps (this is also the group that normally lets there weights fall very loud). 4-I agree on the lady's walking around naked or doing their hair while naked. Most are not good looking and most have a bush that is about 7 inches long. USE A TRIMMER PLEASE! I shower at a gym and keep a towel on tell I have at least my underwear and bra on. I do find girls attractive (I'm married so I only look) and I still have yet to see any girl walking around naked that I thought wow thanks for letting me look. As far as thinking wow that has burned an image into my mind that I did not want...yea had that a few times. I have to admit I am one of those that is on the phone sometimes. My feeling is that I am not able to have the person with me so I talk to them on the phone just like I would if they were there. I try to make sure I don't talk louder than normal and I figure if it helps me work out for 40 minutes rather than 20-30 as I don't get bored sorry to bother you but it helps me.

I personally try to drink one every day as I don't normally get enough meat during the day to get the amount of protein I am trying for. I like vanilla whey protein with just 8 oz of light and fit orange juice (only adds 50 calories) and I think it taste like an orange cream drink yummy!! I just mix the powder and juice in a shaker and go on my way. I find if I try to make smoothies in the blender with it I just don't get around to making them as I don't have the time. |

I have the same problem minus the c-section. I am actually planning on getting a tummy tuck in September. I work out very hard and I have a body fat now in the fit range and I just can not really do anything about the extra skin and it is absolutely nasty looking to me especially if I am bent over. I would love to say I know away to get rid of it with no surgery but no such luck. I feel like I was over weight for so long and I have worked so hard at some point in my life I deserve to look down and see a flat stomach and feel sexy. I know if leaves a big scar but that to me is not as unattractive as a sagging tummy. My husband wants me to just do what ever makes me happy so he finally agreed and I had him look at pictures to make sure his opinion about what was worse was the same as mine. I hope you find what work best for you but for me the only option at this point is to get a tummy tuck so a surgeon can give me what my body can not no matter how hard I work. ? Best of luck to you |

I have some days that I get really sleepy but if it continues I agree with gi-jane about going to the doctor. I had that problem and it continued for some time and I found out I had mono. I was not kissing anyone to get it the only one I kiss is my husband of almost 5 years. The doctor said you can get mono when you are younger and not realize if the systems are not bad enough and then it can come back. I thought maybe anemia but never guessed it could be mono when I went in so you just never know. |

curtin I do eat several small meals a day. I eat about 30% protein and that ends up being about 100g or more a day. I am trying to eat less and yes I do have times that my tummy growls for food. I tried to cut down my calories by 200 a day but that was to much of a cut so I am trying for a 100 less than I was eating for a month and then I will try another 100 less. tcsmythe - My ideal body weight for my height with the small frame I have is actually as low as 125. My stomach hangs over my pants and my lower stomach looks horrible. From the top up I think I look really skinny but if you look at the new picture I added of my tummy that wont go away you will see I still have weight to lose. I'm actually happy with life but my struggle to look good makes me sad often. I feel like I try so hard I just want to have a sexy flat stomach at some point. I have not seen a flat tummy since I was 8 or 9. skinnybyjune9th My clothing does not seem to get any more lose. I actually went up in weight to about 150 after being 130 and now I am hear at 142. I have a pair of pants I wore at 130 that had been getting lose and they are not lose at all. I think some of it is muscle mass as I looked a my journal and I am at the most weight I have done in almost every area.
I went to a a cosmetic surgeon the other day and got a price quote for a tummy tuck. My husband said that I could get it later this year after we paid off some bills. I am so excited that I will finally just need to maintain my weight instead of have an endless struggle to lose weight. My skin just lost it's ability to bounce back after getting to 200 pounds and if I want a flat stomach this is my way to get it. I am so excited about the the idea of finally having a FLAT stomach after working out almost 4 years and never seeing such a thing in all that time!!!

Thanks for the input. I am using the Harris Benedict Equation and it said 1483 was my BMR and then to x1.2=1780 I figured then I just need to burn 3500 calories a week to lose a pound. I normally burn about that much every week anyway. (If you are sedentary (little or no exercise) : Calorie-Calculation = BMR x 1.2). I have just changed my calorie goal from 1800-1900 to 1700 to see what that does. I am also going to try to eat 10g of sugar or less after dinner and not eating after 930 as well. I am also not going to have gum as I find I can go through about a pack a day as the flavor is not long lasting. I am going to also continue the no candy rule. I hope that this will help me get down to what I want to be. Thanks again for the words of motivation and advise. |

We go there every year for birthdays. I get the spaghetti with rich meat sauce and ask for apple sauce instead of a salad or soup. I normally have at least one piece of bread but try not to have more. |

| She wants to be 97 pounds at 5'3 and is 14 as per her bio. I would say yes you probably have an eating disorder and need to get help. I can not say for positive as stated above but since you said you only eat an apple so you will have a FEW hundred calories at night I have a feeling you are not eating very much in one day. How did you come up with a goal of less than 100 pounds? I think you need to talk to a dietitian and start trying to eat more. If you were 4'10 with a small frame the general guide line still says you should be 102. I think if you want great abs like the pictures you posted you need to work out and eat a well balanced diet with enough calories to meet you needs. | |||

| I love this new thing I tried called fruitabu. I have only been able to find it at wal-mart but it is a great treat! My husband does not normally like healthy stuff but he had almost my entire box of the smooshed fruit and the fruit roll that taste just like a fruit roll up. | I am saving now to do a lot of shopping and I am going to do the same as you are and get rid of the clothing that is to big. I am also saving for a mini tummy tuck. Some people may be against it but if I get to my ideal weight and stay there 6 months I think I deserve it. I just have extra skin that is not going to just go away. I am less than 10 pounds away from what I think my idea weight will be so I have a lot of saving to do. | |||

did everything Friday but I was over by 100 calories and I changed putting clothing away to making dinner. I made a really good dish and that is amazing for me because I normally don't cook and if I do it's just cooking some meat and noodles or something. Wednesday I did everything but I except I only worked out 45 min and I was a little over 1800 calories but I had a 150 calorie vita water so I actually ate about 1800. Well I figure me goals were the same for Thursday except that putting clothing away so I did accomplish them. I also had over 1800 calories today but I burned about 900 in my 2 classes that I took so I figure it's not bad to be over on calories. Goals for Friday Eat 1800 calories or less Put everything on my log Drink at least 3 bottles of water Study one hour Put away all the clothing Work out for at least 1 hour!! Don't eat more than 300 calories in treats |

I had a very busy Tuesday that left no time to check in. Monday I did Eat no more than 300 calories in snacks Put everything on my log Go to S.E.T class Study 1 hour Do one load of laundry Drink at least 3 bottles of water. I did not eat less than 1800 calories. Tuesday I did not work out or do laundry but I did everything else including the less than 1800 calories. Goals for Wednesday Eat 1800 calories or less Put everything on my log Drink at least 3 bottles of water Study one hour Put away all the clothing Work out for at least 1 hour!! |

So for my first day back I did okay.I went to the gym for the 6th time, put everything on my log, had only 1700 calories, and did not have over 300 calories in snacks!I did not get in my one hour of studying though. I am proud of my self on the snacks because I decided to include scones from great harvest and things like that so when my husband got a cinnamon crunch bagel from the store I had already had a treat so I did not eat one even though I had the calories. Goals for Monday Eat no more than 300 calories in snacks Put everything on my log Try to eat 1700 calories 1800 is okay Go to S.E.T class Study 1 hour Do one load of laundry Drink at least 3 bottles of water. I hope that I get better soon I have been sick for a full week now and I got my husband sick. I am not able to get in a good full work out and feel like I am working so hard when my heart rate tells me I am not. I thank the nighttime medicine for me actually sleeping through the night!! I just really miss my good full workouts and hope to see them soon :) |

My grandma's funeral was not tell October 24th and then I have been sick for a while and we had some other stuff going on. I'm still sick but it just major congestion so I don't let it stop me from working out and what not. My workouts are far less vigorous and the time is shorter but you can only do so much when you can not breath very well. Goals for Sunday Work out for the 6th time. Study one hour Put EVERYTHING on calorie log Don't go over 1800 calories but try for only 1700 Eat no more than 300 calories in snacks

| Oh you picked my favorite subject. My most favorite at the moment I guess ends up being over a 100 calories because you eat and apple with it. Light house 100 calorie pack caramel dip and it has 7 grams of fiber. I found 80 calorie mini ice cream candy bars they had snickers, twix, mikyway, and 3 musketeers. 100 calorie mini hostess carrot cup cakes. There are a lot more of course but those are my favorites. | |||

Well I did good on all of my goals except I did not get to the gym. My husband and I share a car so it just did not work out. I made sure to include everything on my log and found I did go over but not by much and today my weight is back down so that was really nice. Well my goals were simple so glad to say I accomplished them. I am going to start getting more strict in my goals as I need to be to my ideal weight in 6 months or less basically whenever I am ready to take the test for being an ACE certified instructor. Do 45 minutes of cardio. Drink at least 72 oz of water Keep strict track of calories and try very very hard not to go over at all!!! Do no eat more than 2 100 calorie treats Don't have any goals for when I get home as I am just spending time with my husband since he just got back yesterday.

So I really hate to say it and this better be my only time but can I get a restart for today the 15th please. I ordered my study materials for the ACE certification for being an aerobics instructor so no more restarts I need to stay serious and constant because nobody's wants to take a class from a little but chubby aerobics instructor. I have a little variation in what clean eating is as well Keep track of calories every day and everything must be on there. I do have an exception for Holidays and that is eat only one serving and a meal only at one of the many house and only one desert for the entire day. Work out 4-6 times a week

Well I reached all my goals except the calorie log. I don't really feel to bad because I spent a lot of time with my mom and I don't visit her very often so I don't think not really having time to do my log or knowing the calories for what she made is a big deal. I of course still tried to make good choices but feel that the time I spent with my mom and having dinner with her was a great choice for the day.
Ohio -I should definitely be able to give some advise and have some really good knowledge in general you should see the freaking study materials!! I am really excited once I start studying I think I will find as I learn really interesting helpful things I will be telling everyone about them! Goals for Sunday do calorie log drink at least 2 bottles of water other than that I am just spending time with my husband since he is flying back home to me in the morning. I have finally finished his 4 trips in 2 months and now I get him home for the rest of the year. I think on Monday I am going to kick up my gym time and buckle down on my calories even more because who wants a lady with a bit of a belly leading the aerobics class? I don't have to much wait to lose but I think it needs to be off by the time I start looking for jobs!! It would be so great to study and pass the test and start getting some work that I can do once I get off work from my regular job! |

Thanks for the welcome back ohio and and figurethefat. I appreciate the support of feeling like someone cares if I stay or go. I have just felt so busy and sleepy and it just feels like I never have time to post and if I do I don't even have time to read all the post since my last one. I just ordered my study materials to be an ACE certified aerobics instructor. I have to study 3-6 months before I take the test. Well 3-6 is recommended but I take there word for it so that is what I am planning especially with how much the test is. I am suppose to get the stuff on Wednesday so I will have even less time to do stuff. It's funny you would think I have a eventful life but I don't just seems like I am spending time with my hubby or something else. I drank more that I was hoping for on the water today I did clean the kitchen and it took a long time as I did some extra stuff. I did the early morning workout but after work I just did lower body because my neck is a little stiff still. I am happy to say I did only have 2 100 calorie treats and it was a low sugar caramel dip so I had it with an apple so not to bad. I feel good about getting stuff done so that is nice I just sure wish I could pass this Goals for Saturday Do 900 am work out Go out to my moms house Make sure to do calorie log Not many goals but going out to my moms should count as 2 or 3 :)

I have been missing for a while it seems. I have still been working out and doing my calorie log but I have been busy spending time with my husband watching lost so I have not really done much else. I am getting frustrated because this is week 3 that I have done everything I am suppose to and still not lost weight even gain a pound sometime. I know giving up will not help but it just makes it hard. I even started mixing up my routine after the first week and get nothing! I pulled a muscle in my neck or something have been in a lot of pain that last 2 days. I am hoping it will go away by tomorrow so I can get back to lifting weights. I have still been getting in cardio but that is all.
Goals for Friday Do the 620 a.m. work out If neck is no longer sore do full body weights after work. Drink at least 70oz of water Only 2 100 calorie treats for the day Finish cleaning the kitchen Great job to everyone that has continued to pose most days and do well on there goals. |

Wednesday I did great on all my goals.Oh well I did go a little over on my calories but I did log them all and was not to far over.The gym was really hard for some reason but I still did HIIT so that was good. So today I did close to 1 hour of cardio. I was a few minutes short but I did 8 intervals of HIIT (high intensity interval training) and that was difficult so I don't feel bad about missing a few minutes. I did chest, back ,triceps, and biceps. I drank at least 3 mugs of water. Calories look great so far. As far as putting away close I will have to see if that gets done. I got a call back and I can do my RMR test this Saturday but not tell 12 I am going to be so hungry. You can not eat for 4 hours before. Pepper-RMR is resting metabolic rate. So after I take this test I will know how many calories my body uses every day rather than just an estimate like they have on this site. I figure since I count my calories and have a heart rate monitor that tracks my calories I will be able to eat the correct amount to lose weight at a healthy pace. I am going to try to sleep in as late as I can so I don't have to be awake hungry for 4 hours since I normally eat about every 3 http://www.webmd.com/video/measuring-your-met abolic-rate

My goals for Tuesday Go to the gym and do one hour cardio Do upper body weights Drink 3 mugs of water Strict 1840 calories Put some close away I had called to try to reschedule my appointment for the RMR test for this Saturday but they have not called back to let me know so I am guessing that is a no. Oh well I just need to work hard to do well on my calories and keep with it. I'm sure there is some reason I am gaining and not losing and I know giving up or continuing to go over my calories will not help. Hope you all had a good weekend!! |

| Just checking in. I am still doing really good on my clean eating!! I have been the most strict ever on my calories. I have been doing good for 2 weeks and lost weight the first week gained a little the second. I am having an RMR test done the 13th but I am calling to try to change it to this upcoming Saturday so I can make sure I am eating the correct amount of calories so I can lose weight as a reward for how good I have been. I have been good at going to the gym as well so the weight gain even though it was small was a real downer. Wont stop me though |
