| Thank you all for your advice. I didn't find it harsh, I found it educational. I will not take those pills ( i didn't really want to in the first place) :) losing weight the healthy way is ALWAYS better than a short cut, especially one that leads to a heart attack. Besides, knowing you lost the weight from hard work and determination would be much more gradifying then saying, " I payed about $120 to lose 30 pounds." | |||

| 415 calories isn't even half of what you need to keep healthy. Depending on you weight, height, and sex you should eat anywhere from 1300-2000 calories a day! and excercise along with it. If you don't eat your body will shut down and your metablolism will screw up and will take a looong time to get it back to normal speed again. | |||

| Lol, thank you. Yeah, I've tried diets (only one or two real ones) got fit, lost some weight, but i was restricting sooo much that i just gave in. I wanna change my life style but still have some fun :) (eating something sweet every once in a while) But yeah, loosing like 4 or more pounds a week is def. not a good idea, i agree...your average of 1 1/2 to 2 pounds is very good. Hope you reach your goal! :) | |||

| Hi. When I was 12 I was similar. I weighed about 135 and ate, i suppose out of boredom. I am 17 now and my weight keeps going up. I'm almost 200 now. I'm not trying to scare you, that might not happen to you. I don't know if you are fat or not b/c i haven't seen you. But if you want to be healthy just watch what you eat and take at least 30 minutes 4 times a week to excercise. Don't worry, your young, and if you take care of it now it wont be a problem later. :) | |||

| I used to have "excercize anorexia" I ate healthy food but I made sure I burned it all off. The funny thing was I didn't loose a pound. Now I guess I am just tired of trying to feel normal. | |||

| i am looking at losing 60-70 pounds, i have no idea about calories. My diet is really crappy. I eat cereal in the morning, nothing until about 4pm-7pm and then a snack at night. I never eat lunch because my mom doesn't have any healthy food around here (or packable food) | |||
