| Weight Loss | Deca Slim | May 04 2009 20:09 (UTC) |

Just an update. I've been taking decaslim for about a week and a half and so far see no benefit/changes. I have not had any weightloss beyond my normal and very slow weightloss from calorie counting. I realize it has been a very short period of time so I'm willing to give it more time. Just wanted to update everyone. Anyone else have feedback to share? |

Hi, I use Lose It and I really like it. It's so convenient because I always have my phone with me to log my calories, (as opposed to not always having access to a computer when I'm eating). The one thing I noticed is there was a difference of a little over 100 calories of what lose it suggested I eat and what caloriecount suggested, (lose it suggested more calories). I'm sticking with the lower amount suggested by CC.
I've lost 2 pounds in 1 week using it. |

I just started taking deca slim and have a question for others using it. Does anyone feel a little light headed or "spacy" about 20 minutes after taking it? haha
btw, I did the fat flush that comes with deca slim and it did absolutely nothing for me. Here's hoping that the actual pill works out better. |

| Weight Loss | The scale is not budging. What am I doing wrong? | Apr 22 2009 22:23 (UTC) |

bdasko: I don't think I'm not eating enough. I'm legitimatelly satisfied with my meals and never feel hungry. I'm a grazer by nature so I tend to eat a bunch of smaller meals and snacks throughout the day. I feel like I'm constantly eating. haha I'm begrudgingly starting to admit to myself that I'm going to have to work in more exercise, (although I really don't know where in my schedule I could POSSIBLY fit it).
thanks for the advice. :-) |

Thanks for the support Future214. I'm frustrated but I guess I just need to keep eating healthy and hope for the best. As for cycling my calories - it's really hard for me to eat 1600 or 1700 without over doing it. if i'm eating healthy than there's just no way I can eat that many calories. I'm just too full. the only way for me to reach those calories is by adding high calorie, (yummy), food and I'm ashamed to admit that once I start eating that kind of stuff, it's really hard for me to stop. I'm going to keep with this for a while longer and if I still don't see results I'll try cycling. Once again, thanks! |

| Weight Loss | Suggestions for meeting calorie intake minimums? | Dec 08 2008 22:57 (UTC) |

urgh I feel you. My calorie goal is 1400 per day and I have a problem getting past 1200 on most day but I feel like I'm CONSTANTLY eating. I have 3 meals a day and about 3 snacks and still I'm under, (unless I go out to eat - restaurant food is always loaded with hidden calories). Is it really that bad to be so many calories under? |

Now this might be a stretch and I don't want to worry you but these are things worth checking out. 1. it could be a thyroid condition. If you develope an overactive thyroid you will constantly be hungry. 2.adult onset diabetes. In fact one of the first symptoms of biabetes is constant hunger and thirst.
these are worth checking out. better safe than sorry. |

| Weight Loss | Gaining 14 pounds as a newlywed!!! | Dec 03 2008 17:37 (UTC) |

You are not alone. I'm not a newlywed but when I met my boyfriend a bit over a year ago I was 117lbs. I know I've put on weight because some of my clothes dont fit the same way. I'm a little too scared to weight myself but i'm pretty certain I'm around 130 now, (the most I've ever weighed). I know that doesn't sound like much but I have a VERY small bone structure so 130 is actually a lot on me. I definitely attribute it to just getting comfortable with each other and "being loved for who I am" etc etc. I used to have sooo much motivation whenever I needed to lose weight, (I used to be a dancer), but as long as I've been in this relationship I just can't find the motivation. It also doens't help that my boyfriend has a crazy metabolism that doesn't let him gain weight. He could eat pizza everyday and look great. Today is my first day back on the weight watching wagon in over a year. I'm motivated and have set reasonable goals. I'm really hoping that I can keep with it. I REALLY want to look the way I did a year ago. |

| Weight Loss | Fifteen 100 Calorie Meals / Snacks a Day??? | Apr 10 2008 22:10 (UTC) |

| pros: constantly eating keeps your metabolism up and constantly working. Also you feel like you're eating throughout the day so you are less likely to always be thinking about food. I know i personally eat like 5 or 6 "meals" a day I just makes sure they're small.
cons: sometimes snacking doesn't feel filling. it might leave you never quiet satisfied. Also, if everything is not prepackaged you might "accidentally" eat more than you intended. |

| Weight Loss | Anyone else having troubles curbing the candy cravings? | Apr 10 2008 22:04 (UTC) |

| OH MY GOD YES! i crave candy and sweets all the time. Here are a few things I find to help satisfy the cravings.
-dark chocolate: 72% or higher. anything lower just has way too many calories. the dark stuff is actually not that high in calories and is actually good for you, (antioxidants). just make sure to get the plain kind without any fillings, (that's where the calories are). -sugar free chocolate pudding: 60 calories per cup. sooo delicious, satisfying and decadent -sugar free jello: 10 calories per cup. -weight watchers popsicles: popsicle on the outside, ice cream on the inside and all only 60 calories. sooo delicious. hope this helps! |

| Weight Loss | Let's start a group! Anyone need to lose 10-15 lbs? | Apr 03 2008 21:34 (UTC) |

| Hi Everyone,
I want to join. A little about me: 24 year old female 5'4.5 129lbs (my heaviest....ever) I have a very small frame/bone structure. most of the time my body is comfortable and happy between 117 and 120 pounds, (although in college I was 115). I've recently gained weight, (partly due to stress and partly due to being in a new relationship...you all know how that goes). My goal is to get back to 117-120 pounds. I know this doesn't seem like a lot but for me every pound is a struggle. I've been calorie counting for the past two weeks but the weight doesn't seem to budge. I'm doing everything I've done in the past that has always worked. I'm pretty discouraged but I guess I'll keep at it. Is anyone else having this problem with those last few stuborn pounds? any advice? |

| Weight Loss | How long did it take you to start losing weight? | Apr 03 2008 19:03 (UTC) |

| I'm totally in your boat. I'm 24, 5'5 and at any given moment somewhere between 117 and 125 pounds. Although I am prone to weight gain i've never had a problem losing weight when I've commited to it. I would always cut my calories and start losing weight instantly. well, right now due to stress I've gained a few pounds, (up to 128) that I've very uncomfortable with so I've decided to do something about it. I've been at it for 2 weeks, (cut calories and done some light exercising), and I haven't seen ANY results. not even an ounce. I'm so discouraged. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. (I swear I'm not cheating on what I eat). And more importantly I have no idea what else to do. Any suggestions? | |||

| some low cal foods i can't live without: lean cuisine: probably not the best for you but they're delicisous and low cal. I try to stick to the ones under 300 cal and that way i can have a little snakc. sugar free jello: yummy dessert. i think it's about 10 cal carrots and hummus popcorn: make sure it doesn't have salt or butter. this is a great snack and realyl fills you up. chicken breast: quick and easy, (on my George Foreman grill), and super low cal. salmon: a little bit of salt, pepper and lemon juice. wrap in foil and bake at 400 for 35-40 minutes. sooo good. coffee and diet coke. probably not very good for you but it's low cal, (diet coke is 0 calories), kills your appetite, helps you stay regular and feels like a treat. hope this helps! |
