I'm in (*bites nails*)... I am a yo-yo eater and dieter.  I think something like this will help me stay focused.  I will see how things go over the weekend, which is my biggest sabatoger. So, let's get this party started right!
Weight Loss how often do you weigh yourself? Mar 22 2007

Here's the really evil part about weighing yourself everyday, at least for me.  If I've gained, it starts my day off really sh*tty. If I've lost weight then I'm in a really great mood.  I've tried to talk myself into not letting that be the determining factor on how to navigate my day, but there is always this heaviness in my heart when I've gained....I feel like I'm in this hellish cycle of losing and regaining the same freaking numbers down to 143 then back up to 146 then down again to 141... Of course whehn I weighed myself today, I gained. CRAP. *sigh* Oh well, weight fluctuates is what I have to keep telling myself and it's going to be that way sometimes.

I, too am getting older and my knees are killing me.  A couple of factors you may want to consider.  Are you stretching before and after?  I hate, loathe, despise stretching but consider it a necessary evil to actually workout.  Also, do you RICE ? Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation.  http://health.yahoo.com/ency/healthwise/tw435 4spec

Try this out and hopefully things will get considerably better. Best of luck.

Start Weight: 159lbs (1/28/06)

Last weeks: 154.5lbs

This weeks: 151 lbs

This is a big milestone because I plateaued about a month ago and became super discouraged and frustrated since I work out for about 2 hours 5 days a week.

So, I think the earth has rotated in it's proper way and everyone is starting to lose weight again!  HALLELUJAH!!!
