I love bubble tea.  not the calories though.  Dracodf, there HAS to be something in the 'Burgh.  moved from there to Oregon... we have several bubble tea shops here, in salem....

I would guess that Oakland would be a good spot to look with all of the college students there.

I use a version of drea99's recipie, but I usually add a roasted jalepeno or anaheim pepper.  I like things SPICY!

For desert... what about fruit granitas?  puree fruit in blender/food processor, taste, add sugar if needed (but not more than 1/3 total volume or it won't freeze) a little lime juice, a little tequila.... zonkers!  desert and drinks all in one.

my husband did this to me night before last.  made french fries.  made chocolate milk shakes with rum. went to movie, bought kit kat bites, reeces bites and jelly beans.  why????  he doesn't like candy much, and never before in the 10 years that we have been together made the chocolate rum shake thing.  don't know what was up with that.  I just smiled and played with the food.

ok, you will LAUGH at this then... middle name is Carter (don't ask me why, but I am stuck with this one.) people often mis pronouce Kirstin... I am Keerstin clearly "IN" and not "Curst"  for the first syllable.  My husband's last name is "Curtin"  I kept my maiden name because I was not about to become "Cursten" Carter Curtin.    Just wasn't happening.

I usually throw in fresh basil or oregon when I do the garlic toast.  I thin k I will try just keep ing some around for sauteeing veggies and stuff in too.

oh, I could have a ball with those ingredients.

Idea 1 Tuna tossed with the whole wheat pasta, pepper and steamed veggies.  Drizzle a little olive oil and some balsamic vinegar.  would be about 450 cals

Idea 2 Fish en papiote, take the fish, some veggies and some lemon or other citrus slices, pop all onto parchment paper or aliminium foil, seal and bake for about 25 minutes.  add a starch is you want/need to

idea 3 take the soup, add more veggies, some pasta or rice and a sausage, and call it veggie soup

let me know if you need want more ideas.

ooohhh, and those are good.  I'd have to move, or brew really strong coffee or tea or something so I wouldn't smell all of the sweet chocolate smell all afternoon.  OR never have 1... I am ok as long as I have none.

I find some of my best efforts come out of this sort of experimenting.

kpearson... have you ever baked with soy flour?  I want to revamp my scone recipe and cut some of the fat and add more fiber and protein to it... maybe I can make them more like meal replacement snacks rather than just super refined treats.

Sarahkyle, I know what you mean, they told me 1358 cals. for weight loss I am eating about that many.... maintenance can't be this few.  that is too sad. did you notice the number didn't change regardless of what level of phisical activity you indicated?

I sooo want an answer to this too!!!  I have umn, never been "small" and am kinda tired of them.  have been since about 15.  If you find out anything helpful, I would really really like to know.  I am contemplating surgery as well, I am tired of the neck and shoulder tension from keeping the puppies up where they belong.

umn, this may seem a bit personal, but those who wound up smaller, did you ever have large breasts while at the weight you are trying to acheive?  I am HOPING for smaller.  I have been contemplating surgery.  I have never been smaller than a D cup, even when I was a size 2 or 4 in college.  this may give me hope...
