| Kellywood23, Your funny.. I suppose its not life threatening, but seriously sometimes I do hide upstairs eating my dinner separate from my family because of the guilt of how much cheeese I put on my plate.. :)
hmm I suppose admitting it is the first step! I feel better already. |

| :0) well black_boned_angel.. call it exageration if that makes you feel better... I just know that I have a vice and I cannot get rid of it. Its cheese and its really really really hard.. so thats my story.
Also, the trauma would not come from stopping cheese, but for any food that is bad for you that you can't stop binging on.. it could cause a person to gain weight, perhaps even cause obesity.. oh and the guilt each time they eat that thing that they can't stop eating.. thats what I consider to be the trauma involved with not being able to stop a habitual behaviour.. thats just my two cents. |

| one thing I like to do sometimes is scramble eggwhites and grate a little cheese on them toss em in a wheat or flower tortilla and wrap em in tin foil throw em in the freezer for those days that I'm in a hurry but still want my egg fix.. not TOO heavy on the calories.. | |||

| I have not been addicted to anything except coffee and yes cheese. Its clearly an addiction.. I can't stop eating cheese the way some people can't stop eating chocoloate.. I know that chocolate has caffeine and cheese does not but I crave cheese and I can't stop the craving.. nothing else will do.. definition: addiction - the state of being enslaved to a habit or practice or to something that is psychologically or physically habit-forming, as narcotics, to such an extent that its cessation causes severe trauma I can say with some confidence that food can by psychologically habit-forming. All sorts of foods, not just cheese, but for me its the cheese. And if I don't stop.. I could end up to large to fit out my front door! I would say that could cause severe trauma. |

| Actually I'm from San Francisco but transplanted to New York...
I just LOVE the combonation of cheddar and Tomoto on spaghetti. I love all cheeses on spaghetti but thats my favorite. And all of my friends (even the italians who said I was crazy) all eat my spaghetti the same way.. I'm a trend setter! ;) I'd say don't knock it till try it but... look where its got me :( |

| Oh dear what have I done? I've created a cheese monster. I was thinking of doing the lemonade cleanse to try to break my habit of cheese, but dang-it I'm just not willing to change my lifestyle all together yet.. I'm young! I should be enjoying all the cheese this world has to offer ;) | |||

| Ha! Yeah those of you who could care less about cheese.. I envy you.. sorta, I mean its cheese, I don't know where i'd be without it.. er I suppose I'd be skinny!
Yeah I guess I just crave that melted cheddar texture on pasta.. its SO hard to try to cut down.. In my head I'm like, its only cheese its not like I'm eating cookies, fried chicken or ice cream.. So thats how I get my brain to allow me to be ok with eating it. I did read though that when you use stronger cheese in your meals it helps you to use LESS.. which I suppose is the answer.. I think not keeping it in the house is a good idea since I'd be too lazy to go to the bodega for more. Also like the idea of cutting it out and allowing one crazy cheezefest meal a week. Thanks you guys! Oh whats this about laughing cow? |
