| Kids SHOULD Diet. Its time out for parents and people making excuses for there childrens weights.
There is a weight problem of epidemic proportions. IM 17 and I started this site back when I was 15 and about 30 pounds over weight. I for one am glad for these types of websites. Because the truth is the information is not out there. I asked my PE coach countless times for dieting advice and a dieting regimen only to be denied. Now maybe the kids you are referring to are the immature ones that lack the maturity to diet correctly, but if kids dont start dieting and dont start watching their weight and what they put into their bodies we are gonna have a worse problem on our hands in the next couple of years. Immature kids should not diet. |

| no this has been all personal i was in a size 38 and now im back to 36 and i want my 34 back lol I will walk an extra mile today but from what i have heard ont eh forums if you continue to deprive yourself you will just wan tit more. Tell someone not to press a button and put one in front of them....they will press it. Its not really about depriving yourself. Donuts are a once every 3 weeks food lol. I think she was trying to make me not eat it lol! I know my calories and i know exactly how many to eat so that I dont start to gain weight or platue |

| Yeah I think I will....lol I havent had any sweets for a VERY VERY long time...i have been using splenda and i just want one donut and i think i will....because I dont have to deprive myself just be sensible. So one donute for 3 weeks of goodness is probably not to much to ask:) | |||

| not trying to discourage you, but it depends on what you have eatin. You CANNOT trick your body...it will win...you may not gain wait really fast but it is likley that you have done some real damage to your metabolism....your body will always win(or lose depending on how you look at it)...i suggest you start taking steps to fix the problem by eating at least 1200 GOOD calories. | |||

| Well besides the aspartame that is in rat poison...The juries also out on whether it causes cancer, and may possible mess with your CNS. Small doses of aspartame over long periods. Thats all speculation. The big reason you should try to stay away is that the diet drink fools your brain into thinking its getting something sweet, but your stomach knows different! You will get an overhwlming hunger...but if you can handle it... | |||

| Well lol I didnt mean spoonful lol i was very tired. I meant per 3/4 cup. But they change it up. Sometimes its Chicken, Shrimp, and or Steak. So i think I will just look up the nutrition information on it all. Thanks for the whole 3 ounce thing that really helps me visuallize. And yes theystir fry it on an grill and yes it is so good. | |||

| Since you are a girl...your body needs at least 1200 calories just to function. So maybe 1400...you are very pretty btw...are you trying to have muscle defintion? | |||

| Just got off of work at 11. I am very concerned and I dont want to take a step backwards. I got in a good 1000 calories before I went to work. At work they served Rice Steak and Cabbage mixture. I was smart enough to check the nutrition info on the rice. 170 calories per 3/4 cup, but that is excluding the steak and cabbage and the vegetable oil. I had 4, 3/4, cups of the combined food. I kind of felt bad, but then I quickly got rid of the thought once I started work. From 4:00 to 11:00 I was on my feet and at least walking. There were a few instances of lifting 50 bags of rice. *I work at a Tokyo Steakhouse* So if I give each spoonful 300 calores and I had for. Thats 2200 calories all together. I went walking this morning for 30 minutes at a midly fast pace. Couple that with the work I was doing at work, I am a busser btw, Im really worried that im undercalorie. Im not really feeling very hungry or overlyweak, save for that im tired from work. So with this information anyone believe I am in danger...I have to work the rest of the week, and I have decided that since as the week progresses we have more customers that I will not walk in the morning. I am very excited because I have lost almost 10 pounds and 2 inches off of my waist. I do not in all good faith want to take a step backwards. Again I apologize I dont have a pedometer to calculate how many steps I take but I assure you it is very vigorous work. Lots of cleaning of tables, grills...and we work hard. So anyone have any advice? I know its long but thank you very much. I tried to be as concise as possible. | |||

| I think I can get a good 500 in for breakfast 170 in for a snack inbtween a low card energy bar. another 500 for lunch. whats that 1170....and i guess eat a sensible amount of what i get at work...sense its manditory to eat. I know the rice is 200 calories a cup...so i gues i can add some diced chicken. and cabage to make about 2000 calories as a total and I know ill burn it all off. What do you guys think? I knwo i burn alot im cleaning grills and tables...on my feet constantly | |||

| im trying to get to 1800 i just dont wan tto start to gain weight cause 1800 cals a day for 2 days is 3600..which is a pound....even though i walk 40minutes a day at a moderatly fast pace...im just scared ill gain weight | |||

| well since you arent trying to lose alot of weight you can simply power walk. Just do it fast enough to where you can carry a conversation. If you can carry a tune though you are going to slow...and just cut back on your calories and u should reach your goal in aobut 2 weeks | |||

I have had 1488 calories today....i do have muscles i am told i have a muscluar build they just arent showing,,there is still flab there...ok.... So if I eat 1500 calories and burn 500 with cardio/walking/jumping rope...wont i go into starvation because I have only had 1000?! |
