Good job Sharz96! Keep it up. I also will continue to log my weight each week. It's that whole accountability thing. Another option would to be to start a thread of our own and update the weights like mandi started. Everyone have a great weekend!!! |

| I'm back on it!
Start weight: 191 (9/10/07) Current weight: 159.2 I was so frustrated that I had spent 2 months at the same weight I took a couple of weeks off. It must have worked since I lost 3 lbs. this week. Only down from here!!!! Good luck to everyone! Hang in there sharz....you'll get there!!! |

Current Weight: 158.4 Gained .4 lbs. I am so frustrated. I've lost 1.6 lbs in the last 5 weeks (after having lost 32 lbs since Sept.). I have been keeping my calories around 1200, without splurging, and started walking again a couple weeks ago, thinking that would jump start me again. I'm thinking my body is in starvation mode??? Current weight: 160.0 Congrats to everyone who lost. I am struggling. I have been at the exact same weight for the last 3 weeks. No matter what I eat, nothing seems to budge it! It is finally nice outside, so went for an hour walk last night and am excited to start walking on a regular basis again. Hopefully that will get the scale moving in a downward spiral again! Current weight: 159.8 (-4.4) I've been sick the last 2 days, so its easy to lose weight when you can't keep anything down. I'm sure I'll have a gain next week. But it is nice to finally be under 160 for the first time in probably 13 years!!!! |

| Hopeful....I know what you mean about getting sick very quickly of lean cuisines, etc. Each Monday I bring enough food to last the week. i.e...I bring egg salad, pita bread (or your bread of choice), carrots & celery, fruit, individual frozed steamed veggies,pretzels, etc. The next week I might bring turkey, and the next week, chicken salad (all made with fat free miracle whip). I also throw in a lean cuisine or something similiar since I would also get sick of eating the same thing 5 days in a row. I have a co-worker who is also trying to lose weight and we have began to alternate weeks, I bring lunches for the first week, she brings lunches for the second. I only have to think about lunches every other week, it saves eating out (calories & $$$), and gives us variety every week. | |||

| One is the dropping down past those 10 lb. increments (i.e. I just dropped below 170)...and knowing I'll never go back up past 170 again. Next goal is 160!! Another motivator to me is the drop in clothing size. I have went from a size 20 to a 14 in 4 months. It is so much fun to be able to shop in misses-sized stores for the first time in years and to have people you haven't seen in a while notice your weight loss. Probably my biggest motivator though is my 18-year old daughter who struggles with her weight also. We are currently close to the same weight. I want to be a good role model for her, showing her that she can live a healthy lifestyle also. It must be working a little, because she has started eating a little healthier and working out occasionally which is a good start. |

12/14/07 - 171lbs. No change. I should have know the 3 lbs. from last week was too good to be true! lol better luck next week! Blayne...you should be proud of what you have accomplished already! 80 lbs. is amazing!!! Keep it up and you'll be there in no time!!! |

11/30/07 - still at 174. I actually lost 1 1/2 pounds but that was only after I gained that much from all the junk I ate at Thanksgiving and then all the leftovers that lingered around my house for the next few days--darn pumpkin pie!!! | I agree with Brandy. Your body is in starvation mode. You are probably not consuming enough calories for the physical activity you are doing. Also, you are building muscle with the all of the physical activity also. I would assume you have lost inches but it just hasn't translated into a loss in weight. Am I right???
I would try upping the calories to maybe 1500 or so. If that doesn't work, change up either your diet or your work outs. I know a lot of people would disagree with me, but have a free day or two on your diet, or skip a few days exercising. Anything to mix it up a little and let your body know it isn't starving to death. I plateaud a few weeks ago. I had a free weekend (didn't binge, but had mexican and chicken and noodles!) and didn't exercise for a few days, and then got back on my regular routine, and now I have lost 5 lbs in the last couple of weeks.
