Didn't mean to post and then disappear. Last weekend I ended up spending in NY for a friends birthday so I was totally away. I've also kept true to staying away from the pc during the weekdays as an attempt to not get to work late... the afternoons I spend day dreaming. life is at the same fantastic and awful. I do need to make health a priority though.. as all else falls down ive returned to bad habits...

So... cake has been stalking me. Last week... three birthcakes were brought to the office. Yesterday... a wedding... tons of cake. Today... birthday party... tons of cake and they had an extra cake for mine and my guys annie... so more cake. Damn... I feel fat. I know I'm not but I feel it. I'm going to Portugal soon so things will change. Maybe I'll find myself again while I'm there. You'll soon go back to the 150s Oli =) |

Never did the ballet... I did do some p90x weight training this week... and I did it once last week too. On the bad side... that's all I did and right now I feel like dumping some chocolate chips into my peanut butter jar and eat it all with a spoon =| |

Oli... just remember that you're body is in fact weird and that it always enjoys pissing you off with the ups and downs =P The thing you can't forget is that overall... it is going down. You have come SO far!!! I remember you getting pissed off when you were really close to breaking into the 160s... now the same is happening but getting to the 150s. Just wait it out through the ttom. The downward line will come back again. I've been having a hard time exercising... I just keep putting it off. That mixed with my green tendencies translates to me wanting to buy a bike and use it to get to work. I've been looking around and I think I may get one today. If that happens, I am looking forward to see the scale going down as my body gets shocked back into exercise. |

ya... i used to do ballet when i was younger. Sometime this year I got my hands on the NYC ballet workout dvds and they're really good. They're relaxing while giving you a good work out =)

I've decided that I will spend tomorrow doing all sorts of "work outs." 1. Running to the animal shelter 2. Cleaning at the shelter 3. Running back home 4. Vacuuming and washing floors 5. Weight Training 6. Yard work and maybe... just maybe... If I'm up for it... some ballet at the end of the day to stretch and relax. |

Uhhh... today I will walk with my hubby and damnit I will do weights. The thing is... I love doing weights... it's my favorite kind of work out. I really shouldn't have any excuse to keep putting it off. =) So today will be a good day. How's everyone else? |

hmm... the summer isn't over. I truly believe that we've messed up the weather and everything is pushed over about a month =P It better... because I'm going to Portugal in September and I'm counting on beach weather still being around. I'm actually about 2lbs lighter than last weekend so that is a success. I didn't really exercise but I stopped binging on sweets. The loss just shows that I was truly eating too much since I'm not even doing anything special now and my body is just going back to where it "wants" to be. Or so I believe...
We were planning on going to the beach... let's see. We truly are a lazy couple. I haven't touched sand all year.

Cool to see that you've been using the Bowflex a lot. If I remember correctly you doubted that it was a good investment. It seems like you're definitely enjoying it =) I haven't really spent much time on the computer since almost half my job is on the computer, so I'd probably be worse at answering stuff on msn than here =P |

Well... the good news is that the dog is being adopted which means I'll have more me time and I'll come here and be a better posting buddy =) The bad news is that because of "lack of time" *cough*cough* negligence... I dropped off the dog last Wednesday to be taken to the hospital and the shelter only took him at the end of the week which made him spend the whole weekend at the hospital. Yesterday they called me all matter-of-fact telling me to drop off his meds today because he was going home. Long story short... I don't like how this ended in terms of how they dealt with it but I am happy that he is being adopted. My husband is pissed off because I dropped off the dog expecting him back the next day and we were waiting for him all these days only to be told we're not getting him again. The not saying goodbye and not preparing himself for it really hit him. He's actually quite upset... Food wise... I will mark some progress. I ate well over the weekend; however, yesterday I did not. I'll blame it on the news. Today I have been good and I will continue to be.
That will change as now it's time to get my life on track. PS. Of course I can send you a postcard =) You'll just have to tell me where to mail it to and it is as good as there =) |

Same doggy. When he got his cast changed two weeks ago the people messed up and with time the cast cut into his leg =( He only started acting weird the beginning of this week and when I took him to the animal hospital on Tuesday, they took the top part of the cast out and it had a huge gash on his leg =| two more days and he would have had to have his leg amputated... because it would have reached the bone. When it comes to me... nothing has changed. To give you an idea... I just finished eating a chocolate bar, which I was using to scoop peanut butter =| I have requested vacation as I intend to go to Portugal for two weeks in September, so I would really like to get things under control by then. I should be motivated... |

Hey. I'm all up for maintenance. Go ahead! I never really stuck with one amount of cals anyway. I give myself a range. So I logged... I went a bit crazy on nuts and I thought I would be way out of my range but unless I am miscalculating something, I did well. I ended up with 1438 cals, which is about what I usually aim for when I'm logging and not exercising. I did end up with 40% cals from fat o_O. That's because of all the nuts. Anyway... it was a good first day and it was not as terrible as I remember it to be =P |

Ok... so I'm about two pages worth of posts late but I wanted to say that Chris... you saying that I inspired you to get involved in a project is about the best compliment I've had in a while. So thanks for that. I'm actually involved in a lot of causes and even my job is pretty much a cause. Unfortunately... the more I do the more I realize that needs to be done and the worse I feel. I want to do more! Change of topic... I've never heard of the books you are all talking about. From your descriptions they look worth checking out... even though I'm a fantasy girl myself. |
