thats my biggest problem lol my family eats horrible. I live in a house with 3 younger kids who eat reeses cups and fruit snacks as their main meal. And then i get yelled at whenever i ask my mom to buy healthy foods Embarassed , good thing im moving out and on my own in 26 days :)

i'm a woman boxer, i plan on going pro in a few years. One thing i will tell you is this...

i used to have an eating disorder as well, *before i started boxing*.. now, i didnt do boxing BUT i played field hockey ... and when i came out to field hockey while i was recovering, that was THEEE MOST horrible experience of my life.. i would black out, get dizzy, become ridiculously fatigued. Honestly, if ur still "recovering" and not "recovered" for atleast a good month after recovery. Then i HIGHLY suggest you not do it.

i wouldn't lie to ya to persuade u not to go out for it because boxing is amazing, i love it. But physically very demanding, theres no way u will be able to do it while in recovery just because ur body is not prepared to do what your asking it to.

i have about 9 million inspiration outfits lol. I had an eating disorder and got super skinny and ever since ive been back to eating normal, it seems like fat just clings to me like a magnet. So all my clothes that i used to be able to fit in are what makes me want to keep eating healthy because i really dislike buying bigger clothing.

or maybe your too focused on just cardio too much. Since you are at a good weight why dont you try doing some weight lifting? That's what really helps shape your body. If your unsure how to use the weights ask the people working at your gym and im sure they'd be more then happy to help or even give you a plan that you can do w/ lifting.

1 light english muffin - 100 cals

lean turkey patty - 160 cals

(added with lettuce, low carb ketchup, and mustard) - maybe around 5-10 calories

and a cup of carrots - roughly 55 cals

1 jello snack - 10 cals

total estimate = about 335 calories

tasted damn good too :]

hah im the opposite, when i went to wildwood, NJ... I left weighing 115 and came home weighing 112.. and we only went for 5 days lol

Alright i get ya, my only problem is trying to find the foods that can make me reach 1700, 1800, 1900, 2000 etc. Because thats where i always seem to fall short ..

I'm the same way.. and it shouldnt be that way, cause im the skinniest amongst all my family memebers. But everytime i do it.. they bat an eye and then talk to me about it like IM the one who SHOULD be dieting when in reality they should be doing it along with me because their obese, im just trying to trim myself up

This has only been going on for maybe a few days tho.. this isnt something ive been CONTINUOUSLY or PURPOSELY doing.. im just unsure on what to do with trying to eat healthy without eating junk food.. cuz it seems to be all we have. But i truely do eat only around 1200 and exercise off 600-800.. i burn off 600 on the elliptical too.. then go shadow box, and hit the heavy bag and then work arms and abs and do 10 more minutes on the elliptical and then go into the sauna... never said it was easy but its what i do. And then at night ill go to boxing for 2 hrs.. and those days are where its hardest because im really low on time and calories.. im not trying to do it to myself.. i just dont know WHAT to do with myself. I'm almost all out of my oatmeal.. only 2 more apples left.. 2 more sweet potatoes .. and luckily theres eggs and carrots still in the thing, otherwise its all kid food

Well the last thing i want is THAT! Im a boxer.. my muscle is what i try to work hard to maintain.. definitely not wanting that.. im not trying to get to be a stick figure, im past that.. boxing is what got me out of that. There is no way in helllllllll i want to be put into starvation mode, i mean i do want to lose some of the fat i had to gain because of my eating disorder, but by all means i dont want to lose muscle to drop pounds, i want to lose fat to drop pounds

I know that whole roll.. i dealt with an eating disorder last summer. I understand starvation mode and the 1200 calorie rule. I'm just asking if i could possibly gain weight or hault weight loss by eating in those calories at night .. thats almost around 600 calories in one sitting or atleast around 500-600

I'm 16 yrs old. So i'm a student too. On top of all of that crap.. so i feel u on little to no time. The only time i have is night time.. and by then im beat tired anyways. I would go buy things.. but i dont have money of my own.. i don't have my job anymore because they didnt need me at it.. all of my money goes towards boxing

Also on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.. i train for boxing along with 1 hr and 1/2 at the gym.. im really stuck and dont know what to do as far as calorie wise, im just happy as long as i hit 1200 while trying to save food up until this thursday when she gets her pay check

that is some B-S, swimming is definitely a workout, ur using every part of your body. In the summer time id wake up and go outside and swim every morning and i toned up quite well from it.

better you then me hahah i hate those, im stuck doing them at boxing all the time and i think they kill my back more then anything, then again thats probably cause i do it wrong haha.

Anyway my new talent is the ability to jump rope for 10 minutes straight :D

the best time to have it is right after you work out, the protein helps. But i have chocolate whey, and i just mix it with skim milk and ice, and sometimes a packet of artificial sugar, whatever kind u use.. tastes great just like that.

oh boy.. what to say what to say. If you have any clue in ur right mind and have been around these forums.. ud know everything ur doing is all wrong and bad for you. First off being 80 lbs at 5'0 .. no. Ur fine where ur at stay at 89, ull look healthier opposed to gaunt and sickly, thats just wrong. Maintain ur calories, use the tools provided for you on here to figure that out.

to be honest im the same way once it gets hot out, im outside 24/7 and i just dont eat because im always doing somethin.. god love the hot weather haha i should just move to FL and make dieting easy on myself. BUT that is def. not good that ur barely eating ANYTHING i mean  u should still have ur meals and figure out ur calories to be atleast up to 1200

My gram wouldn't say anything because i think shes afraid my mom would just shun away whatever she'd have to say. My aunts and uncles know i dont like him. They just dont truely understand WHY, ya know? She has 4 other brothers and sisters and i could easily talk to any of them but they'd never do anything i think they'd just listen to me and thats it..

Well i dont think that we should be like omitted to an abuse center or anything because he hasnt hit any of US he just threatens it but he will hit her and not hesitate once about it. I dont think we need to go to one of those homes seriously, we dont. Its not an every night thing but it is a weekly thing. It has happened plenty of times where i can't count. But im just so confused on why she won't just divorce him and leave... i dont see why she puts herself through it, today i wrote her an email expressing what i feel about it because i start crying if i talk about it and then i cant say what i want to cause i become hysterical since its so bottled up, im hoping it'll open up her eyes when she reads it..
