| what is going on ladies???
I haven't been on here in a long time...but holly made me remember that this really has helped! Well, I am at 148, I have gained 3lbs. But I have been working out with a trainer at the YMCA 5 days a week. I figure that has to be muscle right? Looks like everyone is doing well! Keep going ladies...I like this forum more than the others!!! |

| i don't know what is the lowest...but I do know the HIGHEST which is fettucini alfredo. Which is a total shame since it is glorious.

| lexyt, I haven't seen anyone lose 5lbs in a week by running. don't get too worried on the lbs lost b/c muscle weighs more than fat. You should concentrate on feeling better about yourself and noticing changes in how your clothes fit and what not. I am working out more than ever before and I noticed that my body shape is changing. I may not be losing lbs quickly, but the better I feel when working out, carries over into how I feel about myself. Just give yourself time and try not to rush. We all want a quick fix, but just work on feeling better and I promise you will look your best!
Good luck to everyone this week. Still at 145. Not budging...kinda discouraging...but I will deal. I think I need to evaluate the amount of fat in my diet and try to decrease it. Keep up with that water everybody!!! |

| when i go out, i drink water while everyone else is drinking. it keeps me feeling like i am drinking and no one bothers me about not having a "drink" in my hand. I am always the DD now! As far as food, I eat before I go then i am not hungry. Or have people over to your house and make sure you only have healthy stuff to eat. Just some ideas....

| thanks for not giving up on me everyone! well, I am still at 145 and I got a hour long workout in. I am going to join the YMCA next week I think...i have to come up with the building fee...may wait till next paycheck. Anyways, i am pumped about that.
My husband and I just planned a vacation to the beach in august. We haven't been on vacation in 4 years. We haven't even been able to take off work before. I am really excited!!!! I REALLY want feel good in a bathing suit. I need to post some update pictures for you guys, I can tell a difference now compared to the pictures in my profile ( I was at 163 in those)...I will take some this weekend! |

| well, i think we are all having a bad day! I thought I was okay then I came home and logged my cals and I am about 300 over...I was shocked b/c I don't feel like I ate more or anything that bad...spaghetti did me in. But i cut my portion...whatever...it is also ttom.

| i did yoga for the first time yesterday and now my wrists feel weird! Anyways, I am still at 149.6 so I need to log it in cc...boo. That means I gained a lb this week.
Holly, I am all about pizza, spaghetti, yellow cake with chocolate icing, and of course ice cream above all other things. Well, i am planning on doing yard work this weekend and my niece has a ballet recital (she is 4) tomorrow. I am just going to spend a lazy afternoon with my mom. I got her a nice tea set for mother's day. I am going to run today then go SHOPPING! Totally excited!! I need new pants! |

Anyways, still at 148, it is a day away from ttom...so I am wanting chocolate....I made the cake that holly mentioned with adding just a can of coke. It really hit the spot!! It was great. I didn't even need the frosting. I just liked the cake.

| still 148, very happy. I tried on skirt I got a long time ago and it fit for the first time in a long time. I don't know how long I have gone without wearing a skirt. I'm really pale and always felt gigantic in skirts. Still going to the tanning bed. I don't go very long because of the pale thing, but I can tell a bit of a difference. I just wanted to see if I could wear shorts this summer. Anyways, I was happy about that.
I am done with school this semester. i am taking a summer course..but it shouldn't be too hard. I have to get used to just working 8 hrs a day now...I am used to being too busy to do anything...haha I hope everyne has an incredible weekend! Heads up everyone!! Keep smilin! |

| holly: YOU CAN DO THIS!! i bet the parties were fun! I threw a bridal shower this past weekend for my friend at work at my house. It was fun...but I made lots of treats and things....still have left overs tempting me!!!
I am in for making 150 to 140s group like carie mentioned. It could be a transition group! Anyways, still down this morning! Feelin good! I took another final yesterday and I think I did really well. It was the first time in awhile that I took a test and felt good about it afterwards! Anyways, my finals are over and now I can start working out. I am so happy it is time for summer fun!!! | I just got home from a 4 HOUR FINAL!! I hate tests! Working full time and going to grad school full time is SO HARD! I can't even think straight! I have more finals next week......I doubt I will make it to the 140s before May!!

| Congrats emskirooni!! That is incredible!!! So, how is the lateral thigh trainer? Is it boring staying in one place...I guess it would be similiar to staying in place on a treadmill or something.
Anyways, I went to red lobster for lunch and got the roasted tilapia in a bag (1/2 portion) and it was AWESOME! Low cal too. I didn't check the fat though...I will do that now. I am gong to do pilates tonight after class. I am slowly getting all the homework and stuff prepared for finals so I will soon be stress free!! WOOHOO SUMMER! |

Stormsrun: don't feel guilty. We all need a treat sometimes. Depriving yourself may hurt you in the long run!! Just pick yourself up and start over!!! acaruthers: don't get discouraged. Try and look at how much water you are drinking and the amount of sodium you normally get. If it is really high then you might retain water. I am sure the exercise did help your first week, but don't lose hope yet. We are big on sodium intake on this forum, so always check that out! My first week starting this I think I lost like 4-5 lbs. I am not an expert or anything but maybe it was water weight or something. I average like a lb a week or less sometimes now. I am gradually getting to my goal. Switch something up, for example I starting having oatmeal for breakfast instead of one of those diet drinks in the morning and that helped. Hey guys, any other advice for acaruthers???? I just wanted to share that my best friend is having a birthday party for her dog today and it should be so cute! We are having hot dogs and a dog shaped cake and of course treats for the puppies! Isn't that funny?!?!?! Also...I promise to be good and drink tons of water!!! |
