It said 1 week if you started it the Sunday after you started your period, and that you were protected immediately if you started the day you started your period, so I should have been okay on that point |

| Hey, I'm 18 and look 12, it could always work the other way around, haha. STILL. Like everyone else has said, they should have insisted on I.D. at that club. It's so sad that she's doing that! And that model girl that p0nda posted about.... |

| Coloring :) As in hair and eyes and skin. Mainly, dark hair, blue eyes, paleish skin. Cases in point: James Marsden and James McAvoy (and apparently the name James is something I find attractive) | |||

| I've been wondering something similar. I always wipe down the cardio machines (especially the recumbant bike) after I am finished, and most other people do too. The same goes for the mats in yoga/pilates/etc. But the weight machines never get wiped down it seems. I assume that SOMEONE cleans them off during the day, but the people actually working out on them never do... should we? Haha | |||

| Nope, we never have had a shoes-in-the-house rule. When we got the new carpet, there was a short lived "no shoes on the new carpet" rule. |

| memorizing things. I can memorize things really easily. I can study anything with flashcards, and put something to a song, I've got it. It makes it really easy to learn lines for plays, I don't even have to try. If we run it a lot with scripts, the first time without scripts I'll have it. |

| I gave it up 3 years ago I think, for lent. I hadn't had any soda in a while anyway, so it was pretty easy to be like "okay, not drinking it at all now" I don't think I really felt better though, just the same. I always drank caffiene free anyway, so the whole caffiene issue wasn't there |

| The Lounge | What's the most embarrassing thing in your closet? | Mar 05 2008 21:38 (UTC) |

| Um, everything? Except I'm not embarassed about then, but most people would be... I wear the stupidest clothes. I have huge vests, over sized sweaters, skinny pants, baggy jeans, short dresses that I wear with my neon blue tights (no matter what color this dress is), cut off overalls, fuzzy boots that I sometimes wear WITH the cut off overalls or neon blue tights... I could keep going | |||

| Yeah, it sounds like you're eating too late or too much for dinner. I go to bed pretty early (between 9-10) and I try and eat no later than 8. | |||
| Young Calorie Counters | Telling Parents I want to be a Veggie! | Jan 14 2008 21:32 (UTC) |

| I would just tell them, and offer to make meals a couple of nights a week. If your dad/mom insists on having meat at dinner, make a side dish that can be your whole meal. I'm not vegetarian, but I don't eat any meat from mammals, so it throws my parents for a loop sometimes. What we do a lot is make chili, so my parents always set some aside for me that's meatless. Don't worry, once you get started, it's pretty easy to work out. |

| You guys have been super helpful I don't drink (I think alcohol tastes icky, I also don't like coffee, I'm gonna be the worst college student evar, lol), so I'm good there, yay! I'm most worried about food. Did you guys ever find the time to workout? I know I'll be walking a lot to classes, but that doesn't seem like enough. |

| 1. Chocolate Pecan Pie/Derby Pie/Tarheel Pie (they're all basically the same)
2. Pumpkin Ribbon Pie 3. Chicken Pot Pie 4. Apple Pie 5. Pudding Pie Honorable Mention: Quiche, only I eat it crustless (my mommy makes it for me, and uses the gross store bought crust), so I don't count it as pie. |

| Young Calorie Counters | Any Vegetarian/ Vegan Teens out there? Need some advice. | Jan 13 2008 14:15 (UTC) |
8 |
| Hey! I'm not a vegetarian, but I was looking through anyway, and I can help you with earrings! The first thing you will need are NEEDLE NOSE PLIERS. They are the best things in the world for making earrings. Most pairs also have a built in "wire cutter" at the base. You can get them from any craft store (Michaels, A.C. Moore, whatever). Next you will need the actual hooks, which are also available at craft stores. Then you need the wire to put beads on, just look for earring wire at your store. Then get beads that you like! It's not too hard once you have all the supplies. If you need more help getting started, look online. Here is a really easy project: Bead Drop Earrings |

| I agree completely on those "roll" bars. I do enjoy their other bars, but not as much as Luna bars. Grapes are the best road food, my favorite anyway. |

| The Lounge | looking for money saving tips | Jun 20 2007 16:03 (UTC) |

| Hmm, well, a big one would be to drive less! Consoladate all your trips, especially if there's a few that you can do on the same side of town. Also, go grocery shopping once a week, and no more. You might spend a lot on food for that one trip, but then you won't spend money on food for the rest of the week! You also won't spend money on gas to drive to the grocery store. Well, that's what I've got. I'm probably not much help (being 17 and all), but I figured I'd try. |
