Good afternoon girls. How is everyone? I'm on my break so I decided I'd stop by and say "hey!" After weighing myself this morning I am super motivated and excited. To be under 200 FOR REAL feels great. I have a new found energy. My next goal is to get to 175. After that it will be the last 25 lbs and my goal of 150. It feels unreal. I was 155 in high school and I thought I was a COW! And I played 3 Varsity sports. Just shows you how screwed up peer pressure can be. Anyway, I'm all grown up now and I know what I need to be at to be healthy. Since my last post a few months ago lots has happened: - I dumped my bf of 5 years. Long story. But I have a new one and he is great! -I started a new job. I left Ford and work for Lexus of Beverly Hills as a finance manager. -I turned 30! -I converted to the Temple of Blackberry. Semi addicted. I am one of those! Lots of changes, but all for the good. Except for the Blackberry thumb. |

Hi Ladies, I am back! again! lol. Dalma and Aly- OMG!!! You guys look so amazing! I am so beyond proud of you. You have no idea. Fell off for a minute. Started a new job and it took over my life. Last time I check I was @ 201. I believe I weigh less now. Will weigh myself tomorrow a.m. and let you know. Started @ a size 18. Now in a 12/10. Most dresses I am a 10. Suits a 12. Seperates 10/12(14 is too big! Yay) and my tops are medium. No longer XL or even L. And my yoga gym pants are baggy. My goal is to get to 150 this time around. We'll see how far away I am tomorrow. : ) Hugs and kisses to all the new girls! |

MUPPET: Stop it! Figure out the real reason you are eating. I know it probably tastes really good, but are you actually hungry when you are eating it? I nip the whole "tasty leftovers from the family binge" in the butt by just not bringing anything home anymore. I also know that when I am stressed out I use that as a reason to eat whatever I want. Not trying to sound holier than thow, just saying. And you already know that in the long run two bad days aren't gonna hurt you. : ) You will be fine. Sorry you guys are having cruddy weather. It is beautiful here in Los Angeles. Unforch, I have to work, but I am off for the next 3 days and I plan to enjoy it and get to one-derland soooooooon!

Hi Ladies! How is everyone? I hope you all are well. I seem to pop in right when I can relate to things. Being broke BLOWS! But like they say, more money, more problems. Dalma is right. Things come up. Like the economy. I had a "fat cushion" in the bank, then the recession hit, my indestry(autos) was hit hard, and my fat cushion is no longer. Just gotta keep my head up and keep pushing along. Trying to save and get out of bad debt like everyone else. Trimming the fat in more ways than one! Lots of awesome news, though! 1. I got a second job at the gym. My membership is free, I get crazy discounts on all of my breakfast bars and crap, and I made friends with a cool personal trainer(female) and she is hooking me up! Not to mention the eyecandy that strolls in and out! 2. I am in escrow on my house. Hence the reason I wanna trim all the bad bills out of my monthly budget. 3. I am @ 201.9! I can taste One-derland right now! So close! Just...2....more....pounds!!! I am back on my 1400 caloriea day diet and I got a bodybugg so I am on my merry way to my goal! I am feeling really positive and super motivated. Hope you are, too. Have a beautiful weekend! |

| Foods | I love cheese, how can i not eat it? | Feb 08 2009 21:47 (UTC) |

I LOVED cheese, too. When I was a vegetarian it was what I added to everything to give it SOMETHING. I loved every type of cheese. Fried cheese is the best! Mmmmm....and pizza! Fresh cheese pizza. Oooh! And homemade mac n' cheese!!! I am a vegan now and sadly had to give up my cheese. It has been three weeks and although I miss my fried cheese, I feel much better for not having it. It makes my mouth water thinking about it!!!!! lol. I understand. Try lower fat cheese and on your pizza ask for "easy on the cheese" so they don't go nuts. The cheese free week was a good idea. Or how about limiting the cheese to once or twice a week? It gets easier and easier as the weeks pass. You discover other flavors to replace it with. |

Hi Ladies, I am doing a "blog-by". Lol. I am so random. I have been soooooo busy. Hello to all the newbies. Ally- I looked at your pick and almost didn't recognize you! Crazy! You look great! And I am glad to see most of the gang is still here. I pop by and read some entries every once ina while. You guys are too funny. Update on me: I have been way busy with work and school. Both very frustrating, but I am getting by. Work is slow(very effected by the economy) but it is okay and my dog walking biz is doing well. School is just nutty. I have also been busy house hunting. It is sooooo crazy/nerve racking/exciting to be out looking for something to buy, but I figure if I don't do it now(especially being in Southern California) I will not be able to for a while, if ever. I saw some way cute houses and I am going out again on Tues and Weds. FUN, FUN, FUN. I am no longer a vegetarian. I am a vegan. This has also been very time consuming. Trying to shop at a local grocery store is almost impossible unless it is literally for fruits and vegetables only. I have been doing lots of Whole Foods shopping. Has anyone tried to find a bargain at Whole Foods? Doesn't exist. But they have a great selection for me if I don't have time to cook at home. AND I MISS CHEESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is so funny you guys were talking about cheese and out of everything that is what I miss most. With all of this, I have still managed to lose. I am down to 205(lost 2 lbs in the last 2 days). I have been going to the gym for at least 45 minutes of cardio 5 days a week. I joined 24 hour fitnesss because I never have to worry about my sched and one of my friends joined. She needs to lose about 90 lbs so we both motivate eachother and don't let oneanother slack off. I have been trying so long to get under 200 and my goal is to be there by next Friday(20th). I feel good! I hope you guys do, too. Have a great weekend!!!!! |

Hey Girsl! I haven't been on in a while. School, work, and craziness! Dalma- You say it when you are ready. Until then he should know how much you care and like him by your actions. Congrats on the running! I know what you mean about the "getting it over with" feeling. I get a runner's high at about 12-13 minutes, but just getting to that takes soooo long. It seems like an eternity. I run steady at 4.9-5.2 and I have ramped it up to six for a few minutes when I hit a good song on my iPod or if I am in a mood.

wow, mladdy! 50 lbs! AWESOME! So, I TOTALLY cheated at lunch, but Oh Well! I had a BK Tender Grill W/ Mayo, 6 cheesy tots w/ Ranch, half of a coke icee, and a sundae pie! I am so bad! But I had a "nutritional" shake for breakfast. lol. Its the first day of my TOM so I don't really care. At the gym last night I did 45 minutes at level 10-16 on the elip in "Total Body" mode. Then I did 50 crunches and jogged at 5 MPH on the tread for 15 minutes. Today is my strength training day so I will probably only do about 30 of cardio. I discovered the rowing machine a few days ago and I love it! My wii says I have lost 1.1 lbs since 9 days ago. I will take it! Things are crazy! Just thought I would say "hi" and happy wednesday! |

Hi Girls, I know there prob isn't anyone on right now, but I will write anyway! Good luck to the dating ladies!!! I feel for you dalmawith the whole breaking up sitch. So, I have been pretty good about going to the gym 5 days a week for the last 2 weeks. Last night I was so proud of myself. I got home about an hour before the gym closed, changed, sped over there, did 30 on the elip and 50 sit ups. It was after work and i really, really didn't want to but I forced myself and I feel better for it. I am going to weigh myself tomorrow in the AM. I have also been eating healthier and getting back on that track. I don't know if you guys knew of my binge/purge cycle I get on sometimes(I don't call it bulimia bcuz it doesn't go on for months and months and months, but I am sure I will get a lecture on this). It lasts for a few days and when I "think" or "feel" I overate. Well, when I stay on my plan obviously that goes away, which is a good thing. Oh! I am starting my own business! I currently work for a dog walking company part time and I know I can do better than they can(customer service wise) so I am starting my own Dog Walking Service! I have over 5 years of experience working closely with canines and they are truly my passion and I would love to give up the my finance position and work for myself. I already have a few clients. It is called "Walk Me Now!" and my tag line is "Because you and your dog don't have time for amateurs." Wish me luck! I have my cards already and magnets for my SUV.

congrats dani! Exciting! liza- I know it will come off when I least expect it. I am being really good about not getting discouraged and just getting my butt to the gym. It is just frustrating. Before I went out to a Halloween party last night I went to the gym and did 45 minutes on the eliptical and jogged for 18 minutes straight! Woohoo! My endurance increases everyday. Btw, I went to the party as a Diva. I wore my party dress with matching shoes and my giant Cavalli sunglasses, carried my LV bag with pills and cigarettes in it, and carried an open bottle of Moet. It was funny. I know how you guys feel about the whole misses thing. I never had to go to the "women's" section of a store, but a few months ago I went to old navy and tried on a size large dress and it fit! Normally I wear XL, but it felt so good to get an L and have a bit of room. Its the one I am wearing in the picture. |

and I forgot to post with my last post... Sunday I go back on my 1350 calorie a day "diet". As of right now I am not hogging out. Just enjoying what I can. It will be the same Sunday, just in moderation. My plan of action is what I did with the first 15: Split things with anyone who will split with me(at dinner and such) and TONS of water. I just wanna get to 209 so bad. Its only 3 lbs but it sems like 30! lol. |

watchme- I know how you feel. I stalled out a few months ago and just stopped giving a crap. I lost about 15 lbs and then I got stuck. It was frustrating cuz I was all gungho and going strong at the gym, but the scale had stopped. Thats when I just fell off the wagon for a little while. It sounds dumb, but it worked I have lost 7 lbs in the last 3 months and eventhough it isn't the 70 I wanted to lose by now, it is something and I am back on track now. That is what matters. And even though in the last 3 days my wii says I have gained .8 lbs I am not freaking out. This is just the beginning. And I know that no matter how much you can try and tell yourself "F society's standards! How do I feel about myself? That is what matters!" society is still there. There are gonna be people who make sh*tty comments or you look at someone and think, "All I wanna do is be her size". We all go through it. We all can relate. Just know that you will get to where you want to be in due time. Believe me! I wanted to be at 150,like, yesterday. |

Reading all of your posts I realized how much I missed CC! Welcome Rabi!!!! Congrats on the weight loss. It takes a lot of determination to lose that much weight and you are half way to where you wanna be! Costumes-So all the girls at work are going as Disney Princesses, but i thought i would be funny and go as Snow White's Evil Step Mom, The Evil Queen(it is a running joke that I am a total B*&ch. maybe not so much a joke. J/k.) but every where I went was sold out. I am thinking I will just wear my Bridesmaid dress and be a beauty queen. I was gonna get a tiara, white gloves and a bouquet of flowers and a sash. We will see. If I cant find the queen costume that is my back up. Brazilians- Not as bad as they are made out to be. I didn't want some random lady there either, but she has been doing my nails for 10 years so she is more than random. After the first yank you forget about the embarrasement and the pain is what you think about. Then the pain subsides(numb) and you think, "why the frick am I doin' this anyway?". Today I did 45 minutes on the eliptical and jogged a mile on the tread. i also did 15 minutes on my wii Fit. Yay for me! Boots-One time a friend got an e-mail like that, then she got a phone call saying they mixed the e-mails up and she was actually hired. Even if you don't get that call, it is their loss, not yours! I am just cocky like that, though. lol. Have a GREAT Thursday, Girls! |

| Weight Loss | Has anyone tried hypnosis ? | Oct 29 2008 02:51 (UTC) |

My mom lost 50 lbs using hypnosis and the GI Diet. She used the hypnosis to give her motivation to be the best swimmer she could be(swims 5 days a week) and in order to do that she needed to fuel her body with good things so she used the diet. The hypnosis helped her stay on track. It reprogrammed her. She is the one standing next to me(I am in blue). She started out going once a week and now only has to go once a month for maintenance. She used it about 15 years ago the last time she lost weight. |

Hi Ladies! Thanks for the compliments! I think you guys were lookin at my mom when u said I looked tiny. I am the one in blue, just to clarify. I am not necessarily motivated by the gym. I am motivated by the things I know I can do at the gym. I know I could plan a good at home workout(especially with my wii Fit), but since I was an athlete in high school, I feel as if I need to feel like I exherted myself A LOT to feel like I actually did something, which for me only happens on an eliptical, on a treadmill, or in a class. I dont pay attention to those around me. It is much easier to do with headphones on and on a cardio machine than it is when u wanna lift weights or use a weight machine. Fortunatley, my bf goes to the gym to play basketball so that kinda makes me get off my butt and go. And eventhough I have a HR monitor, I like how the machines measure it all for me. Those are just the things I like about it. I use to hate it. Ally-I was looking at your profile and I just wanted to congratulate you on your weight loss! I hope I get in the 160's one day! And I saw you got a brazilian! LOL. I got MY FIRST ONE EVER the day before my bday(Sept. 28). wow. It hurt. The jumprope workout sounds hard on the knees, especially if you are heavy. I jumped rope a lot in high school for basketball(great for the calves and heart), but I know I couldn't do it for more than a few minutes. Even then 3 minutes was my max at a time. I try and work the jumprope in a couple times a week with my workout. Halloween Costume- How about a fairy? You can pick any color you want. Or a bridesmaid in a really hideous dress, kinda like a joke.

Hey ladies! So how does this "at home" BL challenge work? I am way motivated. I also went veggie again. No meat so far ! Woohoo! Dalma- I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your hair! I have been wanting to do something daring with mine. Watchme- I have a couple of "hows the new baby" situations, too, and they totally sucked! One was when I was at Target one of my numerous times, and I was buying a huge load(I mean a cart over flowing) of baby stuff for my cousin(she was having my God baby). I had everything in the cart; diapers, formula, clothes, etc., ecencially everything on her registry. So this lady behind me goes,"New baby at home?" and I was like"No, my cousin is having a baby." I understand that I was in yoga pants and a t-shirt and I wasn't exactly "put together", but I looked like a new mom? Geez. She saved it by saying,"that is gonna be one spoiled kid" and I smiled politely as I thought, "with a fat ass God mom!". I got over it. Then I was wearing one of my many wrap dresses to work. I deal with the public on a constant basis(people buying cars) and this customer walks in and says, "Oh. How many months are you?" I wanted to cry! Seriously. After I punched him, I wanted to cry. I was like"I am not pregnant." He looked mortified and he spoke broken english so I felt bad, but come on! It is mainly guys who make the mistake and put their foot in their mouths. An even worse story is this total a-hole older guy who came to buy a car with his wife. I was incredibly nice to them, but they wrote a letter saying that everyone was rude. Big deal, right? Well in his letter he said "Then a RATHER LARGE lady came to do our paperwork". Everyone had only read bits and pieces of the letter but they had glanced over this part and missed it, so when I got it and read it FULLY I started to cry. They wondered why and I showed them and they felt so bad. My manager called the customer and told them that if they ever set foot in this dealership again there would be trouble. That made me feel a little better. makes me laugh now. |

I just read the last couple of pages. Your challenge is cool and just might motivate me. Too late to join? If so it is okay. boots-We will welcome you with open arms here in CA! And you won't get a "dumpy" apartment. There are lots of good ones that you will be able to afford in good areas. It just depends on the part of So Cal or Nor Cal. I hope you get the job of your dreams!

Dalma- OMG! Hang gliding is on my list! I have been trying to get myself to make the appt for the last few months! They have it by the beach. that is too funny. I can cross stitch. Not well, but I can do it. Since my blankets are intended for people I finish them. If they weren't I probably wouldn't. Plus I always have a deadline. Before the baby shower usually. And I always make them too big. Oh well. Everyone that has one is really grateful to get something homemade. They always cry. Just the reaction I want! jl- I scrapbook, too! I am getting carried away with all of the stuff I do or can do. I really enjoy scrapbooking, though. I will take a couple pictures of what I have scrapbooked. |

dany- I know what you mean about the muscle cars! I love the Challenger(white w/ a blue stripe around the back!). There is a Shelby Cobra sitting outside my office right now. I got my motorcycle learners permit and went to one of the classes to get my license but ate SH** when I was almost at the end. I didn't hurt anything, but it scared me. I would love to ride motorcycles, but I'll stick to dirt. Whoever hasn't done it should seriously try! I am a pretty outgoing individual in that respect. I have also played ice hockey. I was going to start it again, but now w/ the second job I can't. But I can go back to my equestrian hunter/jumper lessons. I stopped when things got slow. Anything to do with horses is expensive, but I can go during the day! Woohoo. Oh! I have also driven a NASCAR at California Speedway at 165 MPH. I won it through Ford(that is who I work for). I loved it! I am getting my brother the experience asa gift for his b-day this year. Wow. I sound a lot more exciting on paper than in person. |
