| just got some adidas running shoes. pink and white (BONUSSS :) ) and have the best support ive ever worn. I highly recommend that brand as its been the one and only ive used. They are a bit pricey, but very worth it/ good luck! | |||

| hey all--for some reason I can't edit the start post---any ideas?? So, how are you all doing??? I took a break this past week (badd idea) for work and just to get away from the computer. I haven't weighed in, but will on Wednesday (promise) after I drink lots of water and get a chance to go to the gym :P. Any successes this week to update each other with?? This is a "race" that only the slow and steady can acheive (and I am speaking mostly to myself right now because I am soo impatient to lose this weight that I'm sabatoging all efforts in getting there. Does this make any sense? No...)....Gahhhhh....... | |||

| hey---I just had one of those days--althuough I can't say it was TTOTM (unfortunately). I have no idea what came over me (probably the stress of deciding wether to eat or not) but I am ready to start fresh tomarrow (thanks to your calorie plan :) :) ). Questions about that btw--won't the fat in the nuts and peanut butter stick a little too well if I haven't been eating enough recently?
But don't stay discouraged because that will only lead you in the wrong direction and hey--YOU'VE COME SO FARR!! So what do you say--back on track with me tomarrow? ;) |

| neeners--if I do drop belowe 1200 (hopefully not-intetional) will my body grab onto the--say--900 I have managed to eat? That is what Im really worried about. My job usually scheduals me from 4:00-11:00 pm so I usually sleep in the next day bc Im so tired. But that means I'm not awake for long enough during the day to get in (and SPACE OUT) my calories. So, even on the days when I try hard to get it all in I may not make it past 1000. But that IS ok if I only do that sometimes? Thanks :) | |||

| yes--don't have any of those things in your house!!! Have your husband (or a good girlfriend) keep you accountable for not buying that stuff (--maybe have your husband see your grocery receipts or something) and then write out the pros and cons of giving up the stuff. I think you'll find the list on cons might not be as long you'd think ;) Good luck!! | |||

| HK, I know I should be getting closer to 1200, but I am trying to get there from previously eating anywhere between 200 and 400 calories a day. Rihgt now I'm consentrating on eating healthily and slowly upping my intake so I couldn't just jump to 1200 or I'd gain weight like crazy! Don't worry I know all about the health risks of eating less, but I need to do this in a way that won't make me freak and a way that won't make me give this "getting better" all up.
About eating more carbs, I think I'm going to stick to those found in Veggies, fruits, and nonfat dairy products although eventually I wouldn't rule out the possibility of an occasional bowl of cereal :) |

| im going to a wedding saturday--a little nervous bc I'll be there from 2-late which means I will havve trouble eating anything bc I wont know what's in it. If they have a fruit bowl or raw veggies maybe...So saturday wont be a problem with eating too much (although I really want to work up to eating 1000 calories a day before too long). Sunday---I still got to figure out :/ | |||

| I've found that a lot of the times I'm "hungry" really all I am is extremely dehydrated. Invest (haha $10) in a good 32 oz. Nalgene bottle and keep it on hand. I like adding lemon juice and splenda for extra flavor. Also, Crystal Light is a great option as well. Another thing---be sure that what you are eating is a lot of fiber and protien which should sustain you better than a chunk of white bread or something.
