Hi.. mine if I join too?

height-5'2

cw-115ish

gw-100-105

College got the best of me T-T In hs, I had time to be active so I was 105ish and toned. I've definitely gain freshman 10 plus flab.. -___- I love food and it's really hard for me to turn away from sweet carbs.

I also have a problem if you guys dont mind helping me out. Im pretty much living with my boyfriend now and for some reason, he is against me losing weight (The only excuse he gives is that I'm fine). But I'm not happy with myself so I want to do it for me. (As for him, he has really good metabolism and time to exercise so hes slim) For him, food is one of the best things in life and he wants me to enjoy it too. Instead of eating less, he wants me to exercise but as you all know, you dont lose much if you do one w/o the other.  During the summer, I exercised with him but because we ate out alot, I didnt lose much. We eat almost every lunch and dinner together and if I eat a small portion, or less meat and tons of veggies he gets annoyed. How do I handle this.

Thank you! :)

Young Calorie Counters Late Night Eaters? Dec 24 2007

I feel your stress. :( Never had this late night eating habit until college year.. there's so much work that students have to give up sleep to do homework.  And when you're up during night too, it's easy to get hungry and start snacking on junkfood because they're so fast and easy.

Maybe substitute your carbs with raw veggies instead.. with a dipping so it doesnt get boring.. hummus? Hehe I should take my own advice but its hard since my friends are snacking on junkfood and I just want to reach for those chips.. D:
