I am 5'4'' and I currently weigh 175. I have an athletic build so I have quite a bit of muscle! Which is good but i still would like to get my weight down. I am happy to see that there are more people on CC that are my height. i always thought I was the short one and it was hard for me to gauge where I should be! Thank you all nd good luck to you

Again thanks. I had thought about turbo jam but i saw the Slim in Six commercial. I am not into it for the diet but i think the workout looks good and I need a new video to keep me interested. thanks for your help everyone and if you have any other suggestions please dont hesitate to let me know!

oh me too me too....LOL

I am a senior in college in North Carolina. A Psych major who had back surgery a little over a year ago and I got all the way up to 202. LOL

Currently 180

Height: 5'4

Goal weight: 140

Thanks everyone for your help. The link was very helpful too. I dont know about the diet as I am already watching what I eat but I was concerned about the exercise program.

Why and I on this journey:

For me and my body. I want to see what my body can do...what it is actually capable of. I want to test my limits and exceed them. I guess it is also vanity in a way. I wanna be the girl at the club who is shakin her a$$ and looks good in that mini skirt! LOL

I also wanna go to Grad school and not have to worry about my weight. I plan to get my Doctorate in Clinical Psych so I have alot of years ahead of me. I dont want to have to worry about my health as well as school and work. It would be too much on my plate. So if I make my lifestyle changes now then it will be easier later.

Lastly, my baby sister motivates me. She is 10 and she is big for her age. (me and my other sister were like that as well) but I want to show her that it can be done.

Mostly though I am SO SELFISH...it is about ME MYSELF AND I!

It has been fun ladies and gents but I am officially out of the 180 club. For the past couple of days I have been creeping into the 170's and I think it is safe to say that I am going to be joining the 170 club if there is one! the scale said 177.5 today and I am too too happy about it.

One year and One semester left until I graduate with a Bach. in Psych

I gained alot of weight due to a tumor in my spine and being up on steroids

the best food is in the cafeteria because they have a fruit and snack bar. I love fruit and salad!

The dinning halls SUCK! they only have fried food because I am in the south so every wensday it is fried chicken! just lots of pasta and pizza and no real variety

I would like to join. I have been stuck at 180 for the longest! I dont go  down but I guess the best thing is that I dont go UP. I just maintain! well at least I know that if I can maintain a 180 for a little over 3 weeks then a 150 will be no problem! Good luck everyone!

my next little goal is to lose 8-10 lbs in July. This will put me well into the 170's.

my next big goal is to lose 30lbs and run 3 miles completely

Bust 38

Waist 34

Hips 40

I noticed that after my back surgery when I gained about 20 lbs. I gained it mostly in my stomach area. I have always been large up top. It is kinda confusing but I am researching and tryin to figure it all out.

Plus this site and its members are so helpful

Every morning for me as well. I dont get upset when it goes up and It makes me work harder to watch what I eat and to work out. I use it as a reminder
