Oh my goodness...i'm totally in the same boat here. I'm a college student and i swear EVERYONE has pizza in their fridge. Its like hmmm whats for dinner? PIZZA OF COURSE. Either that or some sort of pasta. It's been hard but a few of my close girlfriends have decided to actually COOK dinner and eat it. We go for supermarket specials when getting vegetables and stuff for cooking..its hard, but possible.

I wouldn't worry about it. If you mess up one day, just get back on track the next. Plus, judging by your weight and activity level, the stuff you ate just burnt off anyway. No worries, no worries<3

Hey!!

I'm around 168 now and it feels AWESOME!!
Last november I was around 190 so losing this much feels really really good. My doctor recommends that I stay in the 160's for my build. I'm 5'9" and basically just a thick girl..

I'd still like to make it to like upper 50's so i'm trying to move along just like the rest of you!!

Hey Cosmo,

I really do know where you're coming from. I used to eat the same amount. But guess what happened to me...i ended up in the hospital. I'm not saying that will for sure happen to you, but you must trust everyone on here when they say that you should consume 1,200 calories. They're not just saying this to make you mad and all flustered, they are saying this cause your body absolutely NEEDS the calories.

So just try to get to 1,200 calories. If you ate 1,000 and feel bad about eating the extra 200, eat really healthy foods like mixed vegetables or some fruit, to make you feel a little better about the calories you're taking in.

Hope this helps:)

Wow I didn't know there was so much to buying a running shoe. I have more of a flat foot then an arched, though I do have a little bit of an arch. Finding shoes for me is pretty hard, but you guys seem to have all that info down pat. Thanks!!

There aren't any specific running shoe places around here. All we have is a finish line. Will that do?

The thing is, i'm fine with walking long distances. I've hiked 13 miles recently and I was absolutely fine. So walking around the block seems too easy...so i thought i'd just run.

The first time I did go pretty fast, but the second attempt I tried to take it slow. I still didn't make it around the block. It was probably because I was already winded from the first time right?

Thank you for your suggestions. I love the support.

wow, thank you for that saroful, I needed to see that as well.

ladyashleigh, i'm in the same boat as you.
I've been suffering with an ED for a couple years now
(fear of food, laxitives, warped body image...)
And some days it's really hard for me to eat as well. But if you look at what saroful just said, it makes eating feel okay to me. It also makes me realize how much my body was being restricted when I was down to eating 600 calories a day.

I hope that helps in some way! I know you can do it! Slow and steady and you'll make it.

I'm 17 too..and I have stretch marks as well..
And ya know...most of us have them eventually...we just got them rather early...

I know there are some creams out there...I know of one that hids them...but to make them fully go away...I don't know if it's possible.

When you lose weight they do fade, I know that for sure.

Don't worry too much about it...and good luck with everything

Is there a special doctor you have to go to  to get your metabolism checked?

How would a doctor test it anyway?

Averaging sounds good...
I usually eat some bad stuff on the weekends as well.

I'm sorry if I sound stupid, but doing this stuff the wrong way is what i'm used to. I really need to learn some healthy habits.

My mom doesn't call it a diet, she calls it a live-it.:)

I did that for a good year to get better...i'm not nearly as bad as I used to be (believe me)

It just seems a lot harder for me for some reason to lose a little bit than it was to lose a lot. It seemed as though the 100 lbs I lost just melted off of me...

But 13 lbs is impossible?!
It's weird how things work like that.

I just started this today, so I haven't really kept track of my eating habits. I'm usually very cautious of what I eat, so it's usually not junk food and I don't like to eat a lot of carbohydrates( well i love them but I make myself not eat them a lot) After today i'll have a better idea of how much I eat in a day.

But if i don't eat the recommended amount already and I start eating it, won't I gain weight?

This stuff is scary!
